Our Carmichael Public Storage facility is conveniently located on on Fair Oaks Blvd, just below Lincoln Avenue and north of Ancil Hoffman Park and the American River. It is southeast of American River College.

Our location near North Ridge Country Club makes our 5x10 storage units an ideal choice for golfers who want to store extra clubs, bags, shoes, and more. The 5x10 storage unit is also good for books, out-of-season clothes, important documents, and more.
Our versatile, popular 10x10 storage unit is perfect for storage needs that include furniture, for customers who need to store the equivalent of a one to two-bedroom apartment. We even have packing supplies like boxes, bubble wrap, and tape to make your move that much simpler.
The 10x20 storage unit is best for large hauls, giving our customers plenty of space to store a two- to three-bedroom house. That includes couches, beds, coffee tables, dressers, and large kitchen appliances. And to keep you from throwing out your back or hurting your knees, we offer a selection of outdoor storage units with drive-up access. Every time I’m there I see him and he’s always asking me how I’m doing and definitely takes pride in his job anytime I’ve ever needed anything he has helped me out and made my experience in public storage awesome. No one is ever in the office and it is hard to speak to a human being No one ever answers the phone. They gave us a bad lock to lock our storage and we could not get anyone to help us. U-Haul is a better choice we were able to rent a truck and have great customer service available to us and our lock was free of charge.

David is the new guy in charge here at pubic storage on Fair Oaks in Carmichael and of all the managers that i have delt with over the years renting a storage unit here he is by far the friendliest. He is always out on the grounds working on something and this place looks the best that it has looked in years. Public Storage needs good managers like David that work hard and that takes his job serioulsy and hopefully they keep him around for many years to come.

I appreciate the customer service at this location it’s not very often you run into a employee that goes above and beyond for customer satisfaction but Selena did just that I’m going through a very difficult time at the moment losing my dog of 16 years and currently going through a divorce but for a second in that office it felt like I could breathe again she was so compassionate and concerned she even walked me through the process step by step with a smile on her face I really hope god blesses her sweet heart we need more Selena’s in this world im very satisfied with my unit and public storage finally a step in the right direction!!♥️

When I tell you that I am so amazed at the customer service I received from this guy named King. He made my day by watching him take care of 2 customers at the same time without missing a beat! I actually had a storage room across the street, but there was no one there and I was told to go across the street to the other public storage building. I'm all the way from Cleveland Ohio and at first I felt inconvenient but after being able to get set up so quickly I didn't notice. King was very professional, and very sociable.

Prices get jacked up 25% or more within 6 months. No flexibility. I will be moving out. This is after I already downgraded the space to avoid the increase in price.

I went to 2 other locations before I came here and was (Greeted, by an actual person), the others, one never responded and the second was flat rude. Turns out they where “satellite” location (don’t have business hours if you’re not going to work), Why didn’t these other two ladies say that! I’m glad I tried a third time and came to this location, great customer service and a very helpful/polite attendant!

We moved out of our storage early on Saturday hoping to check out in the office. Although the hours on the door are posted sat-sun 9:30am to 5pm, there was nobody available. No note on the door saying Be back in an hour or any sign or anything.
