The app rarely worked at the gate, the rates increased over 100% in a 2 year period. Went down the road and got a larger unit for EIGHTY dollars less. The staff were friendly and seemed to be secure.

This is the worst storage facility I have ever used. My unit was broken into, and all my shoes and some jewelry were stolen. The thieves accessed my unit through a gap above the storage shutter—a significant security flaw. When I reported the incident to the front desk, they told me there was nothing they could do and that I had to file a claim with their insurance. Even though they profit from the insurance you purchase, as stated in the storage agreement, they were indifferent to my situation. Their security measures are merely for show. When I asked to see the camera footage, they denied my request, making me question the purpose of the cameras. I later discovered other customers had experienced break-ins too, but the front desk wouldn't acknowledge it, citing privacy concerns. I only found out because another customer filed a police report. On the same day, an older gentleman told me his unit had been broken into three times, but he had no other storage options. I strongly advise against using this facility if you want to keep your belongings safe. The circled area in the attached picture shows where the thieves can enter without breaking a lock.
I have used this public storage for a year. It was hard for me to set things up because I live in Atlanta and I am renting the storage for a family member in Texas. Mia walked me through everything and I have called her to ask questions on numerous occasions. She is always super helpful and professional. I really appreciate her help!

Customer service is very poor. Lady kept cutting me off while I’m trying to ask a question and then tries to rush me off the phone since I didn’t answer to wanting the unit. First off I want the question answered, the prices she was giving me were different from the online price. If you are going by commission and trying to push the sale you’re in the wrong profession sweetie. We will take our business elsewhere because I couldn’t imagine my mom being taken advantage by someone like her. Do better please.

Location was convenient but recently had some break-ins. They cut the fence line from the backroad and get in through the back of the units or cut them from the inside. Awful security system if you ask me and people should be aware of the recent break-ins.
Nice and clean storage location. The manager was friendly. Place is easily accessible with lots of cameras for security. Prices are good when they are on special, but not as much when the special pricing randomly runs out. My only complaint is that the rate can be changed whenever the facility feels like it. But I would definitely go back and use Public Storage again as I find their pricing is still better than other storage facilities in this area.
I called the other day to get information in a storage unit for a friend moving to the area. I spoke with Kristie and she was very professional and informative. She was friendly, professional, and able to answer all my questions. Good customer service is hard to come by these days but Kristie’s customer service was exceptional and refreshing.

Rented a space in December pending a move in January thinking we would need the additional storage space. Ended up not needing the unit. Christie called me as my auto pay was rejected, and I hadn't gotten a chance to go out there and close the account. She was SO understanding and kind and told me once I made the payment she would close out the account. I was perfectly fine with paying as it was on me for not taking care of it in a timely manner. Once the payment was processed, I called Christie back and she closed out the unit. She was kind, professional and understanding. Great experience for something I didn't even end up needing.
This is my first time having a storage unit and the one time I needed help with something no one was here to answer the phone during business hours.
After looking around for a storage Public Storage seems to be the best, Kristi in the front office is very nice and helpful, This place is well kept and has good lighting , opens early & closes late. Thank you for being here for me .

I opened a unit online, downloaded the app and drove down to move into my unit. I purchased my own lock and went to the office to get a refund and the door was locked! I called the number twice, no answer. Someone calls me from another location an hour later to tell me that office is closed on Mondays! Google shows 9-6 and hours aren’t posted on the door.
I drive down again on Tuesday to get my money back, which I did. Tried canceling the insurance because I already have renters insurance and the lady wasn’t really helpful. Not sure if she was new or not.
The rate is decent and I don’t plan on leaving my things in the unit long.

High key disappointed I visit my storage at least once a week. Found a dead rodent and a temporary manger came and trashed the rodent and told me to contact the main manager.I asked for it to be mopped out and cleaned. Manager stated no she can’t go into storage it’s against policy, I know managers can do inside storage unit with permission. I have ants, grasshoppers, and silver fishes on my mattress. Now I have to file a claim and will be moving out…
I use to have a storage space at lockaway storage and I moved out into public storage because it was newly built and 2 minutes for my home. I store my restaurant and hair salon equipment. Last night someone went on the property and ripped off not only the locks but the whole lock mechanism off of at least 15 units. So everyone had to come on short notice and move what was left in their unit to another unit. The security is awful. I’ll be relocating back to lockaway
