Clean place and Erica is very helpful property manager and super cool.
Met Erica the new property manager and what a breath of fresh air. The place both outside and in is cleaner than it has been in recent months as they went through a few mgrs that didn't stay or didn't make the cut. She was managing multiple locations today, quite busy as you may imagine. As busy as she was she took the time to help me solve a very time sensitive issue. Literally stopping every thing she was doing and got me squared away. Best property mgr they've had in quite some time, she's just what this property needed. Like I said at the beginning of this "what a breath of fresh air".

First meeting with Nicole was very nice, when she found my reservation. She asked me to come back Saturday morning to sign up. I came in Saturday and she got me signed up. Great rate, but mostly enjoyed her upbeat attitude, and attention to detail. PS is very lucky to have Nicole
Do not store you stuff here. It is by far the least maintained storage facility that I've even been to. We have a different unit in a neighboring city (also public storage) that is much much more maintained. Every single time I go, I have to scour the pavement for nails due to the junk that is literally everywhere. See the attached picture what I found there just last week.. you can feel free to check the data (lat, long) within the image and see that it was taken at this very facility. The general area isn't so hot either and there is trash everywhere. They also raised prices more aggressively than the other storage facility: 47% in less than 2 years where the other storage facility (in a more expensive high-end area) raised our prices 39%.
Absolutely poor customer service, the owner or manager yelled at my wife and I when all we wanted to do was return their lock when we had our own (which they charged us for). There is never anyone working at this location, the elevator is breaking down and hasn't had an inspection done since 2020, you can see the expired license in the elevator. Absolutely awful experience, avoid this location and owner at all costs he was very rude and condescending and completely unwilling to answer our questions in a reasonable way
Edit: these people are scammers, they do everything they can to try and take your money, they are rude, nobody is ever available in the office. The place smells like urine and the elevator is dangerous and uninsoected in years, noticed owners took their certification off the elevator. We moved out at the end of the month and they continued to try and charge us for a whole month because we moved after hours on the 31st but Noone was in the office all day while we kept coming by to pick our stuff up all day
Erica did a tremendous job of taking care of my requests! She found the right space, gave an excellent tour and was very professional! Public Storage should be honored to have such a wonderful and understanding employee!! Go Erica!!

I wouldn't recommend anyone to do service at this location. I signed up for a storage, ya know e-rentals and all. I had my own lock but in order to complete my rental online, I had to pay the extra $19.99 for their lock. Knowing that the website said that I would be refunded i went ahead and did it. *side not there was never anyone onsite to help. Didn't have much of a chose when I was moving out of state and needed to put my stiff somewhere because I i didn't have a moving truck. Customer service is terrible here. I've tried multiple times to get a hold of a manager that could help me with the issue of this property manager, no proper help WHATSOEVER. When there was someone there "the property manager " was highly bothered with anyone coming into the office. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! He ended up refusing my refund. Public storage needs to do better!! I have yet to hear back and get refunded!
Randy was the best help you could ask for. Give this man a promotion or a raise. He deserves it!
So I went to check out a storage locker in Bloomington Mn and the young man that was working couldn’t have been any sweeter , I going through a tough time and he was the sunshine of my day. Randy you are a very nice man and I appreciate you.

Horrible customer service. I still have the unit but I will leave in the spring. Never return or answer calls. When I called them to rent a unit, I felt like their only customer. Then that stopped and my price shot up.
Randy is the best!! He's helping me get my camper trailer unstuck from the ice that accumulated during this bad winter. Going the extra mile to help out his customers. I'll be back for sure.
Do not rent here. The elevators have not been serviced since 2019. Instead of getting them serviced they just took down the certificate which is required to be visible in the elevator. They are in such bad condition they barely move. Also there is only one cart available for moving your boxes, so there is a line of cars waiting for the cart. They raise the prices every six months, but for what this place is a dump.

It's not cool that all the snow slid off the roof in front of the door had to shovel way in to building way to long to dig through 8' wide 4'deep wet heavy snow took over an HouR got stuck inside the gate and could not get out there is a camera there watch the tape that's all I'm aloud to say !!!

There's rarely a person on site at the desk when you need someone, they don't furnish carts or dolly's to help move your heavy or bulky items and it smells like urine throughout the facility...mice? There are better storage places out there you could use.

no options for 0 stars, misrepresented price, extremely rude manager, no refund after misrepresenting size of unit by over 40%. the unit size given was 25 sq ft, the unit size received was approx. 14.69 sq ft. This is a huge difference, when politely calling to discuss he refused to hear what I was saying, I stayed polite and he hung up on me.

Randy was a great help adjusting previous mistakes made by the company (i.e Public Storage). I never got my price down to the original advertised price. However, Randy helped me knock off the price increase that the company (i.e Public Storage) added, after I politely asked several times to review. Incredibly frustrating experience with several different agents. Once I accepted that I wasn’t going to win I took what I could get. Thanks to Randy, I got the 20% price increase removed, and now only paying what I originally did not agree too, along with a month with price increase and a $20 late fee. Randy did his best but the company as a whole needs some work.
Imagine you walk into chipotle they tell u it’s $8 for a burrito. They try charging you $15 for said burrito, when it says $10 right on the menu. So you talk with them about why they would even advertise the $8 burrito and if they would honor their word. Then, they proceed to an extra $2 for not paying the $15. Then when they realize their faults they charge you $17 for a burrito just once with a promise it will go back down to $10. All the while it should’ve been an $8 burrito.

I had an awesome experience with Randy at the Bloomington PS on Lyndale. Randy was extremely patient when I had difficulty with making arrangements and really cared in seeing me through to a smooth move-in. He has a passion to help customers and make them feel welcome at PS.
Its started out I was making it hard to get locker. The Man very nice guy helped and set me up perfect. everything went smooth with his help. Seems to be there almost everyday. I've felt my stuff is safe. I've seen him do checks walking around and doing work. Good employee he's working today 6/16/22 @ 9033 Lyndale... Easy pick for my future storage

I moved out of my space on the 26th of February and I'm being hassled in emails that I owe them for March! I don't appreciate this because I have spoken to two of their employees and I'm still getting harassed to pay the bill I do not owe.
Randy showed me where my locker was, helped me get all my paperwork signed, and got me on my way in less than 20 minutes. Legendary service. A+.
Randy really helped me out of a bind. I needed same day car storage on a Sunday and he helped me get it when another location ended up being unstaffed. He managed the other waiting customers very professionally while dealing with my complex situation, and all in all saved the day!!

I was so impressed with the employees here. I had some issues arise and Ashley was most professional. Ashley was able to solve all of my issues very quickly. She was patient with me and answered all of my questions with a smile, even though she had other duties. Ashley escorted me to my unit and even came and checked on me.
