Buddy and Wendy in the rental office were incredibly helpful and friendly. They answered all of my questions and made sure I understood the contract I was signing. The units are clean, well lit, and well maintained. I was assured the facility has 24 hour security and has multiple lock checks per day.

The employees are great, but the company behind it isn't. My only advice is to not rent over a long period of time with them. They've raised my 10x10 locker to $343 (with $15 insurance). Moove In in Finksburg is $89 a month for a 10x10. That is an insane price hike that no amount of accommodations can make up for or justify. That's just predatory.

Stopped in today to look at some storage units and compare sizes for some upcoming storage needs. Wendy took her time guiding us around, showing us the facility, and different sized units. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. I was also impressed with the cleanliness and good condition of the facility, as well as the security. We had stuff stored at a different place that got broken into and stolen, and they had no cameras, and this place has better pricing.

Today, 5/20/2024, I went to Public Storage in Westminster to see the small space I reserved online. Once seeing that it was too small, Wendy sacrificed the time she was about to go to lunch to show me another larger unit that was available today.
She then transferred my original reservation to the larger unit so I could proceed today with unloading my things. Kudos to Wendy for being so dedicated and concerned in her job! I offered to pay for her lunch, but she appreciatively refused. Her lunch delay helped me a great deal, as well as her instant work to resolve my dilemma! Thanks, Wendy!!
I went to the Westminister Public Storage woth a friend to obtain a storage bin. The agent Wendy at the front desk was Very helpful and kind. We arrived at Wendy's lunch break and she assisted us for the next hour to be certain that we were completely satisfied. Thanks Public Storage for employees like Wendy! 👍

What a wonderful experience renting a unit with buddy at the main desk. He walked me thru all the steps start to finish to ensure I understood how everything works, the hours of operation And took the time to show me what my unit would look like. Very spacious and seemed bigger then expected. Buddy was very happy, upbeat and pleasant to speak to. I'm very pleased to be renting from public storage in westminster and if you need any help buddy is your guy! All around great experience and great customer service !
Great customer service
One of the worst places to store your stuff in. The staff Buddy and Wendy are unprofessional and will bribe you apon arrival, asking everyone to give them a good review for cheaper rates but will overcharge you after you lease a unit with them. I waited until they slipped up to give you my final thoughts on this location. Truth is there are way better storage locations with better prices elsewhere. If you like half fast service with mediocre results, come here. Otherwise I would suggest that you look around Westminster as there are better prices with friendlier service.
Facility is clean which is part of the reason for 3 stars. After that I rent multiple units from Westminster MD location and all the door chains to hold the door open are broken. 1 out of 4 carts work most are missing a wheel or broke. Each month the payment for the units goes up. I spend a lot of money each month storing items and at least we could have working carts and all door latches work to hold the door opens while we move and out the stuff form the indoor units. Very cheap fix and I been renting for months and these items still for unattended. We shouldn't have to go to the front desk to complain about these issues when they are doing daily walks of the 4 buildings and claim there is a Maintenace man onsite. Get better
Wendy and buddy helped me move into my unit . They were fast and friendly , the facility is clean and I feel safe when Im on the property. I will recommend my friends and family to use this for their storage needs .

I've only been using Public Storage in Westminster MD about six months from the first phone call I got Mr Buddy Marshall who had been extremely nice set up appointment time to go there, I arrived with a lady who was surprisingly ended up being rude and mean to Me. Buddy Marshall who stayed amazing calm, nice funny not slightest attitude then moving things in forgetting gate code stupid other things Mr Buddy Marshall still professional and extremely outgoing people person understanding always no attitude or frustration just always happy goes out of way to help them got problems trying to pay and I was freaking out the 800 number would not work with me but thank you Mr Buddy Marshall I did not loose my things witch are more sentimental then material things when his boss came in to auction off storage units behind or with balance I was behind but was trying to pay something
Buddy Mardhall spoke with her for me and because of him I did not loose my things he has been nothing but real amazing understanding helpful and truly understanding with real life problems and wasn't just professional the entire time but extremely went above and beyond and I can never thank him enough for doing what he didn't have to I am so grateful that GOD had him in the office every time I was there because I know anyone else wouldn't have helped because the corporate office wouldn't help me give me extra two weeks but because of Buddy Marshall I got the time and now paid up until December so corporate did do something right they hired Mr. buddy Marshall

Buddy was excellent and patient with me when my online storage reservation had issues. He even made a special trip to my unit when I had problems. I also heard him handling a call from another customer with billing issues, and he handled himself very professionally. He works a lot of hours but you can tell he loves what he doew.
This location is very clean and I feel safe when at my unit. The office staff is very helpful and professional and I feel my questions are addressed properly.
💲Update August 2023: I was upset when my rent went up by about $60 just 6 months after moving in. Due only to cost increase, I have since moved out and found a space closer to my home for considerably less.
Buddy was a nice gentleman. Customer oriented and spoke so well with me.
Because of his professionalism, I will definitely come back to the Westminster Public Storage whenever I need to.

So far, so good! The units are very clean and well-maintained and feel safe and secure. Hannah at the front office was more than helpful, she made me feel like my things would be looked after.

I had a nightmare experience with Hanover Self Storage and came here same day to see if I could get a storage unit. Buddy was amazing. He not only listened to my concerns after what I had dealt with, he also took the time to show us the units we were interested in so we could be sure they fit our needs. We ended up getting a 10x10 and we could not be happier. The grounds are damn near spotless as well as the halls for the inner units. Cannot recommend enough. Great facility and hands down great staff. Give that man a raise!

She was happy to explain the different sizes and made sure I understood all the terms and payment options. It was a very genuine experience and she was incredibly knowledgable. I've had my first storage unit for almost a year now and never had any problems. The gate has always worked without any trouble, the staff have always been welcoming and knowledgeable, and my belongings have stayed safe while they have been there. Should I ever need storage in another town the bar has been set high!

They keep raising the rent and are too expensive. Furthermore, there's no way to call the site directly. The automated process is terrible.
