My experience with Public Storage has been very positive. They were transparent through the reservation process and followed up with timely and clear emails. One thing to note is the "first floor" may not be at ground level and instead may be below in the basement. It's not a problem but I didn't grasp that during my sign-up process.

The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The storage is located in a quiet & safe area. It is very easy to access the storage unit 24/7, you have your own code to let yourself in, through the main entrance & then you have your secured unit.
We just moved into our unit and when we saw which locker we were in, we weren’t the biggest fans. It was downstairs, all the way in the back. I went to the front where I met Jeff and shared my concerns. He found us a new unit on the first floor right by the front doors! There was no hassle when changing the unit and Jeff was an absolute pleasure to work with. At our old storage unit, the employees were anything but helpful. So glad we made the switch! Thank you for making a great first impression, Jeff!

The 2nd time was when we met in person when I went to fill my unit. He didn’t remember me right away…but I SURE remember him! Kathleen helped us after new years and was very helpful and patient with our requests. We wanted to switch storages and she made it easy. The other staff member when we returned was also great. Place feels secure for storage and easy set up. The units are oddly numbered because the 2000s are on the ground floor and the 1000 are in the basement. Other than that we liked the setup and online setup.

**news flash, public storage called me today out of the blue. The agent said that she wanted to reduce my rent back to its original price for another 3 months. I wonder if this post had anything to do with that? **
It's not really a climate controlled environment as advertised, stead, there appears to be some sort of evaporative cooler at the end of the corridor that blows air.
There are no units that are drive up, everything has to be accessed by cart, which are few and far between and in rag tag, need of replacement.
I failed to see the justification for increasing prices 35% other than corporate greed.
They're playing the numbers game that is causing people to assess whether it is really worth it to move to another facility given the cost of the truck and the loss of time in moving.
Public storage corporate counts on the majority people not willing to sacrifice the time and additional expense to move and therefore their customer must swallow the rate increase.
1 1/2 miles further west, you will find a CubeSmart storage facility with true climate control storage units, and possibly 200 drive up accessible units. Prices are reasonable gate hours have been extended, and the staff are delightful.
Jeffrey was super! He helped us much in our move out. Unfortunately Public Storage had again increased our monthly price so it was time to say good bye.
If you need storage, this is your place. I have to say, best experience I’ve ever had at a storage facility. Having to move things to storage unexpectedly, I felt so well taken care of here. Jeff was amazing, so kind and helpful. He went out of his way to make the move easy.

This was my first storage rental and Vita, the manager, was very helpful in making my choice. A year later, I needed a smaller unit and lower cost. Vita was most helpful in finding an alternative. I am extremely thankful, she made the extra effort and stayed the extra time to ensure our move and our account changes went well. If you need a storage solution, Vita is the right choice!

I have had a storage location for years due to business. Vita has always been helpful and knowledgeable to the way things work. She builds good client relationships for the facility & Public Storage.
I have had a storage unit here for years and it has been great. I have never had any issues. When the storage rate went up, I asked Vita to review it for me and she was able to get the price lowered a little bit and when I decided to switch to a smaller unit Vita was also very helpful with the process.
I came to this facility because of the exceptionally amazing reviews I read about the manager, Vita. After driving my 20 foot U-haul truck to my original reservation with a competitor’s storage company (found out it was too far away, and in a not as nice neighborhood as Public Storage), I made sure I stopped by Vita’s place.
As advertised, this place rocks, I would have paid even more money then I did (though I found Scottsdale way more then Reno) just for the service I received; but wait, low and behold, this Public Storage was less then other storage places I had looked at in area.
The only draw back I could mention here is: no units left on the ground floor, so I had to take a lower level one, but surprisingly not a big deal moving in using an elevator.
I’m sure the air conditioning will be nice to have on those 120 degree summer days too…
The experience there sets Vita above every one else. She is kind, considerate and knowledgeable helping you to make the best decision for your needs. I recommend her highly and believe she can be the perfect guide for all of your storage needs.
We needed a place to store most of our belongings for a few months and decided in this facility. The manager Vita Stigall was very helpful and kind. We were set up with a unit and ready to go in a timely fashion with a unit that is just the right size for our needs.
