Got a storage unit here and it smells OVERWHELMINGLY of pee in the parking lot!! It's SO gross! I'm not sure if people who work here use the lot as a toilet or every single person that drops their stuff off pees in the lot or homeless people use it as a toilet or what but it's so gross you have to walk through piss to get to your storage unit and then bring it back in your car on the bottom of your shoes. Nasty and something needs to be done about it!

Whether it be on Alen's shift or Brad's shift, the readiness to assist the customers is always steadfast and successive. There are no hiccups when explaining to me or new clients on how to effectively physically navigate throughout Public Storage's property or the website. They are very competent with the website and app's user interface. The management at the Great Neck location is by far the absolute best I've come across!

My experience was very bad and unprofessional. First, when I was at the place to pick up my 9ft van, there were no keys to it. I called and they told me my reservation was cancelled and they didn’t know why, they made a reservation for me at another location that they said was open, they were not. But was able to get a 10ft truck and I asked the specialist on the phone if I would be able to park my car there which she responded yes “it is a big parking lot. When I was ready to leave the location I got a text from U-Haul about parking my car. I called them back and they told me it would be $10 an hour to park my car there. At this point I was even more annoyed and was lucky enough to strike a deal with a business nearby where I was able to park for free. Needless to say I was very annoyed with this whole thing.

Brad is such a great help. Made a reservation online and the next morning I had a call from him asking what we needed and when we would be coming in. He showed us the unit I initially reserved which wasnt going to work but luckily had another possible unit which worked out perfectly. Unit was ready to move in that day. He really knows his stuff, very friendly and helpful.
UPDATE: Finally closing out my unit, over the past few years Brad has been a constant support and a joy to work with. He really has made a difference. Having worked with several diffent storage units over the past decade I can honestly say that this has been one of the best experiences I've had particularly from working with Brad.

Very clean, attractive storage facility in the middle of Great Neck. Super convenient, with on site parking and easy load-in. Rates are competitive for the area (it's Great Neck, remember.) Brad, the manager, is extremely professional and helpful, as well as being a really nice guy. He knows his stuff and is very customer-oriented.
