Giving one star because zero stars isn’t an option. I rent from out of state. There was flooding in a nearby unit and I had a friend check on my unit. Afterward, management informed me that because of damage they would need to open my unit and move anything salvageable and discard anything unsalvageable. Because I had photos of all my things being exactly as stored, I knew they would just move my things. Then, hey informed me that in less than a week they would throw away all of my things because regardless of how it looked, they would throw everything away unless I moved it at my own expense. I spent nearly $1000 out of my own pocket due to their negligence. I informed them that I will be taking legal action but it’s important all of you know not to do business with them. They also closed my account before the end of the month and didn’t refund the balance.
I too was effected by floods and the Rodents that destroyed my property how do you file a class action lawsuit against this Company??? and they continue to do business as usual LOW DOWN DIRTY SHAME. The Mexican guy who works days threaten me raised his voice and I feared for my life all behind them renting us some bogus storage space that floods and rodents that destroys your property and the only property you own in the world, you vocalize your frustration and they turn it around on you like you have no reason to be in tears..

How can they still be advertising space to rent in this dump with Black Mold growing on everything from the constant flooding. A Class Action Lawsuit is in the works and this location will be out of business very soon.
All of my things were ruined because of water damage and it's a fight with the insurance company that I have graciously paid for on time in full every month for a year along with my storage unit.
Public storage flooded and ruined my entire unit. When I went to retrieve my items, to salvage what I could, Aaron was belligerent, aggressive, and downright violent towards me. One employee handed me a paper to read and while I was reading it, Aaron began yelling at me and tore the paper from my hands. This experience has been a nightmare. I have no faith in this company or its employees to act even with the slightest amount of compassion. "We treat your stuff like our stuff" -- the biggest lie I've ever been told. "Climate controlled" -- what a scam. This building has been compromised by the elements and when they destroy your entire life worth of collected items, they will shrug their shoulders and give you the standard corporate run around. SCAM SCAM SCAM. DO NOT GIVE THESE WEASELS YOUR MONEY. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.
UPDATE: today, July 8th is first notification from PS about this manmade, Not act of god, catastrophe….playing it off like it just happened. Insult to our injuries. Contact Bar Association regarding filing class action/please contact them if you have been effected.
I am in total anger and anguish after stopping at unit to grab some important docs, only to find the place flooded, including in my unit. Priceless pics and important docs was as much as I could deal with. To know that I and others complained of water coming from ceiling last week and our concerns were ignored, and then find out they knew they had roof leaks issues…pure NEGLIGENCE. Wondering how many others were effected. Class action.

I actually rented a space back in 2016 so it has been a long time. I thought I had reviewed then but I recently even found pictures with verified location.
These were expensive and ended up having mice. I didn’t come to my unit very much but on the day I moved out I was so disgusted and took pictures.

Don’t use this storage unless you absolutely must. Hours don’t matter, they close 25-30 minutes early every day which is an issue if you work 9-5. Additionally, they will raise your rates 30%-50% every 6 months. Carts to help haul your stuff to your unit? There are zero left as they’ve allegedly been stolen, but corporate drags their heels to replace or fix anything. I pay for climate controlled storage and they used to have heating and cooling inside. It appears that is no longer the case. Lights in your unit? If they work, consider yourself lucky because when they go out, they will refuse to replace them for any reason under the sun.
Raising my rate a couple of stars because Arthur, while new, was very friendly and extremely helpful.

I called this place this morning and even though I called the number that was listed for the local facility I got the call center. They cannot answer my questions about what kind of insurance is offered for vehicle storage. They passed my number on to the local Facility Who then called and left me a message stating that to finalize my reservation to call. Why should I have to make multiple phone calls? I told the person at the call center specifically what I was wanting and what information I needed. I should not have to make more than one phone call to get the information nor should I have to be asked for everything including my blood type just to have questions answered. I should not have to get my phone number, my email address, my last name, my first borns date of birth. It's ridiculous. I don't have time to go back and forth on multiple phone calls so I'll just call the next facility.
If I can give a negative star I would! This is the absolute worst storage company that I've ever been to! There are rats and mice that destroyed my property. Along with water damage to the ceilings. The staff is very Rude.. and they are Never in the office! I've heard of 2 other ppl that had to basically give up thier furniture due to these unsanitaty conditions. Insurance doesn't pay much for rodent damage just $200 I will never in life store property or recommend my worst enemy to this place! I'm so disappointed and frustrated 😤

4.4 stars is a scam and a lie this place is garbage the older lady is a B and won’t get off her rear to help you for anything they won’t squeegee the water into the drain when it rains so your stuff will be rusty if you don’t prep for humid conditions smells like cat litter and had cockroaches…miss a payment they’ll cut your lock and make you buy another sure ok but if you need to move out and forget your key suddenly unable to cut a lock ha that’s odds and move out in the am on the first of the month too bad you’ll still be paying for the entire month Eff this place trust me

BEWARE- the building smells like urine and mildew. I never used the storage unit. They didn’t want to work with me in the office and pressured me to book online. It’s because if they show you where you will be keeping your stuff you wouldn’t rent it. They refused to give me a full refund even after telling me they would. I feel scammed and disturbed they think I should be okay with keeping my fabric items in a mold factory. Yuck.
Used their storage for about 3 months. When I changed my address, I forgot to update my credit card info, but their staff was quick to reach out to me to ensure I didn't end up paying a late fee. I really appreciated that. While on my process to empty my storage space, Lisa walked up to me and checked in to make sure I had no problems with my unit. She was very kind and attentive.
My only qualm was that the magnet on the doors weren't on, so I had to use other things to hold the door open while we moved stuff in and out. Very minor problem so I am giving them a 5 star review. Will be using this business again in the future.

I got a unit today at the one on 34th and main the sales lady was an absolute angel my daughter was going through a rough couple of day and she needed to move her stuff to a storage unit asap because people were watching it ready to take her stuff I got there late and in the nick of time. I didn’t know that you had to be all the way out by six I thought as long as you had the code you can gain access to your belongings well she came out at six and told me that they needed to close up by six I apologized and almost felt like I was holding her hostage but when I shared my daughter story she I could see the sympathy in her eyes so if she is reading this some how I am so very grateful too you and that you didn’t put us out I know you could have may God bless you Lisa

Lisa at the front was very helpful and kind. She was able to get me a storage unit fast at a fair price.
BEWARE of renting at this property you will not be able to access your storage unit beyond the office hours. She locked the whole place up so if you work at 9 to 5 you were just downright beat. Oh and holidays you can count them out too. I used my storage unit to hide all the Christmas presents for Christmas not knowing this Christmas Eve and Christmas. They weren’t even open we have to do Christmas after Christmas, so if you’re like every other hard-working person in a normal city that works Monday through Friday and sometimes on Saturdays, you won’t even have access to your own stuff oh and Sundays you can count that out that’s her day off she don’t come in

Perfect location for my needs. Super helpful staff. Lisa I think and sorry I don’t remember the other one’s name. The elevator was broken so they allowed me to change to a unit on the ground floor all on a Sunday so pretty amazing service. The carts are so convenient too. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the plastic across the top of my unit has stuff on if and I’d love to have a clean fresh one put up.

I helped a friend of mine empty out her storage unit this past month. We visited Public Storage four times, and every time Lisa was on duty. She was very friendly and patient with all our particular needs--like having to get a new entry code and working around the upper and lower outside gate closures. She was extremely kind to my friend's very energetic and outgoing young daughter, asking her about school and answering her questions about posters and notices she saw in the office. Once, we needed 10 more minutes to finish loading up, and Lisa stayed past closing time to allow us to do that.
Moving is always stressful, and Lisa really helped us through the experience by being so easy to deal with, and such a great human being!

I've rented from these people for some time and some of the people are super helpful nice and some are just downright bad people and just not the nicest the adjectives that come to mind I will not use here but some of the employees have been just straight up a holes and rude. But others have been quite pleasant. I know there was a manager there while back that was just I can't say anything but really negative things here so I won't.
I did not go there but I was standing by it though
Bianca was a wonderful worker. She was very informative and she listens very well. You can tell she knows her job very well. I believe she deserve a raise with the wonderful customer service she has. Just a heads up God Bless You.
