Please do NOT rent a space at this location. My furniture has been here a little over a year and is all destroyed by TERMITES. As a single mom spending over $10,000 on all my furniture and then seeing it all destroyed is heart breaking. I trusted Public Storage with my belongings and this is what happened…and I was moving out because they have raised my rent two times in one year. I am scared now because I had already moved stuff over to my house before I found this and now I am afraid I will have them at my house.
I usually don't care for storage places with their fees and price hikes. When you run into someone nice like Marie that will help you, give you advice, and show you units to fit your needs, it makes the process that much better. Thanks Marie! Keep it up

Had a great experience using this Public Storage! Miss Marie went above and beyond to help make my move-in and move-out smooth and easy, she is the best! The facilities are clean and secure and it was easy to get stuff in and out (although my moving truck driver had to pull off some impressive driving to navigate some parts of the lot). I would not hesitate to use this location again for my future storage needs.

Every time I come to the storage facility the place is always clean. I have had the pleasure of meeting two of the ladies that work there, and they are hard workers. I came in to talk about a storage unit that I had won in an auction, and spoke to Marie. Poor thing had been out in the heat all day cleaning the property but still had an extremely positive attitude and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. Keep going Up in BIG AMOUNTS at one time on their prices! There are Rat feces and a dead BIG RAT in my unit. They were Great in the past. Have went Down Hill, Way Down Hill!
I rented a unit online and when I got there, I found that my dolly wouldn’t fit. I went to the office and was in hopes that they had a bigger unit but they didn’t. However, Mary’s customer service was top notch. She went above and beyond in every way possible and although I couldn’t get what I needed, I since realized that there really isn’t a storage unit with a big enough garage door for my trailer. Thanks again!!

Absolutely the worst storage company I've ever used. First they have a very strict 9pm deadline to access your unit, if you leave at 9:05pm they will penalize you. If for some reason you happen to pay late and they put one of their own locks on your unit it does not get removed once you've payed and your account is in good standing, you must take the time to set up an appointment to have it removed and only one person on the property has the authority to remove the lock so if they are gone on vacation you have to wait however long until they are back to make an appointment for them to take off the lock. Also you must be there at said time to have it removed, they won't just take it off even though you owe nothing and have your account in good standing. They've have numerous BBB complaints and have had a class action lawsuit filed against them which they lost, as well as numerous small claims court lawsuits for practices they still use to this day.

This is an older facility with obvious signs of dating, wear, tear, and damage. Due to the layout of the climate control units, they are not as easily accessed as other facilities/companies. I have been renting here for almost 1 year and have seen TWO rate increases for a total of a 70% increase over my original rate. There isn't a single other climate control facility renting a same size unit for the same inflated price. Every other company is renting for the same as my original rate, $99 for a 10 x 7. I'm moving out at the end of this month.

Edit nov/24/23 it’s 730 we’ll within business hours and I arrived on site to find that my storage unit lock has been changed. I checked my messages and had not received any notice or warning. I then called the number on the door, which took me to the call center. They then said they could attempt to credit my account ( yes even though the inconvience happened, there’s a chance I would receive no compensation). As well as she tried to tell me that this location is by appointment only which there are no signs stating that information at all. My bill is paid on time and has been for the duration of my usage. Sadly I would never expect something like this to happen at this facility. Willing to change rating once this is all concluded.
11/27 And just like that one dedicated employee with passion to serve restore the orginal rating so from a satisfied customer thank you Maria (Muhree) pretty much if your not dealing with her and you have time schedule an appointment and ask for her.
No one is ever in the office and they don't pick up calls. Get storage elsewhere since this is unprofessional.
Marie, the property manager, was very helpful and transparent with the renting process, she made sure I got the best unit I could and was very honest about the property. I woupd suggest renting here.

I felt this location was very secure and a safe place to store my items for the time needed. The units were a good price compared to competitors. Marie was very friendly and helpful!
I had a great experience visiting and renting out my first storage unit. Marie was very helpful and provided me with wonderful customer service ! There prices are affordable and reasonable i would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to rent out a storage.
Marie at the front desk was very kind and helpful. She went out of her way to show me my unit and how to use the locks. She also used her leaf blower to help me clean out my unit.
Marie was awesome in finding the storage space I needed I would recommend the public storage here in Universal City especially if Marie is working awesome customer service.

I admit I was concerned about renting here at first. But all my hesitations melted away immediately after meeting Marie! She is so friendly and welcoming! Answering all my questions and craziness with a smile! My children and I were loading our unit and she came by with ice cold water bottles!! Thank you will definitely be recommending!

Set up my storage online, needed something for a couple months to store things while I was moving. Marie was super helpful with any and all questions I had. Which was amazing due to the fact I do not have fond memories of other storage places I have used over the years. Would recommend using this facility.
Had this place for three years. Finally got around to cleaning it out and sold a bunch of old stuff. Never had any issues and at times helped me out with a payment. Marie is a diligent and exceptional person.
