Eden at emeryville was so helpful
I had to go into the public storage office to request my lock to be cut. I must say that Eden provided excellent customer service and had a pleasant attitude. The guy in the office was knowledgeable as well and seems to be a fine employee. Thanks for the fast and courteous service!! Kudos!!

I don't even need storage anymore but I keep mine at pinole public storage for one reason: JESSICA THE PROPERTY MANAGER! SHE IS AMAZING! I love going to storage and seeing her there she is so refreshing and such a pleasure to deal with. She always keeps me updated on things going on with the storage and always reminds me to have my payment in before it is late. I refuse to go in on her days off because she is the only one that I feel is capable of doing everything right. She should serve as an example to how other managers should strive to be. The property is always well kept and I always feel safe there. I want to thank Jessica for all her hard work !
Stacy is truly a delight to work with. We set up my storage account over the phone within minutes. She answered all my questions regarding insurance and rental costs. And we laughed a lot!!

Chris at Public storage was wonderful. He showed us several places and we finally settled on one that we thought would be big enough for what we had to store. He was friendly, courteous and took the time to help us find what will work. He also helped us do the paperwork and answered questions that we all asked.
I came to this Public Storage location looking to rent a unit, after reviewing their info online. Jessica took the time to walk over across multiple buildings to show me their available units, and was courteous, polite and professional. I inquired about renting a climate-controlled unit, and she clearly explained that they do not offer this at this location, as well as the usual temperature variations and other concerns with their outside/drive-up units. This was tremendously helpful, as my plan was to store my cherished piano for a period of time, which would not do well in those circumstances. She took the time to contact a neighboring Public Storage location at my request to inquire about comparable units, asked the staff member there to accommodate my visit within a few minutes, and forwarded the reservation details to Davonte at the other location in El Sobrante. While this may merely sound like regular business operations/practices, I can assure you this level of service is NOT what I have encountered at other storage facilities, which I have used extensively given my multiple moves and use of storage facilities over the years. Many thanks to Jessica and everyone at Public Storage for being awesome! :)

Didn't experience any issues with the place while there, however I moved my things out a day late due to the death of my son. There was a fee because I moved out a day late I reached out to customer service when I should've in fact just went to the office. Today I received a call from Jessica who went ahead and took care of my account, she expressed she had no knowledge of what had took place. The moral of the story is in person conversations may go places that customer service phones won't reach. Thanks again Jessica

Jessica, the manager is fantastic! However, this business is very expensive and prices keep increasing. Be sure to read the fine print as while their specials are great, once over the cost increases exponentially. If it wasn't for Jessica I would be moving my stuff out asap but she took the initiative to roll back the last price increase that recently went into effect.

I got a rental increase and I came into the office and I was told that since the request to get the increase delayed did not get approved. Jessica was able to get me into a smaller space for a better rate. I recommend everyone to talk to Jessica.
There was a rent increase and I left Jessica a message about it. She called me back the same day and was actually able to delay the rent increase because she saw I had only had the unit for 3 months! Although the idea that the rent can be increased at any time is sort of scammy from the parent company, Jessica was extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you!
Reserving a unit was a quick and easy process. I wasn’t sure about the size I needed and when I got to the storage unit I realized the one I reserved was too small. Bri helped me out with finding the perfect size and location I needed. She was patient with showing multiple units, which I really appreciated. Bri really made this a pleasant experience. Took us more than 1/2 hour to get the lock mechinisim to accept the lock. At 8:00 pm of course no one to help. Called tues. Absolutely no help to remedy the situation. I am a 72 year old disabled woman who could not make this work. Took 2 men 1/2 hour to get it to shut. WOULD NOT REC'D THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

I always see Jessica cleaning the property and keeping it looking nice and clean. She saved me a lot of money by helping me down sizing to a smaller unit.
This is not on the location. But Corporate keeps raising rates so much so that a 10 X 10 ft costs over $500. No value for customer loyalty. The longer you stay the more they increase the rates. I am vacating asap and buying a storage shed from Home Depot. Should have done that a long time ago. Very greedy corporate operation.

I found a unit that I needed quite easily and for a good price. The two ladies both named jessica in the office were very nice and helped me with the process. Very clean lot and easy parking!
I have mostly had a good experience here. Recently I needed to switch units because they raised the rent, and Jamayo was friendly and helpful for that process.
I may cancel if they raise the rent again, though I don't know what is typical for storage units in the area. I was paying 160/mo with insurance for a 10x10, which they were raising to 230/mo or something, and moved to a 5x15 for 140 or something (I don't have the exact numbers in front of me). I haven't noticed tweakers on the property like some reviewers have mentioned.

Felt the need to call out the great customer service here. I spoke to Jessica who made the online paperwork so easy. I had issues with my account and talked to Justine who walked me through everything I needed. Everyone here is very helpful and nice!
The property manager and the whole management is terrible… I can’t find words to describe how bad that experience was!
Property manager is extremely disrespectful.. the whole customer service was juts bad! The unit we had a reservation for had a dead mouse in it!
For the Public:
Rates spike up within the first few months, and will continue to rise until you “move units” by reserving another storage space online.
I’ve been a consecutive Public Storage client for 5+ years and continue to have to do the absolute most, just to obtain the prices I originally signed up for. Avoid Public Storage at all costs.
For Public Storage:
Jessica is the absolute worst manager.
She’s never in the office during daytime hours.
She never picks up the phone
She does not respond to voicemails.
What is the purpose of her position if she doesn’t do anything a customer service representative, let alone a manager is expected to do?
You might as well keep as electronic kiosk at the front and save the hourly wage. At least this way we might actually receive some assistance when we need it.

This location rapidly raises the rates and seem to have a really bad problem with random ppl on the property. Caught a old man going threw my stuff and even taking stuff as I was trying g to move my stuff out.. luckily I was recording and caught him on video but am pretty sure he took some stuff. Location has cameras but that don’t seem to help stop the tweakers from getting on the property. Idk even how that old man got on the property I just know I got him on video. I’ll be reporting it as soon as the location is open for buisness today. Ohh also this location opens a lot later in the morning than other locations.

Just got the unit and can’t get in. The gates are not working they come to let me in then trying to leave I got locked in. They said the would be fixed the next day. But no. This is not good. So many people were there upset as well. But the young lady there did do what she could. She did a good job trying
