Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 875 East Arques Ave, Sunnyvale, CA

I’ve been renting at this location for 4+years. I’ve recently had to change units due to rate increases but Ashley and Nene made this process so easy! They were so helpful! They went above and beyond to make the process seamless. Thank you ladies!!

This is our third unit at Public Storage and feel that the service and environment provided is first rate. The climate control is very important to our needs on the dust free environment is a definite plus. People a joy to work with.

As far as I know, after getting retired, she will look for a good part time job. I do believe that, with her love of people and animals, she will be good in any work place she finds. Excellent! This property gets my highest marks because of off-the-charts outstanding customer service--thanks primarily to Toby, who has unfortunately (for us) retired, but she leaves a legacy of outstanding customer service--Hannah is currently doing an outstanding job. Toby imparted to the current staff the importance of knowing the property and the business inside and out and making a point of understanding and delivering on what each customer needs. Toby has always gone above and beyond to take care of people and to ensure that the property looks great--and so does the current team. It's always clean and safe, no matter what time I go. Thank you for being the best PS facility I've ever used!

This facility has been very safe and clean. It has employed employees that are great in greeting the public as well working! I'm always greeted with a pleasant smile😊. I've dealt with a wonderful personnel by the name of (Tobi) whom has helped me over the years with any questions I may have. I've rated this storage facility with five⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐'s for these various reasons. If anyone is looking for a storage place as such, well this is definitely the place!

Why even have the carts available if you're going to lock them up so customers cannot use them during open hours??

I like the Public Storage location at 875 E Arques, Sunnyvale, because it delivers what it promises: a clean, secure place where they respect me and my goods. Toby is the manager, and she always has a smile and a strong sense of customer satisfaction.

I'm updating my review AGAIN because this Public Storage location deserves it. We have 11 units there, where we house furniture for vetted and documented refugees resettling in the area. We need safety, security, a clean environment and management that understands our mission. The Public Storage at 875 E. Arques, Sunnyvale, is led by Toby, and she is great. We used to call the location "Public Storage," but now we call it "Toby's" because she makes it special. Knowing we collect, store and distribute furniture, she connects us with clients and friends who want to donate furniture. There is often a client in distress who needs quick liquidation of the items in storage there, and often there's a match with refugee needs. We love Toby, and going to "Toby's." ------ I'm updating this review on 9/15 from 3 months ago because my views of this Public Storage facility and its leadership have only grown with experience. I started out with one unit, then added another, and I'm about to add my 6th, all in support of a charitable organization that needs space to hold furniture and housewares for refugees who have been invited in to the USA. My team uses this space to house, vet and distribute items for newly arrived refugees, and we are on the premises pretty much every day, 7 days a week. Sometimes twice a day! The manager, Toby, is very sincere, hard-working and focused on creating the most secure, clean and hospitable environment possible in the storage business. My whole team appreciates her attitude, work ethic and commitment to taking care of "our" stuff as if it were hers. Here's what I said 3 months ago, and it's even more true today: This location has the best security, most uplifting/well-lit facilities and excellent management with Toby leading the front office. I looked at many Public Storage locations and many competitors because I was looking for space for a charitable organization's goods. Toby gave me excellent advice, listened well to my needs and ultimately found a space that was perfect. My colleagues will feel comfortable going to our shared space knowing it's safe, under camera watch and with excellent security protocols. Remember to quickly get in the elevator with access to only the floor you're allowed within the number of seconds allowed. That's not a complaint; it's a compliment, because security is Job #1 at this location. Toby rocks!

It was easy axis in & out🤓 " Toby "was very friendly n informational helpful I recommend to anyone who is looking for a storage!!🤓🤓. It's very clean easy parking!!! I surely RECOMMEND !!! Hours are great !! As u see I rated 5 stars!! I know u be as HAPPY as I am🤓🤓🤓

When renting my storage from Public Storage I asked for a climate controlled until. When I looked at the unit it was early morning so it was still cool outside. But when I moved in my property it was afternoon and the third floor was very hot it was actually cooler outside then inside. So I when to the office and talked with the the acting manager Serena about the temperature on the third floor. She inform me that she would put in a work order for the climate control system but in so many words she said not to hold my breath about it being fixed. So after two weeks and temperature on the third floor being as high as 89 to 90 degrees according to the thermostat on the third floor climate control systems wall and it being so hot you couldn't work in your storage unit for very long. After two weeks I was concerned about my property being in such heat I started moving my property out. My unit was paid for the month of July 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020 and because it was paid for until the end of the month I was not going to vacate until then. But I received a notice from public storage saying that they took it upon themselves to vacate my unit when it was paid up until the end of the month. So that they could rent my unit and double dip and make more money off of my unit that was paid for. (See pictures for climate control problem and dirty filters) The insurance that they sell you is worthless because unless your property is itemized there insurance is not going to cover your property lose because you could say you had a painting worth a million dollars in your property and no way will insurance cover your property. Also I spoke with the acting manager about the two double doors on the first floor because I saw some homeless people just pull the doors open with no code what so ever and I know from public storage staff member Toby that a unit's lock was drill out and the unit owner's property was stolen. But again to the day I moved out the doors are still broken!!!!

Facility left unlocked and unsecure. Property manager was not responding and did not appear to be on the property. Would definitely not recommend storing anything here.

Spoke to Jennifer at 875 E Arques, Sunnyvale. I had a stroke and Jennifer was already working for 3 locations; doing the jobs of three because storage employees were out for the holiday. Jennifer worked like a wizard, fast efficient and seasoned. But when it was my turn, she adjusted her pace down and gave excellent help! Amazing for one being overworked, thank you Jennifer * !

Thank you Toby for providing exemplary customer service when I recently needed to moved my stuff into a new unit. Toby went above and beyond to make this experience as easy as possible. I had actually considered looking for a new storage facility, but recently had noticed a big improvement in the way this facility was being maintained. Toby told me about some of the changes she had made and I was really impressed, so decided to stay with Public Storage. It is rare to see someone today who is as committed to doing a good job and making things better as Toby is. Thank you again for all your help!

My first time at a storage facility i must say was so pleasant. Especially getting all the information i needed plus more from a young lady named Destiny. She gave me much more help then i thought I needed and made my visit a great one. I highly recommend this place and having her help with any questions or concerns you might have. Thank you Destiny for all your help, you definitely need a raise for all the work you put into making sure your customers have a wonderful experience and making them feel comfortable.

Toby was exceptional and assisted me with selecting the right size unit for my items. She was professional, knowledgeable and processed my request quickly. I would highly recommend this location to anyone who wants a climate controlled unit with easy access.

The facility is immaculate and clean. I have not moved into my storage unit yet, but I did sign a rental agreement with Toby Jerome, who was extremely professional and courteous. She is one of the best customer service representatives I have ever encountered, and I have used rental services in many different industries. Highly recommended.

Clean and secure facility, high-ceiling units, and Toby was a pleasure to work with -- very welcoming and knowledgeable! Also, longer storage access on weekends than most other facilities around there.

When the facility where our unit is located went to kiosk payment and no staffing, we started to visit this location to find a human being to handle rent payments and provide information. We found Toby. She exemplifies good customer service and is the best representative Public Storage could have. Her knowledge of the business is evident. Whether it's a question or a problem, Toby does whatever she can to provide an answer or resolution herself instead of simply saying, "Call customer service."
