Elevators are broken. Cant access my stuff.
Elevators to the 2nd and 3rd floor have been broken since 9/16. Hopefully you won't need your items or plan to store items.
I was having difficulty with the website. Shama was extremely helpful and friendly in troubleshooting. She also escorted me to our unit and explained access and parking. It was a really easy process thanks to Shama!

Don’t expect to find anyone on the premises, rodent problem in both units and throughout the halls (I had no food in unit - & you could clearly see an opening/crack to the outside in my temperature controlled indoor unit). Very poorly ran operation unfortunately.
Rent will go up $40 every 6 months or so (started at $189, now paying over $300 for 10x10)
Unit next to mine was broken into and robbed in February 2023. Weymouth Police contacted me. Officer was disappointed after the District Manager for the area said they would reach out to me first (never has).
Not climate controlled. On hot days, the temperature inside the building is well into the 80s. On the 1st floor there is always a huge puddle which leaks into other units.
Bathrooms are always locked and there is nobody on duty.
Gate is usually broken so not secure facility.
Could be a great facility but it starts at the top and the top doesn't seem to care.

I just wanted to add to my review. I wanted to take a minute to Thank Anthony, the District Manager for this facility and Shama. I had another billing issue at this facility and I am happy to report that Anthony and Shama kindly took the time to work with me and manager the issue promptly and professionally. I really appreciate the time, service and kindness they exhibited to rectify my problem.
This place couldn’t possibly make storage more complicated and frustrating. This location doesn’t have anyone onsite, everything has to be done by appointment. Which means if you have an immediate issue, you will have to call the main number where they may or may not be able to help you after waiting on hold for at least 10 minutes. Our gate code didn’t work and it was a 1.5 hour hassle to get in and out (and the issue still isn’t actually resolved). There were other issues too that would take a short story to explain. Find a different storage place if you want a hassle-free experience.

Customer service was disappointing. If you go in to pay the unit personally or have a question about your unit or about your bill, there is never anyone around in the Weymouth Public Storage unit in at 1470 Main Street Weymouth.

So imma be honest and not beat around the bush sharma is to pushy especially on the day i started to rent a unit there she kept pushing me to post a review and it was extremely uncomfortable and after 3 months of me being there they tried going up on the rent to 130 for a 5x10 so i called customer service and they went back to a greed amount 3 months later they pushed to 130 again i tried to pay my rent on the first but the app messed up so i was NOT able to pay it or access my belongings and they charged me a $20 late fee that i had to fight to get waved i told Sharma that my stuff was going to be out by the first so she decided to lock me out of my unit over $20 witch is sad there is one property manger who helped me with pushing the late fee to waved and was wicked nice about it and wasn't pushy at all she also got me my access back so i can retrieve my belongings and move out to goto a different storage place with better prices and NO rent increases at all but if you ask me Sharma is not good at her job and makes people uncomfortable and is extremely pushy and locked me out of unit over $20 and did nothing to help me at all

I rented a 10x30 drive-up access storage space and first brought mystorage on Sunday, January 29th, 2023. The rental unit was clean, and all the details were just as expected/promised (the lock I purchased from Public was in the unit, the tab lock on the bay door was easy to break, and the mobil application allowed easy entry and exit from the secure property). But the real reason I highly recommend Public Storage at this South Weymouth MA location is one of their customer service representatives: Sharma. Sharma provided excellent customer service via telephone during the "research and decision-making phase" of seeking a storage unit, and her professional and friendly service was evident the day I used the unit for the first time. Sharma was patient with me asking questions. She made sure I understood all of the information and options related to the rental agreement and insurance, so I could make a decision that was best for me. I can honestly say tha the reason I went with Public in South Weymouth MA is because of Sharma's service over the telephone when I was "shopping for a space". And I can honestly say the reason I am recommending this Public location is because of Sharma's continued excellent service in person. A lesson for all of us... being kind, patient, and professional works to get and keep customers!!

Tried renting a storage space for car and motorcycle. After a couple of tries they were able to process the paperwork.
However just before leaving was informed I needed to pay a "prorated fee".
Asked several times what's this for ?
They didn't know. Just said "you pay".
Got refund two weeks later . . . . . moving on !

mother in law passed away over a year ago now, she has a storage unit there we don't have key to it and no one will call us back, we sent letter and many voicemails, looks like we will have to just come cut the lock off ourselves.
