We were very pleased with the help we received at this location. We needed to downsize to a smaller unit and she helped with the transfer.
It's 10:20 on a Wednesday and there's no agent on site. Doors are locked. I called and made a complaint with management, but they wouldn't give me the district managers number.
This storage place is the worst, we've had nothing but issues with them. Every fee months they would increase our fee, yet our contract is for a year! Hell no
Do not use this storage! Beware! This storage place has been sold to different names in the last year it's unbelievable. And each new company doesn't recognize the contract you sign.

My last review for this business was a 2 star because everything was broke. However, I'm happy to report that my latest trip 9/3/2024 was pretty positive. The best part of the entire experience was Miss Angela, she went out of her way to ensure that I was taken care of. She never rushed or got upset. Please let her know that she changed the way I now view this business. Thank you Angela!

When we were transferring to another unit Angela was very helpful and helped us get to another unit at an affordable rate.
It's a storage place but it's a bit expensive and the elevators don't always work. This is a problem especially if your unit is located on the fourth floor. The climate control is well controlled and I do feel that my items are safe. I do hope that the prices don't keep going up though.
Edit: the manager called and helped me with my issues. Good customer service.

Everyone was great!
Started renting my unit here 4 years ago at around $145 a month (2 or 3 ownerships ago), after 2 price increases, last one being to $188, they are now wanting me to pay $254 a month (3rd Floor), pretty drastic in my opinion. Also I can honestly vouch that the elevators are a big hassle, not working on several occasions in last several months (I go at least 3-4 times a month sometimes more). Both elevators were down for almost 2 full weeks not long ago (back up and working today), had to store my stuff in my garage at home till it was fixed. Even when one elevator is working it is still a big hassle, because everyone goes to that one and takes forever. Also parking situation not very effective, had to use back elevator (front one not working at the time) and when I came back out, had two cars blocking me in for about 15 minutes. It is a nice facility and clean, but with the price increase and ongoing elevator issues, may not be able to justify a $66 dollar month increase, $109 a month versus 4 years ago to my company.

I bought unit on auction than cleaned it out. Two days later manager reported I didn't show up. So poor service.... Avoid!
I had originally rated this place 5 stars without a review. Now since they increased prices to a staggering $183 I believe it's time to look elsewhere for storage. That is way too much to pay for something I was paying less around 3 years ago. The storage itself was great just not the price for it. Sorry Public Storage we are going elsewhere.
Arty did a good job
I was there for a year. It’s was fine until out of nowhere they decided to raise my monthly price significantly. I had a 10x10 and they increased my price to $147 for fourth floor with my military discount. I spoke to a worker who said corporate raised everyone’s prices. The e-mail I got stated it was in line with market. I called corporate they said the owner raised prices. They said they would put in a request for the manager to call me. He/she never did. I just submitted a notice to vacate and moved to another storage facility for $85 a month. Sad…I would of stayed there if they weren’t greedy. They sadly will have to find someone else to support their greed. I sure they will. However, their prices are definitely not in line with the market. 👋

I’ve had a small unit for years and paid with with automatic withdrawal. I recently got a larger unit. They did not carry the automatic bank withdrawal over and they started charging insurance unless a copy of our homeowners insurance was on file. Not happy!

This location changes owners as much as I change underwear. The new owners, Simply Self Storage, have raised my rate 70% with 2 price increases within last 6 months. The property has broken sliding doors as well as broken keypads stalls. Renters beware!!!!
Here at 4:26 PM and no one is in the office. Website and door says they close at 6 PM. I need to buy a lock for my storage unit as movers are scheduled to be here with our stuff in 20 minutes. I tried to call but the recording would not recognize any last name I entered. I tried to call corporate but no one answers; the only option is to leave a message. :(

So far, so good! Easy online rental made things super easy during a hectic move. When I made it to the location, Jackson was filling in as manager on duty. Even though he was very new to the facility, he made my entry a breeze! He was very helpful and made sure all of my questions were answered. I took one star off for the facility itself - the back entry door was knocked off track (almost as if someone either backed into it, or was trying to break into it). Also, there was a lot of trash at the dumpster - given the type of business it is, that's to be expected, but it wasn't well contained - I think this could be remedied with a larger disposal container. (This critique is NOT a reflection on Jackson - he was great!)

Best place in Richmond to store your stuff! Im between houses and this place is a life saver. Rodgers makes it SO easy to help find what you need. 10/10 customer service and deals are sometimes available for different storage sizes ❤️❤️
