Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 7304 Tussing Rd, Reynoldsburg, OH

I’m still trying to wrap my head around how I got here. All I wanted was to pick up some items from my storage to start on a balloon garland project. But when I arrived, I found my storage lock missing, and my unit completely emptied. At first, I assumed I might have made a mistake—maybe I had the wrong unit or was at the wrong facility. It was dark, and I was on the phone with my friend Charmaine, but unfortunately, I was in the right place after all. Inside that unit was everything: business decor, classroom supplies, Christmas decorations, items I’d started collecting last year for Micah’s graduation party, even some of my irreplaceable photos and other personal belongings. I reached out to a live agent, who confirmed my account was current but advised me to contact the police, as it seemed like a break-in. When I called the customer service number the following morning, they reiterated that I needed to file a police report and suggested I do so in person at the storage facility. When I arrived, Jen, the staff member on duty, was less than helpful. She insisted I provide photos of my empty unit—despite customer service having emailed her that I was coming. So, I took the pictures myself, all the while on the phone with my dad, who questioned whether it was even a break-in. He urged me to ask if my unit might have been mistakenly auctioned off. Jen's response? “I don’t know; I wasn’t here.” After I returned with the photos, Jen briefly stopped speaking with another person when I walked in. I asked her about this, but she acted confused. Ultimately, she handed me my insurance information and sent me on my way, telling me to proceed with the police report. Then, ten minutes after I left, Amy, another employee, called with an apology. I tried to reassure her, saying I understood that break-ins happen. But she told me this wasn’t a break-in at all—instead, my unit had been mistakenly auctioned. Even worse, the buyer refused to return my belongings. Amy mentioned he might have some photos or sentimental items, but she couldn’t be certain they were mine. Amy did say the legal team will be contacting me, but she never said I’ll be recieving a move out email.

This place is very bad. The road is filled with potholes. They used to be Simply Self Storage. But have been bought by Public Storage. Since then, they have been jacking the price up and changed the policy.

Would recommend this storage facility to anyone! -- UPDATING MY REVIEW -- WAS a nice rental experience until..... What USED to be Simply Self Storage is now.... Public Storage. Sylvia was fired. Not sure if Danielle is still there. The reason I don't know? They evicted all us tenants who had storage space there. Every single one. Gave everyone 30 days notice to leave. Rather unprofessional the way it was done. And now, almost a year later, the ENTIRE LOT still sits empty. Great business model. Save your money and your time. Go somewhere else rather than here. Thank me later.

My husband rented a unit for his tools and spot to store his work trailer. From the beginning, the staff has been wonderful. Today, Danielle (staff member) went above and beyond to help us. We came 20 min prior to closing and she was patient and got us the garaging spot needed for my husband trailer. She was very efficient and knowledgeable and went the extra mile. The unit was nice and clean and perfect space for what we needed. I appreciate the entire staff at simply storage and would recommend it to anyone.

My unit rate increased 35% from one month to the next! That's how they treat their customers, not that price is everything, but that's a bit steep. Shop around, there are better places than this.

I saw this facility on storage treasures and had done business here a couple months ago. I didn't hesitate to put $ at this facility. If the people there are on their phones they don't hide how annoyed they are when they have to do their job. Over priced when it took forever to clean spiders and bugs off our items when removing them from the ever increasing prices with no seeming reasons
