As nice and helpful the last in the front office is, two weeks in and someone broke into my unit. Along with everyone else's in the very back building.
These photos are from a day later. I got a call from another Public Storage, yesterday around 4:30pm saying that my lock may have been tampered with. When I got there, my lock was still intact, but someone had been in my unit and rummaged thru my things. I talked to multiple other people, who were there and some had their locks broken, some units were left exposed, some didn't, but noticed that someone had been in their units too. One guy told me that, months ago, he came to his unit and a new lock was on it, with only one of the two keys, taped onto it, for anyone to take.
Policy doesn't let you review camera footage. Apparently, the person who was working that day, never showed up, but Shellie, who didn't get there till around the time all of us did, said she drove around and noticed the break ins, around 8:30am that morning. I don't know how she could tell, from the outside, since all the break ins were inside. I've also seen a man, with a backpack and a gate code, regularly coming in and out of the vicinity. He doesn't have a car, just comes in and out throught the day. I'm not even sure the doors even get locked, at night. I'm just confused how this location has so many good reviews. I'm just mad that they won't let me review the camera footage, around my unit, just to see if they took anything. Oh, and it's 10:30am the next day, and still no one is in the office.
Update: I came back later, saw that the locks were still all over the floor, talked to a cop, and then Shellie, who said that she vacated me (after seeing my bad review), when the day before, she told me that I had till the 31st.
The district manager did call me and is looking into this location, just be weary, that it has a reputation and even the officer said that break ins were common. Maybe buy a camera to keep in your unit, if you do choose to stay here?

Quick and easy. Shelly was great and took care of everything for me over the phone and via email. Upon arrival to store my things, my unit was clean with my new lock and keys placed inside ready for me without having to do unnecessary paperwork. She sent me a very good map of the facility identifying the location of my unit and the code information to go with it. I highly recommend this place.

We used Public Storage after my grandfather passed away and I was cleaning out his house. The facilities are clean, nice, and felt very safe. But what made it worth leaving a review is how nice and helpful the staff was during what was a pretty emotional time. The staff was incredibly kind and got us all set up quickly. My family and I appreciated it immensely. Definitely recommend!

My daughter has a climate controlled unit in the 6000 series. She came by Tuesday 5/7/24 to find it flooded last week. She had a lot of ruined books and furniture. Anything on the bottom susceptible to water was ruined. We went through everything and moved her to U-Haul of Kingwood (highly recommend) yesterday & finished today. We both called Public Storage yesterday. They told us the property was to be walked everyday & management should have notified everyone. Today she followed up and manager on site walked over. She first told us she walked everything Sunday & it was fine. She then stated after seeing the water pooled on the floor that she called unit 6033 & told her to get her stuff out. Unit 6033 is on the other side of my daughter’s. Both units are connected and the pooled water was on our side running under the connected wall. I asked her why she didn’t notify my daughter. She said “I was told I only had to tell where I saw water”. I explained the problem is the units are all connected. The manager also ended up telling me unit 6000 had water but not the empty units on either side. 6000 is directly across from my daughter’s & one over. My daughter is waiting on a District manager to call her.
There is a strong odor of mold & dampness when you enter the building. I strongly recommended to the manager that they need to tell everyone that could be affected.

Shelly and Rebecca have always been great! We have two climate controlled units. We have been very pleased with units. They have always been pleasant and eager to assist us with any questions we have. All storage areas are very well maintained and always clean. We have had these units for almost a year. My experience at the Public Storage location in Kingwood at 755 Northpark has been extremely good. Chrissy, the facility manager at this location has helped me several times with some issues related to my son’s storage unit there and as a result I moved my storage items from another storage company to this Public Storage location. Chrissy is very professional and the facility is always clean and well maintained. When Chrissy is tied up she has had Gladys help me and the whole team is great. I wouldn’t store my things anywhere else.
The storage unit is in a good location. The prices are great, It is so easy to go online to rent your storage and pay your payments online. I would recommend him to anyone very nice and very polite.

i dont even need to get on here and say this but omggg i payed my storage this month and i get a text message saying that haven't payed for it this month this is ridiculous and i have never had a issue like this
Great facility, clean units, excellent pricing, zero hassle. Strong recommend! The PS App makes any account management super simple, and even allows for Bluetooth gate access. I stored two side-by-sides, so that meant navigating a trailer to the back row. Lanes are wide enough to make that easy, with a circular path back out, so no tight u-turn required.

I have never had an issue. I have had issues with my checking account and pmt not clearing ( acct hacked ) Shellie and/or Rebekah one of then will call and say hey it did not clear so I do not get late charges added. These ladies have no idea how much I truly appreciate them for doing this.

Screw this place! I just got my storage unit 4 months ago and they raise the cost by an additional $40 a month?!! Are you serious? I will be moving my stuff to another storage provider. And telling everyone I know not to use this place or any public storage.

We just rented a 10x15 outdoor access unit and are happy with how clean it is, and also the security camera aimed at the door. Rebecca was very knowledgeable, patient and kind with all of our questions. We believe the unit will stay dry even in heavy Houston rains because of the sloping of the drive. We ‘warned’ Rebecca that we had a bad storage experience before as we asked so many questions about security. She took the time to show us the camera angles, and explained her routine of checking each unit door every morning, as well as reviewing the list of people who accessed the property to scan for any off hour activity. Very kind and helpful! Thank you Rebecca!

The employees don’t care about anything and are hardly in the office every time I have gone either they are just not in sight or outside taking a smoke (this is mainly annoying when I’m calling them go to speak in person and see this) they don’t do their job, find another place if you care about your stuff cause they sure as hell don’t. And if you do decide to move forward with this storage place make sure to purchase the insurance because that’s the only way they’ll pretend to care.
