Wichita Storage Units Near McConnell AFB
Self storage in Wichita is conveniently located just under two miles from McConnell Air Force Base's main gate and the Family Housing Gate, both open 24 hours a day. These nearly 800 Eastridge storage units are also just over two miles from exit 50 on the Kansas Turnpike, also known as I-35.

Location is secured like I wanted, but poor landscaping. Shrubs growing under cars, almost looks like an abandoned lot in certain spots, fence lines have over 2-3’ of grass in areas. Real poor look for the facility in the rear. Parking for trailers is a little tight in sections 2724-2747 (also poorly maintained section) Have to jackknife trailer into spot to not hit vehicle in the adjacent rows. Recommend spots 2713-2719 for trailer parking if availability. No 5 star due to the landscaping, but so far the facility is ok, will update to 5 if I see the facility gets cut during my stay. Good luck taking a left turn out of the gate though onto Rock Rd!
I’ve been here for going on 2yrs and would never even think to store anywhere else Robert is so helpful and if there is ever any issue he always goes over and beyond to help be part of the solution

I have had storage units by this same company in two different states now. I have never had such great customer service as I have had with the public storage on rock rd. I had rented a parking space to park a car in when I moved to Kansas. It turned out that I needed the car more than I thought I would at first. I was driving the car around so it wasn’t at the storage space. Robert took the time to not only notice that the car wasn’t there but he also called me to see if I was the who had the car and it wasn’t inadvertently stolen. I have never had someone care so much about my storage needs. Not only that but he also called me one day after I just left the storage unit to ask if I still wanted to pay for the space since I was driving the car around. He remembered the car after seeing it for only a few days and thought to call me. To say this man is a gift god is an understatement. I cannot thank him enough for caring and calling. He goes above and beyond and for that I will only store my stuff where he is.
Robert was absolutely amazing and helped us move to a larger storage unit due to the current unit being too small and not enough room as we thought it would work. Robert was very understanding and determined to help us however he could. Every time I go in there, he has a great attitude. He is absolutely hilarious As well, so it makes it more personal

When I started using this storage over a decade ago it was one of the nicest on the area. Now it has continued to go down. The asphalt has horrible pothole that continue to go unrepaired. The owner doesn't seem to care. What's more aggravating is our rent has continued to increase the past few years. These units are not climate controlled either. I would recommend anyone looking for a storage unit, seek elsewhere.
Not such a Good place raised my rent extremely high in less then 3 months went from $164 to $245 trying to move as soon as possible
The price just keeps going up and up and I now pay 3times what I started paying. If your not paid by the 15th of the month they cut your lock and on top of that I was robbed and there was nothing that could be done about it. I lost a computer with irreplaceable pictures and a bunch of DVDs and a blue Ray player.

I have a storage unit and just rented a parking stall. Everyone is and has always been extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Rates are affordable and I feel secure in the safety of my belongings. I would highly recommend public Storage to anyone!
Had a couple minor issues when I first got my unit, but they were all resolved. I'm now paying almost half for the same size unit I had at a Uhaul site. The mobile app has also been working fantastically.

Rent the space at your own risk.Yesterday a trailer was stolen from their lot and they care less.The lady out there would not even assist the police with video footage.If you like taking risks with your hard earned money go ahead and dump it there.Would never recommend not even storing a fishing pole.

Paying $170. Had to pay $21 for new lock worth $5. Latest:. After raising rent to $227, we stayed some more, but then said rent would be $284, so we left. Greed. Roads are potholed.

Well, I normally don't leave reviews. But, Larissa at the Public Storage location at Harry & Rock Road is an outstanding employee. I couldn't open my locker after a few years of it being closed. And, I feel like she most definitely went above and beyond to get it open. She crawled through a spider infested nightmare only to find that the ceiling had caved in. So, after about an hour of unplanned demolition...I was able to open and close the door. I have been a customer here for 7 years. They have been honest and had great service from the start. So, go rent a space today!

100% happy with my service here. First time renting a storage unit and didn't know what to expect but the property manager Larissa made everything so easy. Answered all my questions and made me feel safe storing my thing at her property. I definitely recommend you anybody.
For the most part, a really great staff; the blacktop paving could use some serious attention.
I had a bit of a bad taste in my mouth previously, however Stacy and the property manager also reached out and resolved any issues I previously had
I had a payment arrangement with them & on the day I went in to pay (Saturday 3/26/2022 @ 2:30pm) there was no one there. I tried using the app twice to pay to no avail. I tried paying this morning (3/28/2022) on the app & it still didn’t work. Finally, I left work & physically went in again around 11am & they had cut my lock without calling or trying to get in touch with me at all. I even advised the “property manager” that I had been by to try and pay & had tried several times through the app. Essentially she said tough luck and I had to pay for an additional lock after trying unsuccessfully several times to hold up to my end of our payment arrangement. On top of that; a month after I signed a rental contract agreement for $100/month and moved all of my furniture and items into my unit, they “raised rates” Basically this company will lure you in with the idea of a “fair deal” on storage pricing & then raise rates once you’ve moved all your belongings into your unit. Knowing you’ll most likely not have the time or energy to deal with the hassle of moving everything to another facility. I can’t say I agree with their business practices & if I could do it over I would 100% have gone to another company. Their customer service is sub par at best.
Gate was broken again, huge holes everywhere. Had to dodge back and forth, am very glad we are done with them
