The young lady that took care of me why I had your storage was so very very very nice to me. She helped me with my my storage unit getting me the boxes and the packing supplies that I need. She also took out of her time and to get me some boxes to my house because I was in a wheelchair and I am a veteran. I really appreciate her so very very much, that is the nicest thing that anybody ever did for me she should be commended

Update: The owner Deborah just called me and tried to persuade me to change my review to a positive one... I explained to her again why I left this review and she legit just hung up on me...she still didn't care or try to resolve anything. And she wonders why I gave them this review. Do better!! Horrible experience, bad customer service. When you call them no one takes the time to actually listen to what you're inquiring about. If I'm giving you my money I expect you to at least answer my questions. If I could give them 0 stars I would. This is the worst storage unit I've used by far.

I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased a storage unit from auction online and drove an hour and a half to collect the contents of the unit only for no one to be in the office. They do not display they are by appointment only, and when confirming the auction, I was told somebody would be on site. So far I have called the customer service number 5 times, the managers number 6 times and the district manager. Nobody answers and it goes to voicemail and customer service is worthless. If you need live help, I would highly suggest going to a different storage facility.

Debra is absolutely amazing. The storage facility is secure, maintained and well lit. They have made some nice updates to the location with keypads and paint. I have stored with them for many months and Debra has always accommodated every request and even came in on her off day to meet my movers. Thanks!

So I was having a hard time finding a building that actually had a human inside that I could talk to, so I could try and fix my situation. Well after traveling to about four different locations I finally found this particular one that had the nicest lady inside. Her name was Mrs Debra, she was so helpful and patient with me. She went above and beyond to try and help me And explained everything I needed to know to me. Thank you again Debra for your outstanding customer service. I think that companies all over should definitely reconsider having their companies ran by computers. Thanks again Debra!!

Debra was extremely helpful. She walked me through the process of renting our first unit and then when we needed a second unit we needed one right next to the one we already had. She worked quickly to get one prepared for us that had just become available and went above and beyond to get it to show available on the system so we could rent it.

I am renting 3 units with the Public Storage in Clayton and 2 of the units are suppose to be lighted units. The bulbs have not worked since day one in these units. I have requested this to be fixed over a month ago and still no one has done anything about it. I even went out and bought bulbs myself because no one was doing anything to fix it and I'm paying for these units to be lighted units. I bought the same size bulbs and it has something to do with the electrical in the units. I have been told by the property manager that it could take another month or more before they fix it. Now I have put my stuff in there and I'm sure the next excuse is going to be they can't fix it because the units are full. They should've fixed it when I had left a path for them to get to the light fixtures easily. I am paying a fortune in storage till my new home gets built but they should have fixed this before I moved in. Like really! In one of the darn units one of two of the bulbs are totally gone. Two different property managers came to the units and looked at it and saw they were not working and still nothing has been done. I'm am about to make a call to the corporate office and see if I can get something done then. Paying over $500 in storage fees/ month...FIX IT!!!

I wish I could give a better score. However this has been my WORST experience with PS. They are trying to make this property a hands off Of employees. I just got here with 1 month free. They CUT my $20 lock. Yes I was late & I paid required fees. They put their lock! After paying they DEMANDED that I replace my lock with a cheaper $1 lock! With this economy I may be LATE again. Give people A break Public Storage maybe not give bad reviews! And CLEAN your property. Expectantly the dumpster!

I would not recommend this storage company to anyone, especially the location on S. Lombard St. in Clayton, NC. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because the facility was clean and the app was easy to use. However, the staff and customer service there are terrible. I did speak to one very helpful individual when calling the 1-800 number but when I was transferred to my local facility, the representative was very, very rude, not helpful at all, and there was even another person laughing in the background. Not to mention it’s over priced. I was told if I moved out early I’d be credited for the partial month, then told that was not accurate and I was not told that. It’s just a joke there. I went with Extra Space Storage on Hwy 70 and they have been wonderful!

I love dealing with competent, caring and efficient people. Deborah at the Clayton NC office is one such person. Rented a space on Friday 3/24 and had to change the size next day. Deborah helped me to do so in a kind caring manner taking care of my problem swiftly with no stress to me. Thanks a lot Deborah.

The unit I got was suppose to be climate controlled but a lot of my items molded. There were also a lot of the large water bugs, everytime we opened up you would see 10 to 15 running. They also got in my items. I did let the person at the desk know when I turned in the keys but they did not seemed concerned .
