I came to public storage sunset beach location and met Richard , he hit a grand slam . First , the facility was clean , second , the price was right , third , the location of the facility was conviniently located with easy access in and out , four , Forth , finally the property managers went out of their way to help me with my storage concerns.

If you are looking to move to the Calabash area or you just need some place to store your stuff while remodeling. Go talk to Chrystal at Public Storage. We are in the process of looking to buy a new home and are going to need to rent a Storage unit. So we decided to check this place out. Chrystal was so friendly and informative. Plus the units are really nice and well keep and the area is very clean.
I had previously made a review on here from the previous owners that wasn’t up to par. I’ve met Richard, the new property manager and he has been nothing but phenomenal with all of our needs…so professional and so caring. He has gone above and beyond to help anyway he can.

Absolute abysmal male employee that screams and threatens when he makes an error. Very unprofessional. 5+ years renting here. Mothball stench is horrendous now. He became unhinged and started screaming at me when he made an error. Totally unprofessional and not an employee to be trusted around customers. 10 million storage units in a 1 mile radius, do not spend your money here if they allow employees to threaten and scream at innocent customers.

My family and I were shopping around for local storage facilities and I am so happy we found the Sunset Beach location. Rich and Chrystal are absolutely amazing. I called with questions and Rich explained everything in detail. We went to tour the facility and we were sold. Rich gave us a tour of the units and shared some great stories with us! We experienced some hiccups with our belongings due to the moving company and faced delays in receiving our belongings. Chrystal came to the rescue and helped us out of the situation and resolved all of our worries. She is a miracle worker! If anyone is looking to rent a unit, I would definitely suggest checking the Sunset Beach location. You can’t be the prices, location or services provided by Chrystal and Rich. You will be in good hands!

I went online 11/5 and put in my move out date for 11/8. I had actually vacated before that but according to Public Storage you are to give 2 days notice and they are to give a refund because I didn't use the whole month.
Instead this place kept calling me and ended up vacating the unit for me however I had already put in my move out date and moved out. I'm dealing with a family matter and did everything online thru the app so I wouldn't have to deal with anyone.

I met with Mike and he straightened out all the billing and other corporate issues. He took the time to make sure everything was right and I am now a customer of Public Storage. If it wasnt for Mike, I would have left!

The reviews BEFORE mid JULY 2023 were from Pinnacle Storage, BEFORE Public Storage bought them out. Public Storage doesn't offer yearly discounts or discounts for paying in advance. As another reviewer said, the billing system sends out notices, although I was paid up until Sept. Once the storage place by ACE is done, or the new one going up on Thomasboro Rd is done, goodbye Public Storage
Horrible since public storage has taken over. I highly do not recommend them until they fall under someone else. Rates will only increase and service which already is below par will decline. Unwillingness to work with their customer's unless it solely benefits them. The facility and people there are great but other than that don't hold your breath.

I was looking for a storage unit I stopped by Public Storage. Micheal was very knowledgeable and professional. He showed me a few different units so I have a better ideal of how much space I will need.
Absolutely horrible since took over from Pinnacle. Local office very kind but corporate office has billing all messed up,even admits billing issues, paid up in full until 7/31 but sending me past due statements. Local office has tried to help but corporate wont listen and says they must not have everything updated.

Pinnacle Storage has been over the top with their accomdations for us. We have been through a nightmare move with a horrendous moving company. The moving company has changed the date of delivery many times. James at Pinnacle has graciously reserved a storage unit for us throughout these expected delivery dates. James and his assistant Chris are really good people. Pinnacle Storage Company is immaculate! Coming from out of state we are so grateful our google search led us to Pinnacle. Use these guys!
