Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 14751 SW 29th St, Miramar, FL

We came in this Monday and was helped by a gentleman from Boston. He was amazing! He helped us get into a unit, was easy to talk to and showed us around! If you’re looking for a friendly storage place come here !

More break ins (burglary and theft yesterday) !!!I 10/29/2024. Another break in this time on 3rd floor because public storage allows anyone to gain access with the online reservation system they are complicit in the burglary because all of the crimes are taking place by the misuse of the online reservation system. was advised by Scott that this facility is inadated with after hour felony burglaries where all of your property is in great jepordy of theft. Apparently any person can reserve a unit over the Internet and have access the alarm goes hours after the staff has left for the day , so bad people reserve a unit on the Internet have a code or give the code away and they camp inside and prop the interior "security doors" open. Then they steal your property. They have no overnight security and no security from 5pm to 9pm to make sure everyone is out of the building. If you don't believe me do a public records request with Miramar police department or ask anyone from Apollo rehabilitation center next building over . I am a Chinese national person and we don't steal Scott did they have many problems with the black people. They steal he told us go some places else. This problem can be fix by motion sensor alarms on floors and stairwell and doors turn on at 8pm.turn alarm on at 8pm Hite security guard to check property after hour have cameras monitor by ADT theyn watch people break in. We will go to place that is serious about security thank you.

A+service. Continues to be well run, organized, clean and tidy. Last few years has been a big step up. This place is expensive as all storage is but is convenient and safe - but the staff is the key in this biz - Jen is always on site. Trying to work with corporate on rent but want to be a customer for years to come.

I have to change my review from 5 stars to 1 star, which is a shame, because Jen has been kind and helpful. This is no fault of Jen. But today the man working the office interrogated me and said he suspected me stealing my own things. As I was going out, he was coming in. He followed me outside, and demanded that I tell him my storage unit number. The hostility of his tone and attitude was not deserving of an answer. I told him I didn't know it and that I was going to go load my car. He kept interrogating me, he would not allow me to leave. I never needed to memorize my storage unit number. I just knew where to find it after exiting the elevator. He said he suspected I was stealing things. I'm still scratching my head trying to think what made him suspicious of me. I asked him why he kept acting like that and he said it was part of his job. Yet, I've never seen him interrogating anyone else who comes and goes, let alone, follow another customer outside. I'm wondering if there was a recent break-in that put him on edge. So without a clear explanation, I'm not discarding the "r-cism" word as a possible, which would be a first for me. Being suspected of stealing is disrespectful and it's no way to treat a customer. ------------ ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW: Jen welcomed me, gave me a walk-through, and answered all my questions. She was polite, patient, and professional. The place is just what I expect from a storage space. I had access to the trolleys I needed. Everything seems well kept. They have a variety of moving supplies for sale. I bought the lock I needed and it wasn't crazy expensive.

BEWARE!!! I’ve had a unit here for almost five plus years before this new property manager started working here and I’ve never had any issues till now. I set up an appointment with jessica at the front desk for a meeting about my unit and she did not bother to show or give me a call saying she couldn’t attend. Mind you I took off an entire day of work to go in person. Finally after showing up on a random day she conveniently was there and decided to finally do her job (somewhat). I proceeded to ask her how come she hasn’t responded to any of my voicemails about my account on file.. she gave me HORRIBLE, NASTY and very DISRESPECTFUL comments while smirking and joking the entire time I’m trying to tell her something about my account, she’s taking it as a joke not even paying attention to me just typing and making phone calls all at the same time..then proceeds to give me FALSE INFORMATION which in that case I had to spend hours on the phone handling the situation with the Coorporate office for them to finally resolve the situation almost 3 hours later. I never not once had any of these issues with the previous PM. And did I forget to mention Jess loves to charge false fees to your account to try and play with your unit? Not my best experience with the present property manager.

What an awful experience today at this location. I had RSVP today with the lady here, but after witnessing the horrible customer service she gave to the couple was arrogant & rude. I decided to take my business to Life Storage. I do not recommend this storage facility

Today on Saturday 6/29/24 I arrived and Jen was working alone; She remained very professional, pleasant, courteous and patient with a very busy packed office. My unit was not the right size and Jen resolved my issue. I thank her for everything that she has done if it were not for her, I believe the situation would been very different for me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great place to store your belongings. Very clean secure and well maintained building. Easy move in and out. The best part is management is a pleasure to work with. Jenn was great from checking in to moving out.

Jen has been a horrible addition to this property since Anthony left. My first incident with her, she made promises that I could get fees removed from my account cause she’s seen it happen for someone else and when she was not competent enough to deliver on that promise she says it’s policy unfortunately. Well I was not willing to accept that and she ended up making calls to a more experienced manager at another property to resolve the issue. Then after that whole stressful ordeal, she had the audacity to beg me to leave a positive review to which I declined but decided not to leave any review to give her a break. Now, I have yet another issue where PS removes their lock once I make payment on my account and then I receive an automated email from PUBLIC STORAGE stating I need to come secure my unit. I told her this and yet again I was met with rudeness and being cut off while talking to let me know that this is their policy and they don’t remove locks. LIE. But when she doesn’t know anything she says it’s “policy”. She also went as far as stating that’s why the previous manager (Anthony) is not there because of the policy not being followed. I have never seen someone so TACKY. Anthony had been there for years and to minimize his integrity in such a way because of her lack of competence is DISGUSTING.

Jen was very helpful completing my move in and vacating process, I was satisfied with attention. In the future I will consider coming back as a customer again.

I moved into my unit on 9/30/23; Anthony was helpful with during the 8 years of his service. I needed to down size for a smaller unit and Jen was very pleasant with providing excellent care. Un desastre sede de Miramar ,las puertas están dañadas y nunca las arreglan causando incomodidad para realizar los cargues o descargues , el AAcond muchas veces se daña y no lo arreglan , no renten aquí la atención es mala y funciona mal , no es digna de recomendarlo

Have been with public storage since 2017. Always had a beautiful and professional experience with the Manager Anthony. The new Manager Jen is a super person. Shes very helpful and kind. She is a consummate professional!!

Jen was amazing and super helpful. She explained step by step the account closing policies and all while having several other patrons waiting for assistance. She’s the hardest working property manager I’ve seen there and always up keeping the property. We have been by several times and she’s always sanitizing and maintaining.

Jen has been nothing but conflictive and disrespectful with us. She has given us attitude and responded in immature ways everyday we have had to deal with her, not just to us but with other costumers as well. We are not interested in treating business with her from now on. She was understandably busy and overwhelmed on Saturday Oct 28th when we were there to move from one storgae space to another, and my father was patient until she began treating him poorly because she was overwhelmed with the amount of people at the office, something that does not pertain to us or other costumers. She told him to go upstairs to the new unit and wait for her to hand him the unit. When he went upstairs the lock and a SINGLE key to the unit where on the ground. My father waited for over 40min and she didn't show. As his time is just as valuable as the next person's he locked the unit and left. Then she calls him on Sunday early morning, from the get go with an accusatory tone, talking about how she has to charge us for the lock and saying things like "I am speaking  do not interrupt me". Again uncalled for. She then excuses HER mistake with the lock for being busy and not having time to go upstairs. To which Jen and I had a second discussion about on that Monday Oct 30th, I stated to her that it is not our business nor our fault that this place is understaffed and she is so obviously unfit to do her job and directly deal with costumers. She then proceeded to once again talk back and rudely walking away, when her argument was invalid. That same monday she also, I may add At 9:29am( they open at 9:30), stated that as a COURTESY she was going to help us get into our unit, when it was HER system the one presenting errors, again with a unnecessary attitude tone demeanor etc. We had always treated with Anthony before he was never disrespectful he actually did his job, and did it well. So unless we are dealing with a supervisor alongside, we have no interest of doing any business with Jen.

I’ve been a customer of public storage Miramar for almost 5 years. This is a great location and the service is awesome. Anthony helped every step of the way. He was very knowledgeable of his job and the company and it gave me confidence to chose this location as my storage space.

Terrible esta compañia, tienen 1 sola persona atendiendo todo el lugar, y ademas una persona con poco entrenamiento, es super agresiva en su manera de actuar y responder las inquietudes de los clientes. No tienen servicio de baño, siempre está o dañado o cerrado. En el primer piso, siempre mantienen la tempertura a 80 grados eso es absurdo cuando estamos en Florida y ademas cuando en el contrato te prometen que es climatizado. Despues de 6 meses de contrato te suben el precio a la cantidad que les antoja y de una manera absurda. Se supone cierran a las 9pm, pero a las 8:20 ya los codigos dejan de funcionar.

Really like this Public Storage. Always nice and clean and a cart is always available (were in other places are always missing). The guy at front, Anthony, always above and beyond helping you with anything you need. Very polite and always mindful of you as a person not as another number costumer that comes up. Times I had to go in for something other costumers see and greet him very joyfully which means he is always there to help out!!

This public storage is great! Anthony who works there will guide you through the check in process. Very helpful and fast!

GO SOMEPLACE ELSE. No matter the time or day you come there is never any carts to move. The “office” is not helpful and rude. You pay over 200$ a month to not even have carts, it’s ridiculous there is ONE cart for an entire building. The positive reviews are not real, i promise you.

The unit we rented was invaded for rats and we lost important part of our affective and emotional memories. Orange Door, the insurance company, just provide coverage until $250 for the losses subject a $100 deductible.

This is the third time we had to use this facility and all three time Anthony was soo helpful and wonderful the place is clean and I would definitely recommend anyone looking for Great storage and great service to come here.

What makes good storage great is not the facility, it's who's running it. And the property manager in this location, Anthony, is fantastic. Always willing and available to be of assistance, and I don't mean just help, he *facilitates*. Need a cart during busy hours? He'll track one down for you. Need a ladder for your stuff? He'll bring it over. You'll never feel like no one is paying attention to you, and you'll never get blown off when Anthony is around. Just be reasonable because the man is running the whole show singlehandedly, it seems. On weekends, he's being dispatched to another facility for a few hours in the middle of the day, so time your visit, or adjust your requests for assistance, accordingly. We stayed at this facility because of Anthony, even though we moved further away. When you find good service, you're less inclined to switch.

Aunque no estoy contenta con el reciente incremento de la renta, no puedo negar que el sitio es muy limpio, bien iluminado y fresco (a/c). Lo que más me agradó es el trato amable de su manager, Anthony, quien siempre está dispuesto a escucharme y ayudarme con algún problema que se me haya presentado.

I am so glad I chose this storage. It's clean, well maintained, and secure. The staff is amazing as well, particularly Anthony. He is professional and service-oriented. I always feel comfortable going to him if I need help or have a question about something. If I have a problem, he always solves it. He is always willing to assist and does his job without making you feel like you're just one more customer.

I am absolutely furious. They closed, so I couldn't get no further than the elevator doors inside the building which was crazy. Why would you even let me in and wouldn't let me go to the second floor. The elevators were programmed to quit working at a certain hour. Dummies... Food for thought; shut the whole building down if it's closed. That's like giving me access to the cafeteria but there's no food in it.
