THERE Is no one here EVER! Would not recommend this place. I was trying to move my stuff out. For a few days now and no luck I have to get a hold of the manager for him to come takeoff their lock. Like dam there should be at least one person or one manager on property at all times. Every time I’ve gone there, there’s nobody.

I have been charged for an extra month after I emptied my unit September 26, and Shawn won't answer his phone and the corporate office has my drivers license stored incorrectly so they just hung up on me right away. Plus if you get a good rate there just gonna honor it for 6 months tops and with no notice, increase your rent buy $35

Okay so I would give this place 0 stars if I could, but because of one fantastic employee (Nancy D) I have to give it 2. (Although she deserves 10 stars). We rented a 10x30 storage unit, paid in full (over $200). When we arrived, the unit that was assigned to us was a 3x6, that was ALREADY IN USE. We could not get ahold of ANYONE to help us. We only had our U-Haul for a couple more hours and did not know what to do. We had to go with an entire different company the day of and left Public Storage. I called multiple times and left multiple messages. Did not hear from anyone. Finally called a different location just so I could talk to literally ANYONE about the situation. Nancy D is the only employee who answered my call right away, followed up with me, and was able to get me my entire refund. This woman deserves a gold medal! Thank you Nancy D so much! Public Storage on Sante Fe- do better!

We’ve had things in storage for well over a year. Other than the regular rises in fees (that don’t reflect what they charge new customers) we’ve had no issues.
A week ago 5/31 we received a move out receipt. We did not request a move out, and we aren’t behind on payments. We have used the chat option and called the 1-800 number, neither could help us. The clerk at the 1800 number said they’d email the local office to contact us.
We have called every day this week and have left a couple of messages. No one answers and no one calls us back. Yesterday at around 2pm we stopped by the office and it was empty.
No one will tell us if this mistake has been corrected , if our things are still being stored, or anything. It’s extremely frustrating to not know if our items can be retrieved or are fine being stored there. Just abysmal business practices to never answer the phone or return calls.

Wow, what a rip off, I wonder what made them increase the price all the sudden there’s many more comparable stores in the area for better prices then this, why would people want to pay more then they can afford. I’m pretty sure they don’t have business now that is why they are trying to make money out of current customers. How corrupt, also they would bug you with emails with 2-3 weeks prior to your payment even though it is automatically set up with your bank. They hide carts as well which are supposed to be available for use not hidden and their is dumpster but not to throw anything……why would they want to have such thing then…. I gave myself 5 stars to be honest in this dishonest world. When go after hours in dark there’s random people watch you who doesn’t even have anything in that building and they don’t even work their.

The facility is nice, navigating to my storage unit was pretty easy, and Rick at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I had went online and completed the entire process there, but we had a couple questions that Rick answered thoroughly. I have yet to move my stuff into the unit, but I feel that I made the right choice in self-storage facilities.

Super glad I pay what I pay for no-longer-in-fact climate controlled units. Wasn’t originally a PS when we got our unit but disappointed to find out they’d sold it to PS. Figured we’d give them a fair shake, knowing it was about to be a terrible experience.

If you can avoid PS— do so. If it’s your only option, good luck.

Was amazing when it was CubeSmart. Public Storage took over and raised rates every 60 days. Increased cost of unit by $200 in 6 months and for what? The staff is hardly available during business hours, garage door to make moving items in and out easier has been broken for months. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

This fellow Rick came in on a Sunday to complete my contract and was very friendly and knowledgeable.
I just want to say that I have never seen so many good reviews for 1 single person. Jessica, who was the previous property manager, had over 100 excellent reviews from customers that have been lucky enough to receive her wonderful customer service. I was actually giving a "not so good" review from a different property manager, who was there this morning and handled my situation in a very uncaring and unprofessional manner. But...kuddos to Jessica and I hope that she has received a promotion for her wonderful customer service skills! 5 stars on "this specific rating,"...but it is for Jessica...and maybe a very few employees that I've talked with on the phone...but definitely not the property manager who was there this morning (Friday 3/25/22)...who didn't even take any time at all to listen to my situation.

My storage fee was due today. I was told by the unit manager that if it wasn't paid by Midnight tonight that my unit would go into auction. I didn't feel like driving to Missouri to the actual unit. So I went to another location close to my house. I was paying cash. Shawn and his manager went above and beyond helping me find the store number for the James A Reed location. I called the property. No answer. I called the 800 number I was on hold for forever. But these two guys located the store number and I was able to pay my bill. If it wasn't for them my belongings would have been on Storage Wars tomorrow. Thank u again Shawn and your Manager for saving my precious belongings!!!
