Shamone and Charlene were amazing.
I came in on Labor Day expecting to have a full sized unit that I rented online. When I arrived the unit was a 5x5. If wouldn’t fit my backpack let alone a full uhaul van full of stuff. I had the movers ready to move in all of my things. These two sweet ladies helped my mom and I right away. They found a bigger unit and helped update my rental offer within 10min, which was AMAZING since the movers were on the clock. Thankfully they found the perfect size unit for us. They were truly a blessing and were so patient with us. Thank you Shamone and Charlene ♥️
We recently got a unit set up at this location, and I just wanted to give a shout out to Charlene and Shamone in the office for all their help. They were both very kind and explained everything thoroughly. We were able to see the exact unit before we signed the lease, so that was a plus also. Thank you, Charlene and Shamone! Public Storage: the place where they get your reservation totally screwed. Call the number for Raleigh? They give you a reservation in Fuquay-Varina. Never mentioning anything about making your reservation in a different city. And so sorry, your $29 one-time fee is non-refundable. Need the reservation where you asked for it? They charge you another $29.

Previous: I’d like to say after being a customer for almost 4 years my rent has gone from $60 a month to $165 a month! That’s more than my car insurance on a brand new vehicle!!! The prices and the up charge are ridiculous! They know how to get you in the door! Y’all should be ashamed! I used to be a happy customer, now I can’t wait to get my stuff outta here!

If I could give zero stars I would. STAY AWAY!!! I BEG OF YOU STAY AWAY! I've made all my payments on time and in full and they have charged my account with false charges and have marked my items to go to auction! I called to clarify things assuming it was a stupid mistake and the property manager screamed at me over and over how I never paid for August and how my stuff is going to auction because of my October payment..... um.... it's September!!!!!! Absolutely horrific how she treated me despite my kindness. After ending the call I went straight to the better business bureau! I urge you to do the same!!!! Get your stuff out now and run while you still can!!!!!!!!

The Public Storage at 1400 Capital Boulevard in Raleigh is convenient, clean and well-maintained. The people there are also provide great customer service, with Rose in particular being especially helpful. She helped my son and me move in his school stuff during the summer and she really helped us at the beginning of the fall semester when my wife vacuumed out the car the night before we left and unwittingly vacuumed up the locker keys. We spoke to Rose while on the road (with the keys well in the rear view mirror) and Rose helped us get the lock removed and replaced before we arrived. She then helped us access the locker the next day to make for a smooth move-out. There’s no question where we’ll store stuff again at the end of this school year.

The employees here are nice and professional and the facility is clean. However, I would not recommend this company. I have been a customer for a little over a year and they have raised my rent at least 3 times going from $70+ to $110+. Unfortunately, you can't just up and move your items and this company takes every advantage in capitalizing off its customers. As soon as I can, I will be moving my things.

She was so efficient and knowledgeable in helping me set my account up, picking my unit, download the app, and placing my items in storage. The unit and entire facility are very clean. Very happy with our decision to store our items here!

Great customer service, nice and clean storage units, Climate control, the bathroom were so clean you would think they were cleaned every hr. The love and compassion for what they do shows not only in the presentation of the storage space . You can see/feel the love through their smile even with their mask on.

We didn’t come prepared to move our piano into the space and they got people to help us lift it!! I have never had a more wonderful experience in my entire life!!!

Trayce the store manager was fantastic, she was so friendly and helpful with my move in. I booked the wrong store and she helped me in every way possible. The company set a rate and then hiked the price by a huge amount shortly after moving in. I contacted them to see if anything could be done and they stated rates are subject to change at any time. I asked about why the rates were increasing and they said it was to adjust to the market. Other nearby companies aren’t charging rates this high.
This location has amazing staff that will guide you through every step of the process and help you in any way they can. I am new to storage facilities and Tracye and Laquanda were patient, helped me through the reservation process, and were there to greet me with friendly service the day I moved in. The two of them are amazing and very excellent.

As mini-storage locations go, this is better than most I've used (and I've used at least a half dozen). I like the internal access and door code security, even on the elevator. The only complaint I have is that the access is from a very busy road, which can be challenging when you are hauling a trailer.
