Staff is hard to catch in the office. They rarely return phone calls. Zoe was my first contact.. she was nice and easy to work with. They had water damage this past year where I was forced to have my things moved . Many things were damaged..

I had a storage unit at the Bloomington location for almost a year. When I arrived to store my items “Tashawna” greeted me with a smile and walked me through the process. It was quick and easy. While I visited the storage unit several times over the course of the year, I only needed to visit the front office one time. Tashawna happened to be working that day and was again, courteous and helpful. I was also fortunate enough to encounter Tashawna during the “move out” process. Her smile and willingness to help were on full display on that occasion as well. I was also impressed with the facility itself. It was warm, clean, and I always felt I, and my property were secure and safe. Obviously, my experience with Public Storage was a good one! I am only giving four stars because of the rate increase!
Convenient place to store your goods, but we moved out after they doubled our rates in 10 months. Be prepared that they suck you in with a good rate, then continually raise it. We moved to another facility that was cheaper and had the same rate now for over a year.

I had some communication problems with public storage- but the property manager here (Erica) really made the process quick, easy, and efficient! Really appreciate the help! The world needs more managers like this! (Corporate - if you see this please ignore my angry voicemails - Erica deescalated the situation).
If I could give this place a zero I would. Horrible customer service. Nobody will answer the phone! Countless attempts to access my account online and add a person to my account has failed for 4 weeks. Manager refuses to help or return phone calls! The app SUCKS! My car window is down and wasn't when I left. I talked to a local who knows the place. Didn't have anything positive to say. Endless circle jerk! Go anywhere else ๐ฏ๐

I have had 3-5 units since Oct 2013 since my mom passed away & now I have 7 from a fire we had in our home Jan 2020 I've seen only a few great employees come & go & many horrible ones that shouldn't even be hired mowing lawns . All my units are at Lyndale location but 84th st one is closer so I pay there. Tashawna is a breath of fresh air & is so friendly & helpful. It almost seems unreal but it's not fake at ALL. She should be treated good & paid excellent as that is what she is giving out to their customers. Corp companies rather pay crumbs & keep paying to train those that leave within a month than to pay great to keep them. I never understand this consept. Tashawna deserves all raises before it's raise time. Just look at all the good reviews about her none bad Mr Big wig that reads this. & $25 she should get for every good review. That's what my son gets where he works. That's how you keep great employees. ( Review about one of my units. The one that's in my name)Thanks Tashawna if you read this YOU ROCK & Maybe saved a customer with now 7 units I pay on monthly. Im sick of them raising rent so idk if I'm moving to other storage yet or not butTY for helping me .

In business there is a term called being on point with your customers and training your employees In this action. Public storage staff has the most unprofessional untrained staff I have ever dealt with as a moving company company and as a professional moving company I will tell you to go elsewhere.

Was at Public Storage this evening and had a small accident (broken items) however I didn't have a broom/pan to clean up the mess. On my way to the rental office I spotted Zoe doing her rounds, I asked if I could borrow a broom/pan, she was more than willing to help. I recieved the broom/pan and she handed me two thick trash liners (safety reasons) I cleaned up the mess in my storage unit and 10 feet in each direction so nobody else had any problems. Thank You Zoe for A-1 customer service!๐
They raise the rent every 6 months any amount they choose. The floor is never swept and mopped. There isn't even a garbage can on site. You can never find a cart & they don't shovel so it's treacherous using the keypad or bringing your stuff in and out.
They changed their prices too high not good quality I wish I'd never rented out this space hated it never again and I would never ever recommend no one absolutely no one rent at this place and management total rip off

Garage doors are ALWAYS broken. You have to hop put of your car , run outside and put in your code , and run back inside and back out before the door closes. And it's like that ALL the time. Also the staff is very rude and impatient . And often park there Car in the closest spot when you pull in, making it hard to get around. Just so they can have the prime parking spot. Facility is also old and smells. They are the cheapest for a reason
