VERY VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AT AZALEA RD LOCATION... DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ANY STARS!!!! ALSO RENT FROM ANOTHER LOCATION NEVER HAD THESE ISSUES. HOWEVER, AZALEA RD LOCATION HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! SHELLY WHO RUNS THIS LOCATION GAVE ME & MY SON THE RUN AROUND FOR MONTHS. INITIALLY SHE RENTED A UNIT TO MY SON, IT WAS TOO SMALL SO SHE MOVED HIM OUT & HE PURCHASED A LARGER UNIT. I ASKED SHELLY COULD I RENT THE ONE SHE MOVED MY SON OUT OF? SHE SAID YES BUT I NEEDED TO GO ONLINE TO RENT A UNIT FROM PUBLIC STORAGE. SHE SAID WHATEVER UNIT THEY GIVE ME SHE WILL SWITCH IT TO THE PREVIOUS ONE SHE MOVED MY SON OUT OF. I FOLLOWED HER INSTRUCTIONS & SHE DID JUST THAT. A FEW DAYS LATER I WENT BACK TO THE STORAGE BUT WAS LOCKED OUT WITH NO ACCESS. I WENT INTO THE OFFICE TO ASK WHY? SHELLY TOLD ME SHE HAD SWITCHED MY STORAGE BACK INTO MY SON'S NAME WHICH WAS NOT LEGAL BECAUSE SHE NEVER GOT EITHER OF OUR PERMISSIONS TO DO SO! SHE SAID TO ME SHE WAS SORRY AND SHE WOULD HAVE HER MANAGER FIX IT BECAUSE SHE DID NOT KNOW HOW TO. I EVEN HAVE TEXT MESSAGES FROM SHELLY SAYING IT'S ALL HER FAULT AND HOW SORRY SHE WAS ABOUT MESSING THINGS UP. WELL AFTER THAT I WENT BACK & FORTH TO AZALEA RD LOCATION TO GET IT RESOLVED FOR ABOUT 2 MONTHS EACH TIME SHE TOLD ME SHE WAS STILL WAITING ON HER MANAGER TO FIX IT. THE VERY LAST TIME I WENT UP TO THE STORAGE THE DAY BEFORE I TRIED CONTACTING PUBLIC STORAGE CORPORATE OFFICE SHELLY HAD THE AUDACITY TO CALL THE POLICE ON ME BECAUSE SHE WAS GETTING IRATE TRYING TO ARGUE WITH ME, TELLING ME I NEED TO SHUT UP & LEAVE THE OFFICE & LIE IN MY FACE TELLING ME SHE HAD MY SON'S SIGNATURE FOR MY STORAGE UNIT WHICH WAS IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE MY SON LEFT TO GO WORK IN MISSOURI THE DAY AFTER HE RENTED HIS OWN UNIT FROM SHELLY. SHE CONTINUED TO BE IRATE TOWARDS ME, STATED SHE DID NOT CARE ABOUT IT AND TRIED TO INTIMIDATE ME BY THREATENING TO CALL THE COPS. I TOLD HER PLEASE CALL THEM BECAUSE I MYSELF NEED A POLICE REPORT BECAUSE I HAVE THE EMAIL AND MY CREDIT CARD RECEIPT PAYMENT PUBLIC STORAGE INITIALLY SENT ME AND SHE HAD COMPLETEY REMOVED ME OUT OF THE SYSTEM 2 DAYS LATER AND NEVER RETURNED MY MONEY EITHER! THE POLICE ARRIVED I SHOWED THEM MY DOCUMENTS & CREDIT CARD RECEIPT, THEY SAID I COULD FILE A CIVIL SUIT WITH PUBLIC STORAGE & ALSO GAVE ME HER MANAGER'S NUMBER. THE NEXT DAY I TRIED CONTACTING PUBLIC STORAGE CORPORATE OFFICE & THEY CONNECTED ME TO CUSTOMER CARE. THE MANAGER CLINT REACHED OUT TO ME AFTER CUSTOMER CARE CONTACTED HIM. I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION TO HIM, HE SAID TO ME SHELLY HAD NEVER REACHED OUT TO HIM AND THIS WAS HIS FIRST TIME EVEN HEARING ABOUT IT. HE SAID HE WOULD FIX IT. I DROVE ALL THE WAY TO SCHILLENGER RD LOCATION TO MEET WITH CLINT, HE HAD ONE OF THE OTHER EMPLOYEES PUT ME BACK INTO THE SYSTEM AND SAID IT WAS RESOLVED. HOWEVER IT IS STILL NOT RESOLVED BECAUSE MY SON'S ACCOUNT IS STILL CONNECTED TO THAT ACCOUNT & MY UNIT WHICH CAUSED HIM TO BE UNABLE TO ACCESS HIS OWN UNIT WHICH HE HAD PAYED UP FOR 3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. I GAVE MY SON CLINT'S NUMBER HE COULD NOT REACH HIM, SO I CALLED HIM & EXPLAINED AGAIN WHAT HAPPENED, HE SAID HE DID NOT KNOW HOW THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED WHEN HE HAD HIS BEST GIRL TO FIX IT. I SAID WELL IT'S STILL NOT FULLY FIXED. HE TOLD ME HE WOULD REACH BACK OUT TO MY SON. WELL NO ONE EVER CALLED MY SON BACK. AGAIN WE WENT BACK TO AZALEA RD LOCATION WHERE ME & MY SONS'S UNITS ARE SEVERAL TIMES NO.ONE WAS EVER AT THE OFFICE. LAST WEEK WE FINALLY CAUGHT SHELLY THERE SHE SAID THEY WERE IN MEETINGS ALL WEEK. WE TOLD HER WE ARE STILL TRYING TO GET THIS RESOLVED AND PAY FOR MY SON'S UNIT. SHE LOOKED IN THEIR SYSTEM AND SAID THEY STILL HAVE MY SON CONNECTED TO MY UNIT AND HIS BILL WAS OVER $200 BECAUSE OF THE OF THE LATE FEES. SHE THEN SAID I AM SO SORRY YOU ALL HAD TO ENDURE THIS MESS ALL THESE MONTHS & THAT SHE WAS GOING TO REACH OUT TO CLINT'S MANAGER BECAUSE THIS WAS A BIG MISTAKE ON THEIR PART & WOULD CALL MY SON BACK TUESDAY NEVER CALLED BACK UNTIL TODAY ONLY TO ASK ABOUT THIS MONTHS PAYMENT, UNPROFESSIONAL & VERY UNBECOMING WILL BE DEALT WITH ACCORDINGLY!!!!!

5 stars for sure!!! No complaints, and many compliments to the receptionist. I have spoken to her a few times and she always displays a happy attitude and genuine willingness to be helpful. I also noticed whenever I visit the property it is always clean and the price isn’t bad either. Definitely a wise choice if you are looking for storage units!

Everything was excellent I finally moved in on 2/7/2025 I did my online deposit on 1/7/2025 all details & abouts on website was excellent & exactly the same on the real site 2/7/2025 was my first day meeting MS.SHELLEY in person She was amazing she was spectacular she was really nice & helpful So I will like to add 5 more⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I will recommend everybody to use her property for the #1 TOP STORAGE THANK YOU MS SHELLEY FOR EVERYTHING

I had problems completing my rental on line. Kristie was amazing. She tried to help me do it on line and it just was not working. So I went into the office on Government Blvd. She helped me do everything I needed to do. She gave me info on where the Unit was, how to get in the gate, how to get cable tie off to get in the unit, how NOT to break the key off in the lock. Very valuable information. She always had a smile and was very kind and patient with with me. Kristie thank you so very much.

Kristie provided great customer service. Our storage was about to be auction off but we paid it at the last minute (2 days before). After paying our bill and obtaining a new lock for security she followed us over to the location so that my husband and I could put our new lock on. Thank you Kristie you're awesome.

I lost my key to my unit. Kristie called me after I left a message and got me taken care of. I only had to buy a new lock and sign a release. Kristie was so pleasant and professional.

This place is understanding if u miss a payment, and allows you to make a late payment the staff who calls regarding late payments is very friendly and professional. Public storage is a good place to store stuff at.

I gotten my storage back in January the ppl was very nice and help me choose a great space for my two bedroom cause it was my first storage space and I wasn’t sure what to get but I do recommend a storage with climate control if you have nice stuff like me cause it helps a lot I pick my stuff up Friday and it’s April my stuff was still the same no bugs no leaks I would always come back to this storage cause of kristie great customer service and for recommending my storage space 🙌🏽🧡

Public Storage itself is great. This exact location on Azalea though.. is a nightmare. It is basically on a 75 degree incline and so many trucks have gotten stuck that there is actual missing chunks of asphalt from their tail gates. There is no sign stating this so they only way to find out is to get stuck. Hands down the absolute worst place to have a storage unit. Supposedly if you come from the opposite of Cottage Hill it’s easier to go in at an angle, but still there is no sign or guidance or anything directing the safest way to get up the hill with a truck or a trailer. I personally had my moving company get stuck and we had to wait over an hour for a tow. Luckily Mobile PD was there to help guide traffic but seriously…
