Been renting here for about 5 years now and every year the price has gone up drastically. The price has gone up $175 over the past two years, that's ridiculous. That's greed, not inflation. The office is never open, never any carts available and if you get someone to actually answer, that's a miracle. I recently changed jobs and had to wait for my direct deposit to take effect so I was late with my payment. My first time ever late. They charged me over $50 for a late fee. That's greed, plain and simple. Time to move all my stuff out. I would most certainly look elsewhere, Public Storage is not the same anymore.

My daughter goes to college and decided to store her stuff here. Her unit has been broken into 3 times. We live thousands of miles away and all we get is an email saying our unit isn’t properly locked and that they can’t lock it for you. Tried filing a police report and was told we needed to be present to file a report. Can’t imagine there will be anything left when she starts again in August. Recommend you look somewhere else if want your stuff secured. “Unfortunately, we can’t lock your space for you. Please come to the property as soon as possible to secure your lock — and everything you’ve stored in your space.”

My storage has mice , the mice is out of control at the location 4725 N. 43rd Ave Phx,Az 85031. Stay away!!

I rented here for about six months or so. There were a lot of surface-level things that didn't bother me very much. The office was randomly closed when they were supposed to be in operating hours. There were no carts. At least not in my section. The main gate did break a couple of times causing reduced hours. The sliding door to my section was frozen shut often and had to be manually opened by the staff. Which was very problematic and it happened all the time. No contact center or any way to reach their corporate office either. The only way is by old-fashioned snail mail via their physical address on the website. One time a manager called me from their personal cell phone. Probably because there's no way to contact anyone up at the front office over the phone either. You simply had to hope someone was onsite. All that didn't make me want to cancel or relocate elsewhere. It was the staff themselves that seemed to behave improperly. Often when I came down to storage so I could organize stuff or handle business in my space. The staff would usually come down gazing into my unit. Visually inspecting and asking me if I knew about their loitering policy. Telling me to make sure that I wasn't working in the unit. This was an overreaction, because I was never doing anything wrong. It just seemed like they were either profiling me or simply hoping for the worst. After another deal came up, I got my stuff and burned rubber out of there. They were beyond annoying. I have been renting storage units off and on for almost 20 years and I never had any problems except here at this place. I would consider paying more for a better facility and management. It would be worth every penny.

Worst storage location. Have rented here and the price has just gradually gone up every month! Also if your a week behind on payment they hit you with all kinds of fees and in less then 15 days being late they’ll threaten to auction it. Other storage units won’t goto auction for over 30 days or three months! This place does not help their customers which is sad. If my vehicle didn’t go down I’d be moving to a different storage unit.

As a parent I want a place that knows how to take care of your children when they are away at college. The management at this unit are professional, kind, and dependable. They went above and beyond to take care of my daughter, they will have my business for years to come!

Rented a unit here for a month and when removing my items they were completely covered of RAT PISS AND POOP! I told management about it and she tried to keep me quiet when other customers were present.. end of it I threw everything away and never got the insurance claim they provided.. DO NOT RENT HERE

Good prices. Good location however, how could you rent a unit to someone with the insulation falling down in the unit and a wet stain on the floor. I moved in on a Saturday and moved out the very next Friday as a result. Very tacky to move someone into a unit like that. If it were not for the fact that I did not have anywhere else to put things at that moment, I would have never put my things in there!🤔

Good price. But the office is always closed when you get here & need help. Your waiting up to 5 to 10 min before anyone shows up to open. Other than that I have no problem with the storage unit. Oh and waiting on the sliding doors to open at 6 am it’s still closed.

I lost my key to my storage unit I went to find a solution with them The solution was they have one person that comes once a month and takes the locks off so I don't have access to my unit all month I have to wait for her to come back she has to do 41 public storages That's just crazy and they have no idea when she's going to be there to take the locks off could be tomorrow could be next week could be the week afterwhen she's going to be there could be tomorrow could be next week could be the week after That's just ridiculous poor management

Jesse was great! Even after being yelled at and insulted by another customer he did a superb job trying to deescalate the situation. Though that very insecure woman insulted him, he maintained his professionalism and did not allow her to put him in a bad mood. Not sure what her problem was, seemed like she was doing something she wasn't supposed to and got caught. He happily helped my friend and me, while making us laugh and keeping a smile on his face. My friend was able to get the space she needed, even though the price was kind of high Jesse’s knowledge of the property, professionalism, and wonderful customer service made it worth paying a few extra dollars!

They love to call and harass you for any changes, I've had 8 calls this week of them telling me what I NEED to do, excuse u!!! There's hardly ever anyone in apa Sivan though it says open. I waited over an hour and a half and still nobody ever showed up. Charge you an extra $10 to pay your bill over the phone. Customer service is definitely lacking.

Jesse, he was great, I like a normal last-minute customer, and I showed up right at closing. I had thought I needed to get my lock directly from him, and he explained that the lock should be in my unit waiting for me. He told me he had a prior engagement or would have been happy to stay longer. But before we parted ways, he showed me how to use the app, to open the gate, to get in the security door. I thanked him and proceeded on my way. As I got to the sliding door low and behold, he drives up behind me, tells me he could not just leave he had to make sure I was going to get to the correct spot. As we walk over to my storage and open it up the lock was not in there, so he took alittle more time out of his busy personal time and ran back in and got a new lock for me. Jesse was very nice and knowledgeable. As long as I need storage in AZ, I'll come back and see him.

I want to thank Jessie! He was great! We got there just as it closed and he took extra time and made sure my son had access and a lock on the unit. He was on his way to an appt but went the extra mile for us! If he hadn't, my son wouldn't have been able to put my granddaughters things in there or turn in his rental car. Jessie, you really came through! Thank you!!

I checked a number of storage facilities in Phoenix, and I chose Public Storage for three reasons: good prices, good condition, and good attitudes. They care for their clients. The facility on 43d is big, with enough room for large-size trucks. It looks safe and clean; the units are on the 1st floor with climate control. The location is very convenient. It is located in the central area of Phoenix, just off Grand and a few blocks from I 10. I strongly recommend this facility to people who are looking for a budget storage rental.

Okay, ya. I am 51 years old now. JUST had a birthday. YAY.. I have never in ALL my years of being on this earth experienced the customer care, professionalism, concern as I have with Ashley. Her professionalism is over the top. SO happy Public Storage has her on board, she makes my day every time I speak to her. It's something definitely different about her, I've never encountered. I even BLESS her parents for raising such a thoughtful person and bringing such a beautiful light into this dark world that shines before us. WORST customer service I have ever encountered. A member of my immediate family passed unexpectedly. When I learned of the unit and contacted this location and told them he passed, the FIRST thing they said is "well there is a balance due." No "sorry for your loss" or anything. Just that a balance is due. Now a week later they have called me asking for my dead relative. The only reason they have my phone number is because I called to tell them he passed. TWICE today they have called asking for him. I will never do business with this disgusting company.

Do not use this place!!! They have a rat infestation problem. These units are $237 a month for a AC cooled unit but you will find rats!

Sometimes they got a/c sometimes they don't. You can also turn on your Bluetooth to unlock the gates to enter to your storage unit. When the a/c blows it feels so be wonderful🥰

I want to give a good review because the space is awesome for the price, but my unit got broken into twice. I was devastated and broke into tears. Priceless, sentimental items gone like that and they didn't even care. Even the police said they go to this location often for units being broken into. I wonder if it's an inside job? They claim to have cameras, but said "it's going to take a while" when I asked for the footage. In the end, they never got the footage to me. The insurance is a joke. If you don't have receipts for everything, and a picture of yourself with the item, they don't compensate you. They didn't even offer a new lock. I had to buy another one--from them! Terrible if you want your items to be safe, and terrible customer service. They don't care about your belongings. I suggest going to CubeSmart. They actually care about their customers. I'm moving all of my items there.

Made me stand outside for 45 minutes to get my ID back after borrowing the Key for the cart in the 96 degree heat. Non apologetic and you’ll be lucky if they’re EVER in the office. Called 12 times no answer from property manager.

Unfortunately they went up on the rent as if the unit had gotten bigger and I had gotten more space. This is definitely not okay for customers. But I can't complain about the fact that it is temperature controlled. And I was happy to see that they actually did something about the rodent issue. There were two separate occasions that I was locked inside the parking lots due to me trying to organize things in my unit and didn't realize that it had gotten late. Which is something that I don't truly understand that if I'm inside why lock me in. I can understand locking a person out who hasn't gotten there on time but locking someone in and then making them have to suffer through customer service to get the gate unlocked to let you out, I don't understand that but I guess that's how storage units work I guess. It was honestly my first time getting a storage unit. So I guess now I'm well aware of the rules.

Update:: revieved a rent increase came yo offive Ashley helped by reducing my rate for 3 more months! Thank you. Julio was very helpful and he speaks Spanish He help me with my storage needs tank you Julio

Recently me and my fiancée were in need of an affordable storage unit and were very pleased to have found public storage on 43rd and camelback. Rock was very informative, very patient and with a great customer service! He not only was able to find us the right storage unit for us while also making our visit very pleasant and less stressful!
