Today I visited the Public Storage office on Goshen Road. As usual, I received prompt and efficient service from the property manager. Tsegab patiently answered all my questions, and I was out the door quickly. What was also impressive is how Tsegab transitioned between phone calls, helped another customer in-person, while making me feel like I still had his undivided attention the whole time, until my concern was resolved.

DONT GET A STORGE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE PROMPTED WITH DIFFERENT FEES.. I purchase a storage last November. Temperature control they said it will.be $148.00 , a few months after to be exact 5 months after they raise the fee to $208 a month. I just receive another change in contract they want to charge $50 for combinations locks. I shouldnt be force to pay for a lock if I don't want it. I understand if i loose the lock then i would have to pay. They are scammers . They wait until you get the storage and move your stuff in and then change the monthly amount and add all these fees . Yes I know I have the option to look for another storage which I will but it is such an inconvenience when companies are like this.
Great customer service at this location. My parents were looking to rent a unit and they were very confused with all the options since English isn’t their first language. Tsegab however made the whole process really easy for them. He’s really considerate, offering them a bunch of advice, and options. They love coming to this location for the great service Tsegab provides.

The person at the desk was awesome - someone had taken my assigned unit, so he was very quick to find me another. I will stop by the office next time I'm there as there is a huge chunk of drywall missing from the ceiling and it looks like there may be oil on one end of the unit... doesn't appear to have been cleaned.

HORRIBLE, zero stars
-huge hole in ceiling, causing damage to items, was told by staff “all units are like this”
-after requesting manager response, staff told me they would be fired if they referred to upper management
-door to building doesn’t open
-no response from management after repeated attempts
-costly insurance was useless
-had to contact customer service multiple times

I was very unhappy with Goshen rd location. My unit was in a building at the bottom of a very steep hill. Never any carts at building, once I had to take a cart down the steep hill through the gate. It was awful. Had to then get my car and items through gate and down hill. Door was always open To the climate controlled building that rodents could enter easily. I moved the next month to another location. I never felt my items were safe and secure from damage in goshen location. The young man that initially set up unit was nice enough.,

The staff was initially very helpful, until there was a problem. Then no one wants to help you and people get attitudes. My issue was that my items were damaged due to water and rodent issues. If you don’t have the insurance they tell you it’s nothing they can do, if you have their insurance they will not give you full replacement cost. Their game also is to get you to move in on a special, then once you are there they will keep increasing your rent a few times a year. After a few years of renting I was paying 400% more than when I paid when I moved in. They will beg you to leave positive reviews and push to have negative reviews removed.

I started renting from Public Storage in September 2021 and my rent started at $160/month, not even a year later, they raised the rent to $197, and now this month my rent will be $212. I rent a 10x10 unit - that's $21 per sq foot. It doesn't even cost that much to rent my apartment!!! I think this is absolutely unreasonable and unfortunately, I can't afford to keep paying this and will be taking my business elsewhere. Also- just beware if you have issues, you will never be able to talk to a real person on the phone. Only through the chat feature on the website or going in person.

This location has been stellar. Our business switched from EZ storage to Public Storage and could not be more pleased with the cleanliness of the facility and customer service of its staff. Not very impressed so far. Once you have rented a unit and they have your money, it's very difficult to get in touch with anyone when you have questions.
The facility seems to be well taken care of, very accessible, and safe. As a woman, I have been at the facility by myself in the dark & I have never felt scared nor threatened. There's security cameras everywhere & from the front office you can see what's being watched.
The customer service has always been kind & helpful. Bisrat, who has been there for several months after being transferred from their Rockville facility, has helped me on several occasions. It's always a pleasure to see his smiling face. Heck, it's a storage facility... customers come & go, employees come & go... it's just darn nice to interact w/ someone who really knows his job.
I rented a storage place and drove 11 hours from another state and with a sprained ankle, only to get to there and realize my space was too small and the office was closed. The next day, I went to the office and Bisrat was super helpful and accommodating. He upgraded my space to a bigger one with no charge. Smooth and easy transaction. Very nice guy.
Rent goes up too much every year. Almost 40% this year.
Originally told me the promo was available when I arrived it was not. Then they hit me with the bait and switch giving me a larger unit just to later upcharge. Throughout my stay I've encountered Petrified rodents, Facility repair which left by unit littered with excess concrete ground, and a Reoccurring water leak.
Tseqab & Bisrat were both super helpful and wanting to do the right thing, despite me being the one to have lost the key!!!! Can recommend them as customer focused and responsive
