PLEASE DONT LEAVE YOUR Valuables here. This place has no security. Multiple units have been broken into. Havent been there a whole month and already had items stolen.

I really don't like any of the Public Storages, because they're not there only to store your things but to tack on so many Fees they make it almost impossible for you to ever get your personal belongings back. So your things are auctioned off!! They have proven time & time again they're all about the money. So BEWARE!!

I just moved out because of rate increase.
I believe this being a national chain ,and you know the bottom dollar is their concern not us people, that they enticed me in with the $43 dollars a month for the 5X5 then at the 6 month mark upped the rent $17 to $60. I believe this is their unspoken policy.
I see this as their racket and lack of integrity.
So take that into your consideration.

Came today to finish my reservations two young ladies helped me out and were very kind and understanding and guided me through the process and were very explanatory they didn’t make me feel dumb and answered all my questions . The paperwork didn’t take long less than 10 mins. To look at the rental took another 10 and to get everything explained was another ten .

Alicia and Tonya at the Oporto Madrid location were especially helpful when I went in person to find a storage unit. They looked at availability for another location nearby and offered helpful suggestions to save time and money on the units. They were friendly and personable. Would definitely recommend this location.
I kept household goods at this location for 8 months. When I went to empty the unit, my King mattress had a clear water damage line. I filed a claim and the insurance company ran me in circles and eventually quit responding.
They wanted me to determine where the water came from and pictures of the current condition. I sent them my supporting documentation showing where I had already vacated the unit as well as pictures.
Public storage and their affiliates are crooks. Do not risk having your possessions damaged as they will do nothing to help you out.
To be clear, the front office staff was friendly and tried to help but ultimately nothing was done.
