Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 120 N Main Street, Brockton, MA

Extremely expensive I was late one month and they sold it without telling me. Rates more than double after being a loyal customer. I hate this place they sold my belongings I can't get back over 60$

Wish they were opened earlier and later. Doesn't open. Until 9:30 am? I believe they close around 6. Terrible hours. Always trash on the property

This place is a joke. I wish I could rate it with no stars. They lure you in with "low prices" only to offer you the most disgusting and disturbing experience that, personally, resulting in me having to throw out many of the items I had stored. I am a college student who needed a place to store my stuff over the summer while I went home. I should've known from the second I stepped into the place that it would not go well. PROBLEM 1: The facility is poorly kept. The entire place is gross, there is trash, unnamed substances, gross things that I will be haunted by, a sickening smell that forces you to breathe through your mouth the entire time you're there, the list goes on. I once came by and there was a bottle of someone's pee sitting on the stairs. PROBLEM 2: I was placed on the second story of the building, something they did not tell me until I had already paid, there is no elevator. Again, I was not informed of this until it was too late. I suffer from chronic back pain and instability due to a semi-recent severe back injury. This meant I had to constantly bring friends with me to move anything because I wasn't able to just roll my stuff to the unit. PROBLEM 3 (THE WORST): I came back from summer a few weeks ago and went to move my stuff out and discovered that the unit was infested by mice. There were dropping and pee stains everywhere on majority of the stuff I own. In addition many things were chewed through and permanently damaged/destroyed. This resulted in me having to throw out many items I own. Like I said above, I am a college student, I can't afford to be loosing my personal stuff and repaying for it. Insurance covers a small amount, but won't cover all of it. The problem is so bad in the unit it feels like a bio-hazzard to even be in there cleaning it out. In conclusion, this place is awful, overpriced, poorly managed, and disgusting. If I never have to step foot in this place again, I will die happy. Do not rent here, it's not worth it.

I give it four stars only because of the manager Thomas. There are other things that needs to be said about the place that lowers my rating. I’m so God’s for Tina’s being there Customer service calls are good too.

Great customer service from Thomas! I would personally give him 5 stars if I could! He was always very helpful and so kind. Thank you for everything Thomas. I appreciate your customer service! As for the storage place itself… my things were ruined due to a unit next to mind having food. I lost a lot of my and my child’s clothing and belongings. I have to start completely over. Still fighting with the company and the insurance itself. If you’re going to store your things here just please don’t leave food and be considerate of others belongings!

***edit 1/13/24 It looks like the people that were staying in their unit have left...not too sure how long ago but the unit smells like urine and the amount of trash around the entire building is out of control! I have been renting a unit for almost a year now and have had no problems until i went today to get my Christmas totes and the people in the unit across from me are squatting in their unit! Food and drink bags scattered between his and my unit and 2 dead mice in traps! I did go to the front office and say something but I would not recommend getting a unit in this location BECAUSE of its location!

Public Storage has good and bad in it one of the big bad things is the area is full of Narcotics and usually they have bums laying out in front of the property this is not a good sign for people who have problems protecting themselves first you have to protect the surroundings in general why have thieves waiting to rob you outside so choose another storage facility

Great price... I've just noticed a few rodent droppings, though, after maybe 6-8 months. UPDATE: And the price has been increasing every 2 months

Management has been everything that you can ask for and more. Above and beyond common curtousy. Thomas makes the storage experience simple and easy.

Saw a dead mouse in a unit as soon as one of the employees who was showing me around opened the storage unit. He moved me to another location but I should have taken that as a red flag. Fast forward 3 months later and had to throw out all of my furniture due to mice infestation. Mice urine and feces covering EVERYTHING I had in the unit. This place is dirty and in a terrible area. Will be filing a claim.

I was delighted to have my problems solved easily. I would do it again!

Brandon and Thomas were amazing! They were 1st and foremost so professional and kind- easy to talk to during this difficult situation. Extremely knowledgeable and resourceful. They made my experience so much more manageable. 2 thumbs up!

Thomas is one of the best managers I have met. He is professional ,knowledgeable, and respectful, and he has helped my mother in law unit and fixed my problems in every way that no other manager could. Thomas is a hero! We had a great conversation. This location is very busy and is located in the tough neighborhood of Brockton. It takes a lot of heart to run and maintain this site. Thomas has the heart, and he is holding it down and doing a good job running this site. The place is clean and well maintained, the office smells good, and the bathroom is clean. I recommend people to rent here. I have been a property manager for different storages for many years. I love what I do. I know it is not easy what Thomas is doing, but I can tell he loves what he does. Thomas is a big asset to your company. Please take good care of him. Good manager, don't come easy. Thank you for your kindness and help. I will recommend people to rent from Thomas! Great customer service.

Thomas the front desk worker was super sweet and made our moving experience amazing. He helped us move a lot of the heavy items into our storage container and even stayed after his shift to help! He gets a huge MVP award in my book for all his help (GIVE HIM A RAISE HE'S GREAT!)!!! Highly recommend this storage facility just because of Thomas!

This was the easiest rental I ever had and informative..

There were mice everywhere and there are piles of trash and furniture outside and inside the building. My guess because of the mice.

After I had completed my app on line. When I finally came in to office. I met Darryl who help me out very professionally When I came in I thought there was a elevator,he change my unit with no problem. I my time here was very helpful.
