The property is slightly secluded, yet very accessible, well monitored and safe. Ms. Becky handles business in the office and often circulates the grounds...
She greeted me with a smile as we crossed paths today. Saying, "Hello! How are you?"...
I replied & also asked her a few questions about billing... She stopped what she was doing and invited me to come into the office with her, looked up my account, made a few clicks on her computer & surprised me with a 3 month specail... A rate that would make a great difference through this holiday season.

This place sucks. Gates do not work. The management lies to you. About it. Leaves early on Saturday. If your unit get broken into they will not contact you

The rates are good and the manager is great, but the place needs a lot of work. Deep potholes are everywhere! There are no round mirrors at the end of rows to see around blind corners. And the app rarely works to open the gate. Keypad is not one you can work from the vehicle, you have to get out and walk up to it.

My experience with Public Storage has been good up until recently when they raised my storage unit price. It was already outrageous for what service they are providing. $246 a month is just ridiculous. When I couldn't pay due to job loss, I didn't receive any help on the monthly cost, I was charged even more with late fees and lien fees. Threats of selling my stuff at Auction after paying up monthly cost was unacceptable which led to a discount being offerred for next 3 months. On a positive note, they do a good job of keeping the place safe & clean.

We've been customers alittle bit over 2yrs and needed an extra unit or to upgrade to a larger unit size. Ms. Becky, giving Awesome Customer Service once again made making our decision to do a unit transfer a "no brainer". Day of transfer Ms. Bobbi assisted us and KNOCKED IT OUT THE PARK!! Our transfer went smooth like butter!!! Not only would I recommend PS location 5601 E. 112th Terr. KC, MO. to others, this is our only "Go To Spot" for any storage needs.

I recently worked with Bobbie, the manager at the 5601 E. 112th Terrace Public Storage location, to arrange storage for a family member who was moving. After visiting several different properties, this facility impressed me the most, in particular the physical design of the units and the security practices/camera monitoring, as well as the cylinder locks they offer, which are much more secure than regular padlocks. Bobbie was very professional and provided thorough answers to my many questions. Move-in was very simple and easy; unlike some other properties, you can drive up to the units rather than have to walk long distances and/or use elevators. Nathan at the 98th and Holmes location was also extremely helpful; his facility looks like it would be another very good choice.
This is a follow-up review from several years ago--I’ve continued to be extremely pleased with the Public Storage location on 112th Terrace in south Kansas City. This is a very secure property—I’ve had no issues, and it’s reassuring that there are cameras throughout. It’s also hard to beat the convenience of being able to drive right up to my unit. Recently I needed to lower costs and also wanted to move down to a smaller space, and Bobbie, the Manager, was extremely helpful and made sure I had everything I needed to get that done. I will definitely stay with this facility for as long as I need a storage unit.

Had a great experience storing my stuff here for a few months. Easy to access, had no issues reserving a unit and making payments.
Cons: Property is in disrepair, potholes everywhere and a gutter falling off of one building. Can be hard to drive around if multiple vehicles are in the aisles, especially if they park in the middle.
Also saw multiple brown recluse spiders in my unit while moving out, so make sure you seal stuff well.
