I can’t say enough about this location of Public Storage. Different family and friends have been using this location for years, and it’s always been clean, safe, and well maintained. But the one thing that makes this place stand out above all others in the area is the people. Hands down, every experience I’ve had has been stellar.
The two people I need to single out are Ofir and Jonathan. Friends always said they were good people, but I really understood it when I opened my unit in the spring. Ofir was such a welcoming presence when signing up and walked me through everything, answering question after question. And when there was a maintenance issue with my unit, Jonathan was quick to switch things out and get me a proper one within minutes.
Fast forward to this past weekend. My father passed away recently and my mom needed a unit to store furniture. Ofir was so so kind and welcoming yet again, and literally walked us through a bunch of 10x10 units to see which was the right fit for us. At a time with a lot of anxiety, she was an extremely calming presence and I can’t thank her enough.
Any downsides? At the moment, no. Obviously, there are reviews about deal prices going very high very quickly after the initial opening, but fingers crossed it’s not as bad as people say. But overall, again, just for the people and hospitality alone, I’d recommend this location to anyone needing a unit.

The assistant named O’fir she was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the process with ease. O’fir answered all our questions and made sure I understood my options. The facility was clean, secure, and easily accessible. Overall, a seamless and stress-free experience. Highly recommended!

I moved from Costa Rica last year, from a moderately large house to a NYC apartment. I needed a place to store a lot of things that would not fit in my apartment. I thought I would need some large warehouse in another borough, but Public Storage in Queens is down the road, arranged a 10’ x 10’ space, and best of all, they use net technology really well. Their app lets you access the facility, opens doors, calls elevators, and eases communication. Easiest storage experience ever, and the prices are great! Highly recommended!

Moved our things from a different storage. Door sizes in the units are smaller then the size of the unit. Our previous storage had a large door like a garage and while the size of the unit is the same the door makes it look smaller and harder to move things in. There is no bathroom or vending machine and nearby the location there is a gas station. Be prepared in case you have to organize and spend hours there. You cant visit the unit after 6pm which seems inconvenient if you work and can only access your things during certain times.

Really unethical. Our rental price went up the 4th month of being there already! I had specifically asked about this because the contract specifies their right to change prices every month, but they told me not to worry because my initial rate would be locked in for 6 month. This obviously was untrue.
Also, note that regardless of what day of the month you move in, you always pay rent through the last day of the month, regardless of when you move out. We had asked about this as well, and were equally misinformed on this point.
Other than that, the staff was generally pleasant, but their policies are not very friendly. You can only load and unload through the docks, so if you don't have a car and are just dropping something off or picking something up, it's very awkward (you're not allowed to go through the office). Their hours are very limited - essentially working hours. So don't count on going early morning or after work.
Moved my stuff to CubeSmart because of the broken trust on pricing, and so far, I'm much happier there.
