Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 4423 N 24th St, Phoenix, AZ

I keep storage at different locations in the Phoenix area as I am a sales consultant and need to keep product near my clients. I was so happy to find this location that is actually near my home and I must say that Becky is an absolute delight. Very friendly, personable and her property is immaculate! I would give 10 stars!

Becky is always so nice and helpful. She always makes me feel welcome and I appreciate everything she does for me.

My boyfriend was locked out last night before he could close our unit, so it was left open all night (his fault) This morning we were relieved to know that Becky took the initiative to lock it up and put the keys in the office. Although we are moving out today because we just got our new apartment, we are thankful that she cared enough to make sure our things were safe. Thank you, Becky!!!!

I work out of the storage unit every week and always love seeing Becky! Such a sweetheart! They keep it clean and air conditioned so my products are safe!

I was on the fence about renting here but after Becky helped me get set up, all my worries went out the window. She was extremely personable and understanding. She even showed me to my unit and how to get in to it! Would give more the 5 stars if I could!

We had been researching a couple storage options in the area, and although Public Storage wasn’t actually the closest to us, we ultimately decided to use their services because of their ease of reservation, responsiveness and pricing. Just recently got a storage unit here and Becky has been so helpful anytime I have questions! She is personable and knows what she’s doing.

Helped my mom move some stuff in and out of her unit and I was impressed by this location and Becky! She answered all of my dumb questions and my mom says she has been super helpful! When I can move my unit over to this location I am going to!

I decided on this storage place because of its proximity to where I live. It was very convenient, clean, and new. I like that it's air-conditioned. However, I am deducting a star because the contract states that the fee could increase, and they will notify you hopefully via email. I do not like this, as I prefer to be locked into my price and not have to worry about it going up on me, which could get expensive. Becky was really sweet when I went in to look at the units, and on the day I got my lock and key, I met with Amalia, who was extremely helpful and sweet as well. They hire great staff. Five stars for Becky and Amalia, but I can't give five stars overall because of the potential price increases.

My dad's usees this storage facility for years, I recently went with him and met the office girl Becky , she was so nice and helpful, my dad's alittle older and repeats himself, and Becky was just amazing with him, so nice to actually have someone that cares❤️

A friend of mine has a unit at the 24th street facility. The staff was very helpful and facility was very clean. If I needed a storage unit I would consider renting from this facility my friend said that Becky Poe was a great rep and assisted her with getting her unit and keeping her informed on everything regarding the public storage

Rented here 2/23 since it was walking distance from my home and my job had me relocate to the east coast temporarily. Came by 2/24 only to find my lock Brocken. Never received a call. Stated my line of 20 years was “out of service” when they “tried” to call me to inform me my lock was broken on 6/23. Over $5000 in personal items stolen. TV’s, bike, Dyson products, air fryer, ice machine, water dispenser, coffee machine, sound bar, bar stools, all gone. However, found a cutoff lock from someone else’s unit in belongings. Told cameras don’t go back that far. Prior agent told me this happens a lot and she’s finding another job. I suggest looking for a place where they don’t allow their employees to break in and steal your items. Trying to log into my account and they already closed it and I had their insurance as well. I never leave any reviews but when your hard work to own your own is taken advantage of and no one cares, it’s important to notify and warn other potential customers. Poor customer service!

Average storage place except you need ID to use a cart.....I know right? No public toilet .And a couple of people seen using it as a overnight stay place. Lady accused me of being FBI and to stop surveillance on her Cuckoo

ALL THEY HAVE TO SAY IS THAT THEY DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED,AND THEY DONT HAVE ANY RECORD OF WHY THE LOCK WAS REPLACED, AND IF I ALLOWED ANYONE ACCESS TO MY ITEMS! MOST OF MY BELONGINGS WERE GONE!

The service is so great that I decided to leave this review. Spencer helped me with everything I needed and was very pleasant. If anyone is looking for storage I would come here.

When you can’t get in contact with a corporate official or human resource agent via telephone.. Who wants to speak to bots and “live agents” that show lack of empathy when a PAYING customer needs to be heard .. That’s poor customer service.

Rented here since they opened as US Storage. Once Public Storage bought the facility, I received several rent increases of 20 -25%. There newest thing is to lock up the moving carts and there are not enough of them (only 2 or 3 at this location). The Service person advised these are a convenience they are not obligated to provide. Funny, every other storage place provides them. I went to a different nearby facility (different company) and will be moving since their rate is 1/3 my current rent.

I would strongly suggest going elsewhere with your business. I arrived in my move in day and nobody was there to help…no one is ever at these places. So I logged into my account set my move out date as the same day (as their website instructs) and went elsewhere. Never set foot inside or touched the unit. I called them 3 times with no call back.. Fast forward a bit and I’m getting lien notices and bill of almost $400 - they wont remove the bill! If this is how they do business it should be all the info you need for your storage unit search.

I am writing this review as an exit review. Martha who works at this location is very nice and helpful. She assisted when the manager had put a lock on my unity before I moved out. There was some items I needed to throw away that were still there. When I spoke to manager I was told the lock would be taken off so I could grab those items. It wasn't so it took 2 days to find someone on site to assist. My issue is that there is no customer service at all. During business hours (which need to be updated) there should be a way to get a hold of someone. What if there were an emergency. I grabbed my last items, spoke to Martha about what else should needed to be done (nothing) and pointed out that there were items in there that were not mine. (Photo attached) she stated sometimes when they find things they put in empty locations. Since the location put a padlock on my unit that means they had access to it.... these items are not mine! I cleaned everything out of my unit (as an event planner I use my space for linens, vases and things like that. ) and have departed. If you get to work with Martha, that is awesome... but check on mgmt hours and how to find someone.

This is our first time renting at Public Storage. Spencer was awesome. Very patient, kind and detailed. All our questions were answered and we left feeling extremely confident that we are in great hands.

This is the worst property I've had the displeasure of renting from. It was okay when I first signed up but there was a change in staff and It doesn't matter what time I visit, nobody is ever there. The guy claims he's cleaning the property but that's not true, he is completely gone from the property. I have the same issue with calling, I never get an answer and I never get a returned phone call. The one time I got a return phone call was when a Manager from a different property was filling in for the day and she said she had tons of voicemails because he doesn't check them. The carts used to be left in a common area, but now they're in the office and imagine how difficult it is to get your hands on one when the manager is never there to open the office. The restroom also isn't properly maintained/stocked and again, no Manager on duty to help. There's another location nearby at Thomas and 28th St. I recommend instead, it's much cleaner and the Manager is on top of things and always there or answers the phone. It was a much better experience at that location for me. Stay away from this one.

I was at this location last month and Martha at the front desk was very helpful. I had to get a new key and couldn’t figured out how to install it. Martha was very nice and patient and showed me how to do it. The location is very clean and there is always 1-2 people at the front desk. Thanks

Spencer was great! My first time renting a storage and he walked me through the process. He even showed me the actual unit and way around the unit, such as elevators, codes, etc. Was very professional and would recommend coming here for your first rental unit!

Wendy at Public Storage went out of her way today to help me with the auction unit I purchased. It was inconvenient that we were not able to get codes to access the units but she was very accommodating, friendly and helpful every time we needed anything. Thanks Wendy!

The staff here is warm and welcoming and makes the process super easy and straight forward. The building appears to be brand new, and has multiple safety features. I was hesitant when I saw “climate controlled” but this place is icey cold. It’s safe to say my things won’t be melting in the summer heat. I couldn’t have had a better experience with Jennifer, the property manager. She answered all my questions and also went out of her way to personally show me the unit I was renting before making my final decision. I would definitely recommend coming here if you want a great price, fast service, and of course the peace of mind knowing your belongings are SAFE and SECURE! 10/10!

Great experience with the facility staff. Specifically, with Sarah and Michael. I upgraded units twice at the sister kiosk location on 20th street and Camelback. She worked with me and coordinated with the sister location’s property manager, Michael, to ensure I got the specific unit I wanted. I also had a few concerns that were quickly resolved. I most definitely feel very comfortable storing my stuff in my new, larger unit!

Never had any issues while renting storage space and when I was ready to vacate Sarah (the property manager) was incredibly helpful and made the process quick and easy. Will definitely come back if I need more storage space!

DONT RENT HERE -BURGLARIZED: My unit, along with a couple others was broken into. So it’s not safe despite the codes and cameras. No one called to apologize or do anything about it. 1 out 10 times (literally) has someone picked up the phone; it goes right to voicemail. None of my handful of voicemails have yet to ever be returned. There is no corporate route either. Neither of my emails on main site were ever returned either. The one time I got ahold of someone they offered a rent credit for the break in but it was only $50 (I pay $150) and the following month they laughably raised my rent. It was worth the extra cost to move my stuff to another facility because this experience has been an absolute nightmare. Can’t even say bad customer service… it doesn’t exist.

A while to figure out where my unit was and how to get into it but once I did it wasn't a problem so far I like it

Pricing since introductory offer has almost tripled in less than 3 years. Despite at least 4 requests to improve interior light sensors, motion sensors do not keep the hallway lights on outside our storage space.

Currently having an issue with this location, my review will be updated to show satisfaction once this is settled.

The building is beautiful, clean, and very secure you must have access codes to enter and get on elevator. However Opening at 9:30 in the morning is ridiculous, when it's summer in Phoenix, Arizona it's over 100 degrees by 9:30 AM (people like to move in the early am). The facility is open until 9:00 pm but staff is gone by 6:00 pm or earlier. Yesterday I was unable to put cart back on time due to doors automatically locking. They only have 2 carts to begin with, now I see why carts are being stolen. This automatic system isn't working. The staff is nice but has little control over facility policies.

The hours are suppose to be 9AM to 5PM, however, no one is actually there— ever. You You pay and pray here. Pay to have your items held hostage against the managers mood swings and pray someone helps you. They have 3 carts and a single catch, you can only use them IF someone is there (the gamble is yours). District manager? Nope, cannot have their contact even if the manager refuses to answer your calls or voicemails. Basically if you need anything you are better off calling yourself and consulting self. Do not store your items here if you want them.

DO NOT RENT FROM HERE… there is no real way for a truck or trailer to fit in here and it shows from the amount of damage on the building and property. Unless you plan on packing a small truck or car go somewhere else.

It was A super quick and easy Kody showed me how to navigate thru the app and was able to access my storage within 15mins! Highly recommend

There are only two bathrooms for customers to use and they don't give you access to either of them. Unless your lucky to find a staff member. There never there.

Might I say, I had the hardest time actually getting in this place but once I did the customer service was spectacular! Nicole helped me all the way from start to finish. And even walked me to the unit. Definitely go in and don't pay online, save some money too.

I had a great experience at this location with Annie! Upon move-in, I needed to quickly switch my unit (due to online booking location mix up) and she very quickly switched it out for me so my movers didn't have a long haul. Then, while waiting for them to complete the move (and after a stressful day of packing & moving)I had a container of things fall out of my trunk that flew all over the ground, Annie rushed over to help me pick up my things...it was completely above and beyond customer service! She is very nice, so helpful and great at her job! Thank you, Annie!

Noone there in the office, I realize most paperwork is completed online, but having one person in the office would be very helpful.

No one has returned my call in 3days!! I was over charged $46.67 and no one is responding. I used the Chat and the representative thought is was best to argue with me about the charge. Unprofessional! This facility has shady people hanging around all hours of the night. I went to take stuff at 8pm and 3men in a truck parked the truck in the way way back and were cleaning and throwing trash all over. They looked like junkys. The maintence people I am not sure about either. Don't rent here. They over charge and don't return calls.

Awful. They charge a lot and don't even have carts available. "Somebody locked them in their unit and I can't go in and get them". They won't buy more. Avoid. The worst and expensive, front desk isn't helpful at all. Update: They just increased my rent by 25%. Guess you love the feedback to make you "better". Don't worry - we are out before it kicks in. AVOID!!!

DO NOT RENT AT THIS LOCATION. My unit has been broken into an items have been stolen. There is no person there during business hours. The only thing you can do is leave a message. Or call the 800 number. I was never offered insurance. Now my unit has been broken into a second time an a lock put on the unit that is not mine so i have no access to what is left of my items. The property is littered with homeless people. Cigarette butts in the elevator. The cameras are pointless an so is the access code. Security is non existent at this location. Public Storage does not care about your items or this location. Ive contacted them in Facebook but they dont respond there either. I was told today i will be contacted within 48 hours. We will see... HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

8 out of 10 times, they will not have carts here so if you need them for your storage facility, do NOT rent here. The place is clean and well maintained but there are never carts. This never was an issue with previous owners, US Storage. If you need to be able to move or transport items and will need a cart, this is not the place for you. I have to stop by 2-3 times to actually have success in finding a cart to use.

Annie at 24th and camelback is very helpful

This location is amazing! Annie manages this location, and she runs a very tight ship. The indoor storage is always the perfect temperature, our unit is easy to access. The location is always clean, not to mention the front door and elevators are always in perfect working condition. And I have never needed a hand truck and not had one available. If there is such a thing as a perfect storage unit, this is it.
