Needed a storage space and this location had good Halloween promos. James was super helpful and nice, he made registration process very easy.
A couple weeks ago, my storage locker was raided and many items were stolen. The thief was able to get in via a code (didn't even needed to break into the facility!) They then ripped the latch off the door with minimal tooling (picture attached that shows that they didn't need to even damage the lock and instead just went for the latch mechanism). The person working at the facility was helpful and gave me the number of a manager to call. However, I've called the manager for 2 weeks in a row and left 2 messages without a single reply.
Edit: I've gotten a call back from the manager. She was able to explain their security protocols and took feedback on issues with the latch. I was able to get an empathetic apology for the delay on getting a response and a promise to improve their customer service processes.
If you need storage, this is a wonderful place. James consistently gets an A+ from us. Extremely helpful and someone who cares about the customer also for the price. It’s so centrally located to the east side. Consistently they get a five star rating from our family we have two units here and have had them for five years.
James is helpful when I arrived there and asked for some spaces to get an idea of how much I need. He is willing to take me around and introduce how to reserve online and get a deal. Great experience!
They were very helpful. I realized half way moving in that i need a bigger storage. Not only they found a bigger storage beside my current storage for easy moving, they also gave me a really good deal on it considering the last minute change. I'm very thankful for their accommodating and friendly attitude. Moving things are very stressful as it is, they made it easier than it could be.

Edit to Add: Looked at my account and now they are saying I owe $150 plus an extra $15 for insurance. I moved out at the beginning of July and they are still trying to charge me for something I’m not using or even have access to anymore. What a joke and a scam. I’m not paying that.
Unfortunately I’ve had a horrible experience with Public Storage as they are forcing me to pay $86 for no reason. First they jacked up the rent from $74 to $101. I scheduled to move out on June 30th but needed a couple extra days so I went on the app to extend it with no issue. I’m moved out by the 5th but I get a call saying I still have an “outstanding balance” What? Why? I’ve contacted customer service to try to get it deleted and they are saying I have to pay it and I’m not “eligible for refunds per the contract” this is definitely a scam. That is the first main issue. Second of all the place could use lights that don’t turn off every minute. There are no lights in the storage unit itself. Impossible to organize the storage unit when it’s dark and I have to walk out to “turn on the sensor light” No door props or carts available, so if you are carrying something heavy, oh well. I’m glad to be done but I refuse to let public storage scam me of more money.

Have used them over the last 18 months during our relocation and remodel. Scott (the Property Manager) is polite, reliable, and professional. He helped us as we sized up and down our storage needs. Always did exactly what he said he would and always followed through.
Tip: Check their website for special deals and discounts. Reserve there, then go into the office. The web specials are sometimes cheaper than what is available retail at the location.

I’ve never had a storage unit before, and Scott made the process seem easy (and was welcoming, kind, and professional along the way). The unit was clean and ready to go.
Update:
I ended my contract at this Public Storage before ever moving anything into the unit. Upon visiting the (empty) unit a few days before my stuff was to be moved in, I noticed evidence of moisture (water stains on wood and walls) and strong musty smell inside the unit. I instead opted to store my household belongings at a climate-controlled unit at a different Public Storage facility nearby (116th Ave, Kirkland), where there was no evidence of moisture or musty smell.

The facility was clean and seems very secure. Scott was awesome to work with and made renting a unit a breeze. He showed me two different sized units, I chose one of them, and we completed all required 'paperwork' electronically within just a few minutes. Couldn't have been any easier!
I’ve been renting from Scott for over a year now and whenever I’ve needed him, he’s available. Whether it be by phone or email or even in-person at the office. Luckily, I haven’t needed him very often since the facility is great and self-sufficient. Clean. Gates always work. Carts easy to find. Easy to use.

All I can say is that my faith in humanity is renewed and that there are still good people out there that care and that provide excellent customer service. That has been my experience here with Scott at his Public Storage facility here in Kirkland. Have had units here for years and he has always been so kind and helpful and willing to work with me whenever I needed something.

I've been at this location for over twenty years now and it"s by far my favorite location with it being centralized on the Eastside. This particular Public Storage also happens to be about a half block south of the Kirkland motor pool so it's not uncommon to see four or five police vehicles within a half an hour driving past leaving me to surmise that there is at less chance of theft. Scott is super easy to get along with and has always been accommodating, helpful and considerate.
