The amount of space is great. The app is also cool for accessing the door and gate. Definitely secure.
At a most recent visit to switch to a different unit, I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Melissa who made the process a smooth and positive experience. This is not my first time at this location, or encountering Ms. Melissa who always has a pleasant and friendly demeanor. Just being this approachable, in the way she deals with current or perspective clients, was the beginning of what I would describe as a smooth and seamless move in process. I can't thank Ms. Melissa enough for exemplifying what it means to go the distance to ensure a possitive experience for the customer. Thank you again, for making the process smooth, simple and seamless.
I would like to say that I received the best care possible. Ms. Melissa one of the site attendants .represented TOP NOTCH service with assisting me with my hardship, my car failed and in order to get to work I had to fix it which turned out to be WAY more expensive than expected and I had gotten far behind in my payment to public storage. GOD graced us with a compassionate representative who jumped to action on my behalf and saved my storage from Auction. I am very old and it would be difficult to replace the things I have. If I am allowed to say I would definitely recommend Public Storage to anyone who asks as long as they continue to employ people like Ms. Melissa 💯💯👍👍

Best for short-term storage. After 6 months they jack up the rent by 40%. Still, good location, close to DC in Brentwood, MD. Melissa provides top-notch customer service, and the units are clean, dry, and well secured. The online system makes it easy to reserve a space and the app allows for seamless entry and exit.

Our situation was odd in that one of the housemembers had to enter a nursing home for an undetermined period of time in his later life. The future was unclear and so we decided to put his belongings for the time being into a storage facility. We rented it but never used it as finances were an issue to pay for the nursing home. So we cancelled a month later. The facility was very accommodating, handling the issue over the phone, making it simple for us and if we needed to go somewhere in the future we would go back there. The staff was delightful, answered every question we had without confusion, drama or an attitude and we were really greatful.

Mice poop all over my stuff
This place is horrible. They clearly have a mice problem. There is poop all in my storage unit and my things have been ruined. They don't give you notice that there is a mice problem. And then management was unhelpful and unapologetic about my things being ruined. They then offered me a free month and did not follow through on it. A clear bait and switch to try to get me to stay. Save your money and store your things elsewhere. Zero stars for management and zero stars for this buisness.
I did not read the reviews before renting and regret it. I was there for only one month and there is a major mice problem which i now realize others reviewed the same. poop all over my stuff and they chewed holes in some of my stuff. they made a major mess. when i rented the unit i thought it would be a great place to keep my stuff but i definitely should’ve went somewhere else who takes better care of their renters. when i notified them, they just told me to submit an insurance claim. if i had to choose, i would never choose to come back to this location.

Just closed out my unit been here for a little over a year the property was clean and the staff was excellent.
I wish this was where my storage unit was located. Melissa was extremely helpful and understanding of my situation. My unit is another state and I'm going to eventually move the items out of it but in the meantime I needed to make a payment in person and the other site didn't call me back on how to pay. My mom passed away in March so I was trying to hold on to the unit until I was able to go through all of her items in the unit so this situation was already stressful enough because I had lost my job and had just started back working. I wish more people were as warm, kind, empathetic, and compassionate as Melissa is. I want her employer to know that they truly have a rare gem working for them; to treat her kindly and give her all of the promotions because she is so deserving. We found out per the notes on my account that I could not pay with credit card or debit only money order and cashier’s check. Melissa was able to direct me to the nearest post office to obtain the money orders needed to pay my balance. She went the extra mile and that's rare nowadays that someone does that for a customer without being prompted to do so. Make sure you all cherish and treat Melissa well because she is rare and needs to gets all of the accolades that come her way! Bravo Melissa!

DON’T! It’s a shell game - I started at $148 and within a year after their “market price adjustments” it was nearly $300! Really deceptive.

Well they have a bunch a mice/rats. Just know that mice will be in your unit. You can smell them on certain floors. A gaggle of them seemed to chew thru a brand new chair (see below). It’s unfortunate because I think I was storing there for about three years - started off with rent at around $120 and about time that I closed out the unit it was pretty much $300 a month. They could have at least subsidized my unit since they little friends was living in there. There was also rat poop - EVERYWHERE!
This place is terrible the public storage in beltsville is way better

I pay $1000 per month for two storage lockers. When I have a question, I expect someone to answer the phone. It's disgraceful and down right unethical for you all to not offer any discounts for senior citizens. I'm sure seniors comprise a recognizable percentage of your business. What happened to corporate citizenry? Most of us are on a fixed income.

I have used this facility for many years, starting when it first opened as EZ Storage. The service was great. Since Public Storage took over, Malissa, who still works there is the greatest. I have never had negative experiences there.

My experience with Public Storage was GREAT!!! I have 2 units and my first interaction was seamless with the app and my second experience was with Melissa! She was extremely helpful with my second unit and made my move so much smoother.
Mice poop everywhere in my storage room. I do not recommend their place. SMH it’s clearly rodent infested. I don’t even have any food in my storage room so I hate the fact that they are all on my stuff pooping on everything smh
Attendant was very rude! Sat Aug 19..parents trying to pack students up for school coming from out of town and this young complaining about every and anything..
But other staff was always polite

I made a reservation online for a 5x10 storage unit. This property called to confirm my reservation TWICE and I did answer to confirm my reservation. I tried to complete payment online prior to my arrival only to be told that the unit has been taken by someone else. What is the point of making a reservation then? This goes against the very definition of a reservation. It shouldn’t be called a reservation if someone can take the unit I RESERVED anyways. It should be called a raffle instead. I am moving from nyc and imagine if I didn’t check my reservation for the THIRD time before move in day? The only solution from customer service was to make another reservation, and I wouldn’t be able to keep the same rate I locked in for my original reservation. This was a big waste of my time. Please don’t waste yours as well. I will be looking for a storage unit with another, more competent company.

I came in to get information about renting a 5x5. Pari was very friendly and knowledgeable. She showed me 2 different units on different floors, and explained the lease in detail so there wouldn’t be any gray areas. Wish this location was closer to my home because it is clean. Horrible customer service,Very unprofessional staff members and the manager is no better, They entice you with free things such as locks etc., or cheaper storage rates if you write a Review! Which there are pretty much asking you to lie for ratings. They need training on customer service Immediately!.

I've got a grudge with this place. First, I had to argue to refund a new lock since my move in date was delayed by their elevators being out of service. They don't have stairs. So I had to get someone on the phone to authorize it. Second, I had moved into a different unit to save money. The first month of the new year, my rent becomes WAY more than it used to be in my old unit. Finally, I vacated on the last day of the month, set my move out date and everything, and I'm still being charged a balance of a new month. AND ANOTHER THING, they have three hand carts for the whole building. So you better be ready to wait for one forever.

This is my first time renting a storage unit and I love it so far. The office folks are very welcoming and helpful. The facility itself is attractive, well maintained and a pleasure to use.
The two managers at this location was very helpful when it came to me and my wife renting a unit.
The young lady at the front was beyond nice to us. My grandma Green has rented a space here for almost 20 years. Smh

I rented here recently, was recommended this place by a friend of mine. I must say I have no complaints so far. The manager took good care of the place. The place seems new which is very good its very clean and I was lucky to get a spot on the 1st floor. Im happy with my experience so far.

Use my code to access and I cant even get my coat out until next Friday and they are charging so many fees for being late and ai was saving up to get a winter comforter. Cruel people times are hard

This place has gone downhill since Public Storage took over last year. Since that time I've had persistent rodent problems in my unit (I've caught 6-8 mice in as many months), and there is always a shortage of carts. As of today, they only have two, and both were in use when I showed up. This is not the first time.
The staff on-site are as helpful as they can be, but there's only so much they can do when the problems go higher. Under the previous ownership, there were always 4-6 hand carts not in use, regardless of when I was there. Having no carts available makes this storage place virtually useless.

Had my bags in this storage for two and a half weeks ! Then I finally moved into my new home and discovered five new born mice In one of my bags ! Got rid of them then moved some bags out of my closet !!! And the mother of the mice comes running out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unbelievable! Now I have to find a way to get rid of it. My whole moving in experience is now ruined !!!!

These guys only signs you to month to month contracts and CONSTANTLY raising the prices! My rental 10X10 has gone from $169 to $249 in 12 months! FIND A BETTER OPTION!
