Justin is the best he may be young, but he’s very very knowledgeable on everything in that facility & helped everyone that was going to a pretty big crisis on the day I went down there and he didn’t even break a sweat, but he got everything handled in a timely manner & was very professional bout EVERYTHING he said & did including keeping an intruder out of the building that kept on trying to enter the facility.. He handled everything very professionally and knowledgeabley with everyone of us that were there that day. This guy definitely deserves a raise and Tracy is also very highly recommended in my book in this storage facility because she too is also very friendly and knowledgeable. I have been there for many many moons and there are some people that I used to talk to throughout the years that didn’t even know what they were talking about but Tracy and Justin totally have my in this particular storage building I feel like A lot of people could learn from these two that’s how good they are.. 💯🙌🏼

I have used Storage facilities at eight or nine different places in my life and the one at 2497 Grove Way in Castro Valley has got to be the worse location I’ve ever used. The day we moved in there were no carts and we were told they did not even have any carts at that time because people were stealing them and so they just decided not to purchase any more. Our unit was on the 2nd floor in the back and we had a full 24 foot trailer. Several times I saw this same situation happen with others as well. Many times we went there during open hours, but they were locked up with no notice at all. People were showing up with lots of stuff and they were just not open. Last weekend I went there and their elevators were not working and so people had to move things to the second and third floor by one small staircase, which, by the way, they don’t even allow you to use the stairway except in these type of circumstances. You are only allowed to use the elevators which there are two but often one is not working. The lady that works there is very nice, but she has no control over what goes on at the location. I just went there with a carload and the elevators were still not working and the stairway door was locked and there was no one there. I tried calling twice and I just got voicemail so I left messages but no return call of course. So very unprofessional! Save yourself some frustration and do not rent there. They even have a location three buildings down that is accessible electronically only, it is a non-manned location, but it is so much more reliable! I’m seriously thinking of moving back there.

Have been renting here for a while. Great value and good amount of spaces. Shout out to Ann for great customer service on a holiday weekend 🤘

Krysta(5stars) is very helpful Peggy(1star)was completely rude to me. I know someone coming in 15 mins before closing isn’t always fun but to be rude to the customer isn’t the way to do it. I’m sorry you counted your drawer early. Darcy is the best. She’s always there to help me when I come in and her jokes cheer me up when I’m feeling down. She’s a great asset to the company

Christa, Kyle and Peggy were very professional and most helpful.They all work as a team and uphold each other, very good teamwork and very patient and professional.

In my opinion this location is the worst.. To start off I signed up online to receive the “online price” while they had a promo. After the system took my money no promotion was added so it was almost like a bait n switch.. I have screen recordings from start to finish of me signing up on my phone with the website promoting their “online price” that I didn’t receive. Peggy could care less when I called she said there was no promotion nothing she can do. Fast forward 5 months later rent goes from $130 to $180 for a 5x10 unit… if you’re ok with rent going up 40% in 5 months this is your place to be. Good luck trying to use their public bathroom also it’s never unlocked.

Terrible customer service, the employee "Peggy" yelled at me while I was politely asking her a question she looked like she wanted to attack me, they don't provide cars just so you all know and save your money.

This is the most terrible experience I ever had as a customer in this Public storage facility by the person at the front desk named PEGGY she is very unprofessional, rude and with very POOR customer service experience. I got to the office yesterday to check out with her since I was moving out my stuff and I asked to please let me use one of the cars very quick to pick up few boxes because it was raining very hard so she didn’t let me use it and made me lift up heavy boxes when the office still was open. Seem in a rush to go home !!! Unbelievable you treat customers this way ! Never again coming back here !!! Unhelpful woman .

Peggy is a hard worker and have good customer service and good person.

Had a really great experience at this location. I was helped and not overlooked and I got all my questions answered. Peggy was very helpful, seemed very knowledgeable about prices and sizes. Very nice and down to earth. I'm not sure how far she can go with public storage but, she definitely can go to the top.

I reserved online night before and chose a specific unit at a specific rate. Peggy was amazing. She called and introduced herself the next morning. I came in, she showed me around the building and my unit and then helped me finish the process up front. I got the price that was advertised. She was very helpful and personable. Chelsea and Christa are rock stars at this location. Very knowledgeable about the products offered. Excellent customer service rendered and all questions about the contract answered. Top tier conversation skills. Talked me into renting a 10x20 when I was just going to get a smaller unit. Same day service as my appointment. Very happy.

The worst experience ever. Multiple break ins here and they have not added security measures. Darcy was zero help in trying to find out who was behind my theft. She was no help to the sheriffs office either. There are cameras on the property but none in the actual hallways. DO NOT RENT HERE.

The new property manager is just simply amazing she's focused and driven her vision is spot in and she has a personality type that us a rare find public storage really scored high points funding this I e because she is by far she is best I have seen yet. One of the things I really like is that she does truly care about people she goes out of her way to say hi that is rare to see. Way to go Rick Nicole is awesome man don't let her go this team is amazing fantastic job Nicole I'm proud of ya!

I had an absolutely amazing experience today with Darcy. I have had a storage unit here for almost 2 years now. There was a concern pertaining to my unit at which point Darcy went above and beyond to ensure I had my issue ameliorated. She is affable and professional. Also, the upkeep of the building is well-maintained. Highly recommend.

Darcy, one of the employees here is great! She is very helpful and makes sure you know where your unit is and answers any questions you may have. So far I like that I have a unit here the place is not dirty and it is in a good area.

Darcy was such a pleasure to meet and she made the sign-up a delightful, social experience. What a nice lady!
