So, I'm here at public storage on Dorchester road and it's 8:37am. Mrs. Dshaunda was literally getting out of her vehicle and allowed me to come and make a much needed payment. I've been to other storage facilities and those that have taken this route know all to well the struggles of dealing with storage staff!!!! This woman went above and beyond to help me. She made it OK for me not to understand some things, and then made sure I didn't leave in that same ignorance. People like her deserve a raise!!!!

The employee, Jamie Denby, does not provide good customer service, talks over guests, and refuses to call the supervisor when customers have questions and needs. I do not recommend this location as it is neglected by the employees and the climate control is miserable at best.

no bathrooms, no trash cans, this place is not for somebody who does everyday storage. the one trash can they do have can only be used by the office, no carts, they are very rude.

She was awesome, respectful towards the situation, and went above and beyond to get it all sorted out so that I could get my locker and still get the quoted price, she understood my frustration when I tried to finish the rental online and it would'nt work, but managed to figure it out. Great employee beyond greatful I chose this location and she was working.

Found cockroaches, small lizards and ants in my storage unit when moving out. Also got charged for a whole month even tho I moved out on the 1st of the month lol money grabbers.

There's something lost in this art... The meeting of customer needs without loss to quality of the product and personnel selling it. When I got my unit, every question was met. Every need was attained. I've rented at other locations in the past, but I love it here. Whatever you're pushing in your training of your team here, it needs to be bottled and sold. You guys are the best!

When my car needed to be jumped, employee Shannon provided amazing costumer service and helped us get my car restarted. I am astounded with the unprofessionalism from the woman at the front desk with piercings on her face. I walked in just wanting to get a storage unit and she threw down what was holding and said “I was just about to go on my lunch break” with the biggest attitude. I told her she is very rude and unprofessional and walked out. Mind blown and lost out on easy money.
Just got access to my unit. Paige helped me get access and then switch to a better sized unit. She was so super helpful, efficient and competent. An absolute pleasure to deal with.

Paige is great at customer service. She is willing to go above & beyond for her customers at her property, & will even help you when you call her if, & your unit is at another property that's she's not even a property manager of. She makes sure her property is in order, & well maintained. She is very understanding, & will resolve any issues within reason.

My boxes got flooded and they did not pay for them, with the insurance and charged me for the month I was not there .
The facility is great. Never had any problems at the location, but the online payment site is aweful and the late fee is worse been trying to pay on line since the 4th it keeps kicking me out although my info is correct and I've paid that way before on more than one occasion.
Overall good customer service, office smelled like feet tho

I'm leaving this post before I even move my items in just to complement Paige who works at the front desk. Customer service is key for me and Paige has great customer service skills. I was greeted and felt welcomed the moment I walked in and literally was helped in the parking lot on my way out. Public storage on Dorchester road is by far the most friendly, kind, personable storage unit in my history of storage facilities.
After 4 years I can confidently say Paige has been an amazing friend, an outstanding leader, consistently continues to amaze me regardless of pandemics, floods, movement throughout the company of employees and I am eternally grateful I’m these hard times to know our belongings are safe.
I hope she is shown appreciation for the value, work ethic and humanity she has shown and continues to do so.

the price could be lower as they charged me for different stuff such as governmental fee, locker and other stuff. But I'm happy with the service I received. Thanks
They raised the rate a total of 60% in 22 months with 2 increases during that time. When I notified them our departure at the end of the month they offered an $8 rate reduction for 6 months. Obviously not serious about maintaining me as a customer.
