I wish I could give 0 stars. This place is AWFUL! We were in the process of selling / buying, so stored a lot of our belongings here for a few months- when we went back to start bringing things to our new home.. our unit was INFESTED with GERMAN COCKROACHES! When we brought this to the attn of Public Storage their response was - you signed a contact stating you are liable for damages. They did NOTHING to help us stating they were “unaware” of the roaches. When we said- now you are aware, so what will you do- they said NOTHING! We lost SO MUCH of our belongings because we were scared to bring our stuff to our new house- our kids toys.. furniture.. so much $$$ down the drain. When we got all our stuff out to bring to the dump - the unit across was also removing all their stuff FOR THE SAME REASON.
GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. This has been such an awful experience, we lost so much - money & our belongings.

Currently, I’m going through a hardship and had fallen behind on a couple payments. Most companies tend to treat you as if you’re some kind of parasite once you fall behind. I had the pleasure repeatedly of speaking with Miss Terry. Miss Terry was very kind and very gracious and extremely informative. She has vast knowledge on everything that you can do to legally put yourself in a better position to make your payments on time. Such a comforting soul when I felt frustrated with my situation she provided insight to how I can set myself up for success, making my payments on time. No I do not know this woman from a canna paint. But I will say this, after five minutes of speaking with her, it felt as if she’s known me all my life, such a nice hearted person a rare breed these days! I think Miss Terry is an invaluable asset to Public storage. Her intelligence about this business and compassion in my opinion is unmatched and believe me I have multiple storage units and had to deal with multiple storage unit representatives I just like to say, hands-down, she is the best! if you’re lucky enough to meet this woman be kind because that’s all all the energy that she Exudes! Yes the lady at the desk was very rude. First she called me asking if I was still going to make it their. They close at 5 I had approximate time. Then when I get their she presses that if you don’t download the app you cannot get into the gate. I explained my phone wasn’t the best. When questioning about this she didn’t give me a direct reason and slammed my ID on the table. Rather go somewhere else! I did

Had my belongings in there for 10 months and what a disappointment!!! Just went to check on things the other day when I discovered there were rats living in my things, paid insurance just in case and they told me I was covered for $250 dollars in damage, what a joke, we will be going to court!

I would not hesitate for a single second to recommend Public Storage at Independence Blvd. Karen and Grace went above and beyond to help me. I am not that tech savvy. Grace had me download the Public Storage App. Then walked me through what I needed to do to secure my storage unit. Then the following day Karen came in and smoothed out all the details and had me all set up for my movers to come in. On a scale of one to ten Karen and Grace get a twenty in my book. Also I highly recommend the Public Storage App extremely helpful when having to gain access to your account.
