Rhonda & Kathy treated me like family. I only met them when I checked in to get my storage place (the experience was smooth) and when I came back to empty my storage place (another smooth experience), but they were so nice that I wanted to visit from California to hang out with them.
The online price is only good for about a month or two. Then your $40 unit goes up to $150 with very limited notice.

Originally we transferred from a CubeSmart, huge difference in the way, at least for this location the way Public Storage runs its business.

Very convenient self service storage facility. Decent prices and easy online set up. If you have the app you can access the place with your phone instead of having to memorize the codes and such! It’s in a very convenient location just one of I45 south at the Rayford Road/Sawdust exit with two very convenient entrances which is good because the first one is easy to miss!

This place is excellent because of Kathy the manger. I totally miscalculated the amount of space I needed to store my property. At the last minute WHILE moving with the movers trailer packed the second time and on their way to the Public Storage facility Kathy managed to find me a second unit AT THE LAST MINUTE just released and reserved the unit for me. Without Kathy doing what she did to help me I would have ended up with the movers not having a place to unload. Can you imagine having a full trailer and no place to put it? The hourly cost as the truck and crew just sitting waiting on you to find storage ON A SUNDAY!
Kathy runs that place with the attention and diligence of a professional WHO ACTUALLY CARES about the people who come there.
That facility is clean, secure, and operated better than any other storage facility I've ever seen. You won't find better.

Rented here for a year and after just 5-6 months my rent for my storage doubled. The worst part is online I could get a deal for a new unit same floor at half the price.
I called in to see if I could get the deal or at least keep my price and got a $10 discount for 2 months on the new price that had gone up $30+.
I booked a new unit at the cheaper price and moved my things to the me unit only for the same thing to happen again and canceled instead. Also note the unit insurance can be canceled the day you rent to avoid that additional fee.
Also they have limited carts to move your things and it's usually packed. I had to wait 20 min until someone kindly left of for me to use. Not a bad location just be informed of how they are and operate the facility.
Cathy helped me over the phone and then in person. 10 minutes and done ✅ new storage space, super easy and pleasant experience. nice facility too!
This location has the sweetest staff ☺️ There was a small bit of confusion with booking my units but these ladies went out of their way to help clear it up. The inside units are really nice. The outside units are a little more “used” looking/feeling but still fairly clean.. Security seems tight. Would recommend!

I needed a unit quickly and needed to have Uhual Upack containers delivered, and the staff was so helpful and understanding. I was able to have 2 containers delivered and parked overnight while I unloaded them. Uhual had missed 3 delivery windows, and by the time they finally got my stuff there, it was raining pretty hard. I was able to keep the boxes on site an extra night so I didn't have to move my stuff in the heavy rain.
There is ample access for larger trucks to access and turn around by the climate controlled building. I suggest using the entrance by that building (once you have your code) since it is off the highway service road. Also, units require a specific lock type, a cylinder lock, which is provided with an additional fee. I searched high and low to find better deals on the lock, but since it's not common, the $20 charge is a relatively fair price.
Kathy at the front desk provides the best customer service ever. She makes this location the best storage facility in the area. She is very knowledgeable, explains things well, is friendly, thorough with the check-in process, and obviously cares about each person. My family, friends and I have used this location exclusively for our storage needs.

Rhonda is an absolute doll. Her and Kathy both have been total angels in helping me with my storage journey. I’ve had to rent 2 units now over the last few years, and they always go above and beyond with me to answer my questions, get me situated, and it’s always stress free. You can tell they care about both the company and us. I specifically go to this location to rent because of them. There are plenty of facilities in the area, but these two ladies are the reason I stick with y’all as a location and as a brand.

It was my first time getting a storage unit so I decided to try Public Storage since it’s known all over the US. I was kind of nervous. I didn’t know what would be a great size, but Rhonda and Kathy were very helpful! They show me a tour around facility and understood exactly what size I needed since I would be keeping the storage unit for a few years. I’m so glad I didn’t waste my money on a bigger one. I would definitely recommend asking them for help if you are looking for storage unit. Only problem with that location is it’s hard to get inside and out even if you have an access code for a very stressful.

How do you get on site help at this location? The front office doors are always locked during business hours. No one responds to knocking, and no one picks up the phone or returns voicemails.

Wouldn't recommend this location!!!! You can tell a lot about a business when things arise not according to plan!! And, you see how the company handles themselves fixing it!!! I have always thought Public Storage was a great place to do business until recently when I had an issue arise and they showed me how much they lacked integrity, professionalism, and value in telling the truth and standing up in doing the right thing! Cathy the property manager is a liar and holds no integrity! This is a *WARNING* You must take what she says and get it in writing because her word means NOTHING!!!! She will lie and change the story and act as if she never said what she told you!!! She seems nice, professional, and like she knows what's going on with the company procedures, but it's all fake and she doesn't have a clue!!!!

I am a Public Storage tennant this month has been 2 yrs. since we lost our house due to my husband's health issues. There are storage facilities on every corner. However, they do not have what Public Storage offers. It is a rare commodity.
Great service and a staff that cares. Several times throughout our stay we just couldn't pay, again due to my husband being sick. Kathy was always willing to work with us and was always compassionate towards our circumstances. Like I said it is rare to find people that care.
We have found at Public Storage all the staff are not only friendly but willing to do all they can do to help their customers. We have not found a house yet to call home.

I have been renting at this location for about three months or so and ever since, I have had a really good experience with Kathy. At one point, I lost my keys for my unit and Kathy scheduled the cut and took care of everything. Also, my rate jumped up like $40 a month and ONCE AGAIN Kathy saved the day and took care of me. I really appreciate her. I have no idea what she is making, but she deserves a raise! She always goes above and beyond for me and anyone I’ve seen her service. Thank you Kathy for all that you do 🥰
I rented a storage unit here back in June. Right away there were issues not just with me but several other people accessing the facilities due to a problem with their gate. Not only is there always an issue with gate access sometimes you have to always fight to get either a park or access the elevators. Sometimes only 1 works. They are very short staffed so enforcing the rule about truck parking or blocking the elevator can't be done. I was stuck on the 3rd floor for over 30 minutes one day. Now here is my biggest issue. I was late with my payment for October. Apparently they cut my lock on the 26th even after I spoke with Kathy and told her I would be making a payment. Apparently they area saying that I went into lean status. It's unclear to me how you go into lean status in less than 30 day's. Now that want me to pay an additional $20 for another lock! Oh and then I received an email stating they will be increasing my rent by $30 in December.... What the hell Public Storage why are you try

Rhonda was very helpful and went above and beyond her duties to accommodate me yesterday. It was near closing time ,I was late due to traffic but I wanted to make my monthly payment to avoid a late charge. There was a very difficult customer ahead of me in line who was very rude and verbally abusive. Rhonda handled this difficult person with professionalism when others would have lost their patience. It was nice to see that hard workers who take pride in their jobs are not a thing of the past as in so many other customer service related jobs. Thank you Rhonda for spending the extra time to help me out.
This place is the best. I've had my belonging stored here for almost two years and have received the most professional customer care. I've worked with Rhonda in the past and did so this weekend. She is solution oriented, friendly, genuinely cares about customer needs and saved the day for me this weekend when I got confused about where I reserved my unit. Place is a rip off. Tried to auction my lot after being late on a payment by 5 days. Management never calls you back. Got broken into and lost thousands of dollars, while paying insurance, and they won't reimburse me! NEVER take your stuff there to store. Overpriced as well.

I like how my storage unit is on the inside of the building. Thank you for helping me Rhonda. She's the best :) she went out of her way to show me where my locker was. She was very attentive as well. Made sure everything went smoothly. Give the staff a raise.
Rhonda went over and beyond with helping me understanding the app finding my unit and payment it was so quick and easy she was so polite customer service like her is hard to find she was ne we annoyed or rushed me she truly is awesome

After almost two years of slow rate increases, they raised my rate 76% in one month. Customer service couldn't tell me why the massive increase, just said "find another less expensive unit".
Edit: if you want to address this, the solution is simple...cap the amount you can raise rates! We can all agree a 76% increase in one month is ridiculous and should be criminal. Waiting for your reply...
