Best public storage great communication easy process great help from Tina!

I was able to get a unit here for a great price. However, the property is dirty, hot, lacking carts and has no bathroom access (locked). In retrospect, I would have rather paid $15 more and had my unit on a clean and well-maintained property. I've been there 12 or so times over the past month moving things in and out. It's the same thing every time. I moved in over 4 or 5 days. The same rotting garbage was around lobby doors the entire time. We had some rain and then some Texas heat and it smelled like dead animal! Absolutely horrendous. Every time we walked in or out the wretched odor would smack us right in the face. Really was horrible. But not just those days, there's always trash in the lot, around the entry doors in the elevator lobby and on my floor. Additionally, there seems to be only 2 carts, which are either in use or missing. This is a huge inconvenience, especially if you have one of the farthest to reach units and have to carry all of your belongings up to your unit. And it's quite hot and stuffy inside (Maybe 80°?) and becomes increasingly unpleasant as you make three or four trips hand carrying your boxes to your unit. Setting the temp in the so-called 'climate controlled' area a few degrees cooler would be awesome.

I have also found her to be exceptionally reliable in written communication. In a world where many people do not even see emails, Tina takes the time to read and respond to each correspondence with a clear understanding of the topic. I have also observed her work with other customers face-to-face, giving each person full attention, eye contact, and empathy. The facility itself is spotless–another testament to her managerial skills. I have never found trash lying on the floor, and the windows at the entrance are always clean. That leads me to feel that my property is safe because the location that houses it is conscientiously maintained. The bathrooms are clean, and all locks and security pads are in constant, reliable, working order. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, I trust Public Storage because of Tina’s thorough knowledge of the company’s offerings. I recently moved to another storage unit within the facility. I was guided in choosing the very best possible unit by Tina’s knowledge of what types of units work best for different types of storage needs. I didn’t have to guess or take a tour of every little cubby hole in the place. I was guided immediately to a new unit that is more accessible and better suits my storage requirements. The move went seamlessly and I was finished in less time than I had planned–all thanks to Tina’s expert recommendations. Tina knows that we live in challenging economic times, so she is ready to not only recommend the best options but also to help you obtain any discounts or special rates offered by Public Storage. When My card expired from autopay they immediately cleared out my storage and auctioned my things with no notice. I was sent an email on the on the 9th day of the month saying " We appreciate you making your final payment on Space 2342. There’s nothing else due at this time."

Beware I had a unit there not too long ago. If you are late on a payment, they will quickly auction your unit. Also, Monthly prices go up without notice.

Im glad i was able to support you for the whole month of Jan 2024. I moved out on Jan 6th left the unit spotless, but because i conveniently for you had my account set up direct withdrawal you kept $118 instead pro rate. Shame on you.!! NEVER MISSED a payment in 5 years.

We were helping a friend move stuff out and spent 2 days in and out. But in the 2 days there was no Ladies room bc it was locked & the mens room had blood on the sick, no tp, no paper towels to layer on the seat because someone still doesn't know how to clean up after themselves leaving urine & pubs all over the seat. I walked out and said 'and that's why I don't use public restrooms'! Very unsanitary. Luckily for me I will no longer need to go to this place.

PROS: Clean facility Good security CONS: only 4 dollies and some people don't know how to share even though we all learned that in kindergarten. This family with a small u-haul were hogging all the carts (meanwhile the uhaul rented dolly they had just sat in the truck not being used) Had to wait 20 minutes before just straight up taking one from them the minute they cleared one off. I was like, I just have 1 trip and yall need to share, and walked away with the cart like girl bye, yall rude, stupid, and selfish. When I signed up for the unit several months ago, they had about 10 carts originally. The manager informed me another property took half their carts because customers were fighting for them at their location. I said so they made their problem, your problem. Great solution management team. Way to kick the can down the road. I blame corporate.

Super clean love all the security I dislike that it closes early 6pm. After that your code on elevator doesn't work gates to go outside don't work like scary your locked in

I rented a storage unit at clay rd not knowing they close at 6pm. I would not have gotten one if I knew you cant get into your storage after 6pm. People work and cant take off work to get into their storage when they need to. These hours need to change so people can use there unit. I am moving and I cant get a truck until after my husband gets off work. He works until 5pm and doesnt get home until 6pm. This isnt good. They need to allow customers to get into there unit 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. They need to turn the AC on in the units its very hot in there. Not happy! Today I went to put my things in my storage they locked me out of the elevator my unit is unlocked and I walked out the gate to tell the ladie working and she was gone so I was locked out of the gate to get back in to get my car. I called there 24 hrs service they said you can come back tomorrow and get your car. I was so angry I told them I will call the police they laughed I hung up. I called back got a new person they opened the gate and I got my car and I left. Find another place to rent this place isnt worth it they have to many issues. Update I was there 3 days and I moved out to another 24hr. storage and I am much happier now that I dont have to deal with there issues on time no more.

I called public storage because I had an issue with my billing. The person who picked up, Sam, was very helpful in explaining the issue and solved my problem pretty quickly! I was very impressed!

Facility is in an excellent location with easy access, but they reconfigure the layout from time to time requiring you to move everything which is extremely inconvenient. I've purchased multiple units here and the price goes up on fairly consistent intervals. The first unit doubled in cost over two years and my second unit has increased about 50% in just under 18 months. While the location is nice, people also steal the carts so they may have 10 available one day and then for a long period only one or two available. Not their fault but with how much we pay for storage I would expect they could replace them faster (1st floor had 3 or 4 carts max for nearly a year). If it weren't for the price increases I would be very happy, but they do this because they know it's more of a challenge to move elsewhere than to just take the monetary hit. I'm sure other storage places operate similarly but my experience is with this location and business and overall it's average because of the reasons previously mentioned. Update: The manager reached out following my review and resolved the issue of the steadily increasing bill. I appreciate the kindness and quality of customer service the manager displayed! The rising bill was my primary complaint and the one thing within that location's control, so with that and the experience woth the manager I am updating my rating to 5 stars.

Visited the facility to inquire about availability and pricing. Drell, the young lady at the front desk helped us and answered all our questions along with showing us some units. We told her we would think about it and let her know. We went to another storage for the same information and the pricing was cheaper than Public Storage. We went back to PS and moved forward with renting a unit there even though it was a little more expensive than the other facility all because of the attitude Drell had with us…she was super nice and had a really positive attitude with amazing customer service. I told her why we decided and she just gave us a huge smile! I informed her that I do in fact give reviews when I receive bad service but I also praise when we receive AMAZING customer service. Her great attitude was the deciding factor with getting our unit at PS! GREAT JOB DRELL!!

Dondrielle was very patient, professional and very helpful! This location is very clean.

This location is amazing and Tina was phenomenal with her customer service. I have never seen a cleaner facility or worked with a more friendly staff. It made the crazy moving experience so much easier. Thanks for being awesome Tina!!!!

The facility itself is great but I feel bad for the employees because like today....one worker trying to handle the entire facility and phone calls and eating lunch.....Public Storage is failing big time in that area....the woman was so sweet though and very cordial even though other customers were very frustrated and getting angry....one of the biggest companies in the US and can't staff properly....horrible.

I would definitely recommend this Public Storage to all my family and friends. Drell was one of the most kindest and friendly people that I have ever meet her smile just makes you want to smile great hospitality

I chose this location because of it's proximity to my home. I rented the space because of the awesome customer service I experienced by the newly promoted property manager - Drell - and her assistant. I liked that the overall property was clean, (bathrooms needed some attention - fairly clean but needed tissue). I would have given 5 stars but i noticed that there was alarm that was going off and, by the sound of it, it had been doing so for a while. Customer service, 5 stars. Site, 4 stars. Congratulations, Drell!!!

They never answer

There is never any staff in the office. When there is people in there they keep the door locked and keep the sign about them returning at a later time and act really bothered when they have to open up the door. All I wanted was to buy an extra storage lock I didn’t think that the store would be closed until noon when operating hours start at 9am. This is the second where I come in this week unload my items for 2+ hours and the main office is still closed with no staff to help unbelievable because they are “too busy” were the exact words given to me when someone finally opened up the front door to the office.
