We rented from public storage for 4 1/2 years. never had a problem. Storage stayed dry . We recently moved out of out unit. The sweet young lady in the office named Candice took care of closing out our unit. Candice was very helpful went through all the details about closing out the unit and how I would receive my receipt.Very pleasant young lady We had a few laughs. Candice was someone that you could just talk to all day . She answered all my questions with a smile. Wonderful experience.

Public Storage is a great facility that offers several different size options at reasonable prices to meet your needs. I had the pleasure of working with Ms.Teara from the belair, md location, Ms. Teara was patient with me while I had many questions and concerns on several occasions, she was thoughtful and polite and really helped when needed, I know I can count on Ms.Teara anytime to help me by phone call or in person! I haven't had the opportunity to meet any other staff at this location, but if their anything like Ms.Teara you're in good hands!
This is by far the best experience I’ve ever had at a storage unit. Teara was super nice, bubbly and funny. She helped me with my unit and was a huge help in this time of need. If y’all want a good storage spot to go to , public storage in emmorton is the place ! I will be back definitely if I ever need a storage again.

I've seen droppings when they were fixing some concrete and smashing up some old stuff it broke some glass. That was frustrating- then the entire messing up my account multiple times running up late fee or the immediate increase they warn everyone about. Be warned this place kind of blows.

Teara and Mary made my experience at this Public Storage location perfect in every way. When I first booked my unit Teara was there for me and quickly got me up and running making it so easy for me. When I no longer needed the unit and moved on Mary was there to get me checked out and she even waited at the gate for me and personally checked me in when I showed up to pack up. On my way out with my stuff both Teara and Mary were there to answer all of my questions and wish me well. What a great experience.
Mary was AMAZING at helping me with everything I needed help with and answering all the questions I had. She was very polite and kind and went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my storage space! The is the first storage space I have been to where the experience felt personal and REAL! I actually felt cared about! Mary just radiates positivity unlike I’ve ever seen before! Even when my kids were running around being loud and crazy, she was quick to politely provide activities to keep the kiddos occupied, she simply started a game of ispy with my kids and they became engaged in the game and quieted down a little, what a genius idea! I am beyond pleased with my experience and I applaud Mary for being the beautiful soul she is.

When I went today to open a storage unit public storage is the place for me. Tiera was very nice and helpful. She took the time to show me the 3 sizing 10×10, 10×15 and 10×20 unit even though it was as cold as the Dickens outside. Welcome done Tiera. Public storage on emmorton rd in Belair. If this isn't the black young ladies name I am sorry for that. But whatever her name is just know she was great..

I have been in this unit for over 10 years, Since Public Storage took over the place, it is dirty, the rates more than doubled, and the doors are broken! The door closer to the hallway on the exterior entrance has been broken for over 18 months, so the door blows open in the wind. I tell the office staff every trip, no one cares, public storage is dirty, with poor maintenance. When EZ storage owned the facility it was clean, excellent service and everything was maintained! I will be out in a month...

No one is ever in the office. I've called numerous times and was assured this would never happen again. But it keeps happening. This is the third time I'm dealing with this.
I choose this location because of its convenience even though it has many recent bad reviews. I had a pleasant experience renting a unit here. I reserved a unit online and moved my items in a few hours later. I called and spoke to someone on the phone to confirm my online booking. She was pleasant and friendly when we arrived and offered us to tour the unit before making a final decision. The unit was clean and there was a cart readily available to use for our heavier items. After reading the comments I opted for auto-pay to avoid a lockout. Rates are reasonable compared to the competition.
why is this girl always here by herself I always see her around the facility alone even witness her lift a heavy dresser into the dumpster by herself she DEF gets 5 STARS shes always nice and polite and has a smile. But Her managment gets 1 STAR from me

This place is a joke. I closed out my storage unit on 01/30/2023 at 10:50 a.m. Spoke to the two girls in the front office who said everything was taken care of and I wouldn't be charged February's rent. I was charged on 02/04, February's rent payment. I called them and they informed me I had to take my drivers license up there to get a refund. Drove back up there and they entered that in the system. I called back customer service immediately and was told I would get my refund in 7-14 business days. One month later, I am still waiting for my refund. I called today and they said it's because I checked out on 02/04 which is incorrect. This place is the worst. They just take your money and keep raising the monthly charge.
I just want to say that when I walked into the climate controlled storage for the first time that the floors looked clean and I was happy with what I saw. We needed to upgrade our storage because we rented one that was to small. Quita was amazing and super helpful. So far I think we made a good choice picking here. The $1 a month storage was super helpful for the first month too!
Dead mice all over the place, sometimes there are no carts to be found & lastly, a lock was placed on my unit because I paid 1 day late-3 weeks later, lock was on my unit. I was unable to get it taken off until the following day by calling but this was beyond inconvenient. There are plenty of other temperature controlled storage companies nearby, I suggest shopping around.
Staff is great and very helpful...prices are very high and went up without being told there would be an increase when I signed up.
$1 first month rent is a LIE, its false advertisement. Late fee charged daily and its $25 a day. DO NOT RENT A UNIT FROM THESE LYING CROOKS!!!! It's only been 2 months and I'm moving my belongings to a more trustworthy place. This review is written for my daughter, who rents the unit. Sadly, they tricked ME with their false advertisement. I'm the dummy who sent her their way.
They changed the gate codes at the beginning of the month and did not notify. Now I can’t get into my unit and the live chat is not helpful and no one is answering the phones, my email and phone are not being recognized by the system so the app and website are useless as well.

Please dont waste your time. The counter agent is rude and ignores phone calls. Ive called them every day for a week to close out my account. Left voice mails with no call back for a week. Now they are charging me for another month when my unit has been cleared. You can never get in tough with this location. “We care about your service” is a lie. They care about taking your money and thats it

If I could give a minus 0 star I would. I've been using the storage facility for 4 years. They never clean, sweep or anything. I've had the same trash in front of my unit for months. A few weeks ago I found a dead mouse in front of my unit. I called and let them know, the manager said all storage units have mice. I asked about cleaning she told me they clean but don't everyday. Came back 2 weeks later, same dead mouse and trash still there. Put the mouse in a plastic bag, took it to the office to show them it had been there for 2 weeks and trash was still there. The girl at the front desk was the rudest person I've ever seen. What an extreme attitude. She was mad because I brought the dead mouse in. She took it personally and said well I'm not going down there and cleaning it. She twisted everything I said and continued to argue with me. I asked for the managers number, she gave it to me while she was laughing like it was a joke.very rude and immature. I called the manager, she said they had an order in for the mice. All my belongings have mouse droppings all over them. Most of it is probably ruined. Will get my things out as soon as I find a clean storage unit that's not mouse infested and file an insurance claim. Don't go there.
Horrible company. I moved out in middle of June, empty unit, did the check out online because the manager is never there. A month later I get an email adding I owe for the following month, called customer service they said the manager would take care of it. Now two months later I get a call from collections. There's much better storage places than Public Storage and especially this location.

Mice! A lot of them. Terrible customer service. The girl on the weekends has been very rude, cuts office hours (she closes at 5 when they advertise till 6), and she is a terrible listener! Oh and she trash talked her manager to me!!! She needs to go! Otherwise the area is the same as it was from the previous company. Nothing special. And certainly does not go above and beyond to make a customer feel welcome.

Public storage and myself certainly didn't get off to the best start. And some of that was probably my fault as I can be a little dramatic at times. I can't promise that your experience here will be A++ but I can tell you from personal experience that if you are not satisfied with something they (Sara!!! District manager!! Shout out!!!) will go above and beyond to make you happy. I went from sad and stressed, to happy in relieved with just a 5 minute phone call. Thank you!!!!!

I just signed up today. The facility is adequate and the prices are standard for the area. Unfortunately, my experience with the office employee was less than satisfactory. She responded to my questions curtly and with an attitude. When she wrote down the wrong gate number on the piece of paper, she got even more of an attitude and said ‘well that’s why I told you verbally”. I will not recommend this place because of that experience.
