I am renting at the Hyacinth storage and I have to say Ms.Dee made my visit so easy and painless and went out of her way in fact above and beyond what her job description calls for I'm sure to accommodate me and meet my needs. I am sick with stage 4 terminal cancer and she helped me understand the process in case of the worse scenario that meant a lot to me. As well she was very patient with me I am not very tech savvy in my old age and accidently reserved 3 different units and instead of being irritated with me or even upset with me which I would have understood she helped me through it and was understanding, again I appreciated that. So I'd like to give a shout out to Ms.Dee and to Public Storage on Hyacinth in Salem Oregon for a job well done and I would highly recommend anyone wanting to rent that they choose this specific Public Storage for their storage needs, I can assure you will not be disappointed. Dee, the manager, was the most helpful person in the situation I was in. My old Public Storage unit that I had rented never had anyone greet me, talk to me other than over the phone, and then told me the day before that it switched hands to another ownership group. I had no time to make a decision and I was extremely frustrated but Dee helped me through everything and switched me over like nothing. She was wonderful and showed unbelievable care when clearly the other place didn't. I would highly recommend anyone looking to get a storage unit to look here if you want someone who actually cares about you and your well being!

Dee saved the day!! I drove by this public storage location at 1:45 on a Saturday after I was turned away by the USPS because I needed packaging tape to ship my already purchased and packed priority flat rate box. The door was locked, but Dee opened willingly and Graciously let me borrow packaging tape to secure my package and I made it back to the USPS before 2 PM to ship it before I left town. I’m so grateful for her willingness to open the door even though they were closed and help out someone in need! She has no idea how important it was to me to get this package out on time! I am composing this review to commend the exceptional service provided by the property manager at the public storage facility located on Hawthorne Ave in Salem, Oregon. I would like to initially address my prior encounters, which were less than satisfactory.
Upon my arrival at the storage facility, Dee, the property manager, approached me as I prepared to attend to tasks in my storage unit. Given my past experiences with other individuals in similar positions, I was apprehensive. However, Dee pleasantly introduced herself with a warm tone and a welcoming smile, significantly deviating from my expectations. Her friendly demeanor immediately shifted the tone of our interaction. She inquired about my well-being and offered assistance, even reminding me to stay hydrated. Our conversation delved into my previous encounters, and I found Dee to be genuinely empathetic towards my concerns. Together, we reached a mutually beneficial resolution that left me greatly satisfied.
As I proceeded with my tasks, Dee continued to be attentive and supportive. Approaching closing time, when the office was no longer open, I found myself in need of restroom facilities. Upon contacting Dee, she graciously unlocked the door for me, displaying a level of service that exceeded my expectations.

Worked with Dee and it was a great experience. We booked online and realized on arrival that the unit wasn't a great fit for our needs. Dee jumped right in and found a unit located in a much better spot for us and somehow figured out how to do it at the same price. Nice facility. Not the cheapest not most expensive but had good staff and helpful people at desk.
April is very understanding and accomodating. If it weren't for her , I would have left this place because it is highway robbery. They raise rent on your space 6 months in. Also they do not prorate leaving the space so if you clear out on the 2nd of the month - you pay for the whole month. If April ever leaves I will too! Please give April a raise as she probably deserves one!

Me and my fiance walked into public storage to rent a unit and we met Kyler. He was most very helpful and knew his job. UPS employees are always helpful and ready to take care of you even if you stop next to the van they will take your package and ship it for if you already have the shipping label on it. The Keizer office in the Salem industrial Park are very fast and easy to ship your package. They are very helpful and nice.
