Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1059 Route 94, New Windsor, NY

Storage unit, property very clean, office clean, management help me with my billing issues, Alex is the greatest district manager, very pleasant, considerate, always accomanding to my issues.

This place Is bad for business! Customer service sucks, they are not for the people, they are there for the money and the money only.

Wonderful Storage Facility clean and well kept. Hana also explained every detail of the terms of the rental Agreement. I had read a few reviews and was skeptical in renting however after discussing all requirements it was very acceptable as in any contracts. Much appreciate the time given to go thru all my questions.

I advise you to shop around and seek other storage facilities, this public storage is the worse!!! They will charge you fee after fee, never mind their refund policy, it doesn't exist- but it so clearly states on line that they do honor refunds. They will tell you to read your rental agreement, it's not pro rated- so why the existence of refund policy?? NO SENSE!!!!

I was really happy and satisfied with the customer service I received from Ms. Hana. She was helpful and knowledgeable about making the right decision on my unit. Ms. Hana even stayed later to explain everything and made sure I was a happy customer. She was great!

I rented a storage unit here back in April and I immediately cancelled the reservation the same afternoon. I was told that the service fee could not be refunded, but that everything else would be. I was immediately refunded the lock fee and received an email confirmation. I never received an email confirmation for the refund of the storage fee. At the end of the week, I noticed that the storage fee had not been refunded yet. I called the Vails Gate location and was assured that I had been refunded by the woman who works there even though I explained to her that I was not. I put in a dispute with my credit card company and Public Storage ended up refunding me for the rental fee while the dispute was in process. Now, in July, I have just received a letter that they sent my account to a collection agency claiming that I owe them $263.00. I am furious. I called the Vails Gate location and received no answer so I left a message. After all that they put me through to refund my money, they have the nerve to say that I owe them money and are trying to ruin my credit report. I think not! This whole ordeal has caused so much more of a headache and problems for me than it ever should have. I will never ever do business with this location or this company again and I will be calling, emailing and tweeting whoever I need to, to get this matter resolved immediately. Update: The account was removed from collections, but I received no apology or explanation. I will never do business with this company ever again.

After five months the storage fees increased, and the insurance police is priced at $5k. No one is aware of the value of my things but me. Wow. I plan to remove my things.

I am a college student and I needed a storage unit for my belongings because I was going on externship for a couple of months and I was looking for the cheapest storage unit around. This place showed up on my search. I know a lot of college students look for storage units for many reasons and might need help looking. So look no further, the price on this place is reasonable for any college student and the team and ESPECIALLY Hannah make everything smooth and straightforward; she really goes the extra mile and that is just an understatement. If you need a storage unit that is cheap and want to experience the highest levels of customer service, this is the place to go. From a college student to another or to anyone really, I highly recommend this place and they just replaced all the storage doors and locks with new ones, just saying if that helps with any decision making.
