LOOK ELSEWHERE ...Garage doors ARE ALWAYS BROKEN. IF YOU HAVE A TRUCK, FORGET IT. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. NO WARNING the exit Garage door doesn't work until you're STUCK INSIDE. VERY SHARP TURNS FOR TRUCKS TO BACK OUT. NO JOKE!!

I seldom post reviews, but this week's visit made me madder than a hornet. I arrived about 9:15 - of course, once again, the drive in entrance was blocked off with cones. This has been happening since about August last year. The excuse was that someone hit it - which yes, back in August and September, you could see. Then it got fixed. But, they still block it off. The keypad didn't work - the door said We're Open! They were not. I knocked, called the number on the door, left a message (which still has not been returned. Of course.). Nothing. This is NOT the first time this has happened - no one present during the purported working hours. Several people came and left, as neither the keypad nor the app was working. A gal did show up, at 9:40, with the excuse that she hadn't worked that location before. She had no idea why the entrance was blocked off. She had to unlock something to allow the keypad / app to work. So, you have to enter via the exit, figure out how to turn around in narrow space, have no air flow-through, step into a filthy elevator which looks like the floor hasn't been vacuumed or cleaned since the Second World War, and when you exit play Jenga with the other poor souls entering the exit. This is truly unacceptable, yet what is the recourse? I highly recommend choosing another spot. Any place may be better to store your stuff.
Follow up on August 9th - we were there at 3:30, customer service door locked up tight, "we're open" sign on the door, no one there. The exit door is STILL blocked, it's a nightmare to back out or turn around, and if your phone won't connect to their bluetooth you are literally trapped. As we were today. Nope, door wouldn't open, we tried the code on the exit door to see if maybe that worked for the front, and no one in the office. No other renter in sight. Finally, we saw the manual switch on the right side of the inside of the entry door. What if you are disabled and can't reach that switch? You're stuck until someone else comes, and who knows, on a weekday, when that will be. You can't even order a pizza, no way to slide it under the door. Heaven forbid someone take the time and effort to put a sign up to alert folks to what's going on. A regional manager called me about 2 months ago when she saw the initial review - it was a waste of time, she can do nothing other than offer meaningless platitudes. Can't wait for it to cool down so we can leave. I didn't think things could get worse - silly me, of COURSE they can! What's next, you open the elevator door and are assaulted by a plague of locusts?
The lady checked me in was rude. She gave away my reserved room and told me it was first come first serve with an attitude

The employees were super nice and they even let us use the restroom while the main office was closed. One of the nicest storage locations in surprise!
The storage itself is a nice place Geno is very nice but public storage after maybe one year raised our rates we had a storage in illinois for at least 3 years never raised us once if there rates went up they honored our contract at our price.
The place was nice and clean the staff was very friendly! One of the bay doors were broken so there was only one way in and one way out making it I creditable difficult to get out as I got blocked in.

I had an emergency and Kayla at the mirage location was so nice and helped me get all set up at the last minute on a Saturday. She is amazing and I can’t explain how much I appreciate her help today.
I've had a storage unit here for a year and I have never once used the door since they always block it off. So I always have to back my car into the "exit" door. I would not recommend this place It's a pain in the booty to get in and out.
I remind you there is an easier door to access to get inside but they always block it off. So you always have to go through the exit door which has a weird curve to it so it makes it hard for vehicles to get in and out.

Came to public storage today not really knowing what size exactly that we needed. After letting Gino know what items we needed to store he was able to accurately give us a good size storage. He was really nice, professional and made us feel comfortable and secure knowing our precious items would be safe. I'd recommend speaking to Gino if you need a space for rent.
Went in to upgrade my storage unit to a larger size and with the help of Gino the process was fast and easy. He was able to get me into a larger unit that was close and easily accessible from my old one. The customer service was phenomenal and I would highly recommend going to Gino and this public storage. It's convenient. Only issue is you pull in to drop off your items and there isn't much space in that part of the building. I've gone multiple times and moving trucks have blocked cars from being able to drive through and exit. There's also really no way to see if any vehicles are inside. & if you do happen to see 1, once the garage opens there's usually more.
There is parking outside so you are able to wheel things in from those spots. There's about 10 spots on the side of the building

The building itself is in very good condition. It's almost brand new but they have no place for garbage to be thrown and so when a tenant moves out they end up just piling the stuff on the side of the road or they throw it in the building next door.
It ends up being quite an eyesore for the entire neighborhood.
I've spoken with management on repeated occasions and it's very difficult to get any sort of resolution for this trash problem. Had to go so far as to call the city.
I've been using space at Public Storage in different locations for 20 years. Until the current location in Arizona, I have never had a major problem. This facility was new when I first moved my overflow things and I thought it would be great because of the automatic garage door that could be closed to help with the extreme heat during the summer. Unfortunately, the door has been a problem. Someone damaged it and it hasn't been fixed since early this year. Access has been limited. Now, the hours for access have been reduced to 9:30am to 5pm. No early morning access when it's cool and no late afternoon access. But, they didn't hesitate to raise the rates by over ⅓ in a year. What's wrong with this picture? They have been promising to repair the door for months but nothing has been done. Very unhappy customer...
The access door has been broken for almost a year now and they refuse to give any update on when they will be getting it fixed. I understand businesses having issues with their equipment but come on, it’s been about a year and we still can’t access our storage in the hours that we’re originally agreed upon? That’s ridiculous. On top of that, they have regular rate hikes that increase drastically every so often. Even that, I would be understanding of IF we were getting the service that we initially agreed to. The limited hours and unwillingness of the office to fix their equipment or give leniency on the rate hikes due to their inability to give storage access for the hours initially agreed upon, just go somewhere else. They lure you in with an enticing starting price just to Jack it up as you go, without even giving you the full end of their side of the deal. Bad business. Bad service. Bad all around. Spend your money elsewhere, trust me.

The new manager is friendly and helpful. I needed to trade my smaller unit for a larger one and he made it as easy as possible. We had some issues with a different manager here, but not now.
We recently had an issue with someone accidentally running into our storage unit with their car and damaging our door exposing our contents. CAT (front office) was absolutely amazing in helping to secure our space until the door could be repaired. He kept us informed on the status as it took a couple days to get someone out. If it were not for him we would have immediately had our items moved to another facility because we could not get any information or assistance from the district manager nor the main office. Thank You CAT for all you do!

The access gate has been broken for sometime and has not been fixed. Because of that they have just certain hours to use the facility and these hours don't adjust to my times, the only day I can go is sunday and they are CLOSED. As a costumer please fix this problem ASAP other wise I recommend to not use this storage place.
The gentleman who helped me from the very beginning has always been extremely kind and courteous. I have only visited the facility a few times, but they are always clean, I have even had other people also renting a unit asked me if I am in need of help and they are more than willing to help me. I also like the fact that the keys come with your unit and each of the locks goes directly into the frame of your unit, that does make me feel safer

They need to fix the door. Total hassle to back into the loading/unloading area. I rented by mistake at that location, thought it would be great since you are able to pull in the loading area. Well the entry door has been broken every time I have come to access my unit. If they fix the door I would change my review.
I rented a place online and got there and the sign said the access code Gaye was closed...I needed to move in later and have access and they said sorry no access after 6 the gate is broken...I asked how long the gate was broken and they said months and they had no ETA. Canceled my agreement and went down the road to CubeSmart much cheaper and access until 10 p.m. and the gate works...much better deal! There is no reason for a gate to be broken for months with no end in sight
The access door has been broken for months. Due to this they have severely limited the hours. When the office is supposed to be open, it isn't. Anytime I asked when it would be fixed, I was told "hopefully not more than a couple of weeks." There were multiple times I drove to access my unit, only to have the only way in completely blocked by a moving truck, so again, no access during the already shortened hours. I paid a ton of money to store here & finally gave up. I would never recommend moving in to this place. I moved my items to a different storage company and have been extremely pleased with a clean, well kept storage facility & fantastic customer service. Polar opposite of my experience at Public Storage.
DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I can never get to my storage. Either the gate to enter is broke or the elevator is broke and I can't access stairs. I drive so far to come get My belongings that I pay to keep here and CANT get my stuff. Horrible customer service. It's always Something

Not sure where these good reviews are coming from because this place is a mess. It may be a clean, shiny, brand new building but it has been a very inconvenient experience so far and I will be moving out of my unit next month. The ONLY entry door that you can drive your truck through to load/unload has been broken during every single one of my visits in the past year. Currently it has been down since before Christmas. They brag about having a secure facility yet the downside is that you can't bring your truck inside. And they still had the nerve to increase my monthly payment after only a few months of being there. You would think some of our money would go towards the door repairs? I will say that the staff here is very nice and helpful, but sometimes hard to find, which is understandable if they're helping customers with their units. Management is never reachable, even when their own employees call them. I once watched a worker get locked out of the office and his manager wouldn't answer his calls... poor guy had to sit in the heat waiting for hours (while still helping customers) since his belongings were locked inside. He was almost in tears. The design of this place is also terrible, only a few moving trucks fit inside at a time and there are constant traffic jams. It's almost impossible to get a spot, especially on the weekends. I would strongly advise against using this place unless you will not be visiting often.
A very good place for storage ,The staff are outstanding ,Rod , and Gino ,very professional and helpful ,courteous.all around clean establishment.go store your stuff there!. I have had a unit there since their opening. I don't go often, admittedly, but every time I have gone it's been a hassle. The gate doesn't work, no carts available (they only have FOUR for that entire complex), no one is in the office to ask questions of or to purchase supplies.
When we rented the unit no where on the website was there a notice stating that access to my unit was cut by 6 1/2 hours a day due to entry door not working. Inquired in office when this would be fixed and they replied that they had no idea last time it was down that it was down for couple of months. Main reason we rented here was accessibility. No where on web site did they have anything posted about limited access due to nonfunctioning entry door

When I finally went to the office, I had the pleasure of meeting Rod. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. This storage has automatic doors (For security purposes, I get it) but due to there being a passing Lane and a loading/unloading lane. My vehicle was not able to get quite far enough in due to a ramp from someone parked too far back in the passing Lane and no employees were managing this lane like they previously were. The slide door came down and hit my trunk, causing expensive damage. There was no way to reverse out due to traffic parked behind me and the facility is stating they won't cover repairs.
I get that you need to keep your business secure in a storage facility but if you don't have someone managing this specific Lane at all times, please post a sign out front that the door WILL close on your vehicle. I don't think the general public would all expect that. The fact you won't own up to your mistake says something.

If I could give more than five stars I would.Valerie was very helpful, friendly and professional. The facility is newer, organized and clean.Has a nice indoor loading and unloading space. It is a state of the art facility when it comes to security. Would highly recommend.

Manager Rod has been extremely helpful in providing what I consider a top notch service during my registration and move in process. He took time to confirm each step of the registration process so there would not be issues or gaps in the application. I like his attention to details without making this process burdensome but effective.

Thought I had reserved 5x10 space online for use beginning Oct 1. Went in to see unit, sign n pay first payment of $52 today Sept 6. Find out after being signed up n paying; then walking long distance with key for unit, finally find it n it won't open using key!! Then tried to call the PS office attendant but had no internet wifi in building. Found an Exit door n walked down one flight to street. Went back to office n complained; the attendant then wanted me to walk back so he could show me the key worked. I was not able. My husband went with the attendant. I asked for a chair as my back was complaining loudly with pain. Upon their return, I indicated that the distance to rental unit was much too far from elevator area for my bad back. I had asked the attendant previous to signing up for a unit close to elevator. So because I wanted to cancel, he wouldn't refund to my card the full amount! Told me to contact Public Storage office. I did; held on for about 20-25 minutes n now I'm waiting to be contacted by a PS manager. Never again!😤🤬
Rod is Awesome! The storage is inside so no issues with weather ever! It is clean and cold. Rod made the move in very easy! He is Exceptional! I am so glad I moved my stuff here.

SCAM going when trying to rent online. You go all the way through the application and then at then end you have to purchase insurance through them. Supposedly you can cancel afterwards, however we all know how that goes. They make it as difficult as possible to cancel knowing that most people will give up. My homeowners insurance covers the insurance requirements. There is no way to opt out and provide proof of insurance prior to using the space. BE AWARE, THE COST IS GOING TO GO WAY UP FROM THE ONLINE QUOTE. I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Had trouble opening the door of my purchased unit during the day all my things arrived from across the country. Valerie was extremely helpful in quickly finding us a like-in-kind unit and making sure we had space available for the unload that day. Thank you Valerie!

Friendly staff that took the time to answer my questions. Was great to have air condition as you unload or load you belongings to your unit. First that I have used. Good that they have cameras and security. I recommend buying your own lock. I made the mistake and bought a lock too big. I bought theirs and it will not work anywhere else. I did not know, when turning in your unit you do not get a prorate reimbursement of funds. It is month to month in the contract. My fault for not paying attention. The carts they purchased came in handy. I will use this storage facility again if needed.

I can not begin to tell you how poor my experience has been with this location. The manager called me to “help me finalize” my payment even though I had already made it. While they were kind enough to call me to make sure they get payment, they have been unable to answer a call for two days. I have called every hour trying to move my appointment up. Customer service can not do this only they can, but they never answer the call. This has to be the worst way to handle business. Be ready to call pending customer but screw you if you have already paid.
