Kelli was the absolute best.
I moved back to KC from Texas. I sold my home in Texas before I was able to buy one in KC. this required me to store all my worldly possessions in storage units. I rented two units from this location on the same day. Paid for them both on the same day and closed them both on the same day.
Both were quite dirty when I opened them the first time. One had the walls falling inwards. I had to bring in a large truck to unload and navigating the over filled lanes was very difficult. If you are unskilled at operating a large truck you will not me able to navigate this location>
When I checked out of both units on the same day I was given a credit for one and charged extra for the other. There was no difference in anything I did. Both the credit and the extra chargers were completely arbitrary.
The automatic gate operating from your phone is very handy. But the app is one of the worst I have every experienced. And do not try to call or locate anyone on site. They do not answer or return calls (left 3 messages over two days) and the facility operator may or may not be there. If she is not you just get to wait until she shows up.
I would suggest that there are better options at similar prices and would not recommend this location.

Look for all the hidden costs! I drove to this location to pay my bill….. nobody there to pay BUT there is a number to call to pay
45 minutes later not being able to talk to a human the computer tells me I can pay through it for an additional $10 courtesy fee!!!!

Friendly personal , and affordable storage
I’ve had my unit for a bit more than 4 years now. Every interaction with long time employee Kelli has been delightful. She helped me with all the ins and outs as well as answered all the questions I’ve had throughout the 4 years. The space has always been in proper order. Really appreciate the easy gate access with the new app system too!

I have used public storage in the past at a different location and i did not like it employees were very rude and were not helpful at all! I was iffy about returning to public storage but i decided to give it another try (Different location) I was very happy with Kelli she was very helpful she made the process super quick and easy! She answered all my questions and gave me recommendations on what i should use to protect my furniture. The store was very clean and organized! Highly recommend this location!

Lady was very friendly and helpful. When I first got a unit to rent. Then I noticed my clothes and furniture was showing mold growing on it. Then when moved out they threatened to charge me$100.00 for throwing my trash in their dumpster. When I argued to see what place wants you to clean up after yourselves but wont let you use your trash can. The district manager joined the conversation with "we could of charged you 10,000 $ if I would of just read their sign.

Had to get unit after our landlord had all the sudden evicted us after being payed ahead on rent so was thrown into a chaos situation and called all around and the manager here Kelli was so helpful with us and has worked with us so much highly recommend

Just recently went through a divorce. That statement alone should explain the hell of my situation. I reached out to many storage places, and Kelli at public storage not only was professional, but went the extra mile when she didn't have to. The manager Kelli got me into a unit quickly, and very reasonably priced. Upon arrival I was impressed at how this place was tucked away, and very secure. I had an issue with getting into the gate, and it was fixed before I could even attempt a a 2nd try at the gate. It is one thing to feel like your stuff is protected and especially during a hard time. It is a whole other to feel like the manager actually cares about you and your stuff. I HIGHLY recommend this place! You get more than just storage! You actually have staff on site that will professionally and promptly assist you above an beyond! Thank you Kelli!
Any situation where someone would need a storage unit from what I have seen is stressful. Not at this place. The level of professionalism, and care from the manager Kelli at this location is worth beyond what you are paying. The facility is well secured, but still easy access for its customers. Miss Kelli not only manages the facility, but she takes personal care with everyone who walks through the door, and I was impressed over her personal care and interest is helping make my situation easier. If you want the best possible experience in whatever your situation is to get your stuff in a safe place with good people this place and Miss Kelli are an asset and the best bang for your buck!
Rented a unit today...Kelli, was super nice/ pleasant/ relatable, more than helpful, and made it very quick and easy(despite the fact that I mistakenly made 3 reservations online, oops!). Customer service is definitely priority for her, and that is priceless these days!

I helped the previous reviewer in their move. I also wanted to express how easy Kelly made it to check in and move our things despite the bad weather. Not only was she was really patient teaching us the app so we can access the locker using only the phone and did everything possible to make it easy for us to get in quickly so we wouldn't be waiting in the cold. Kelly was a lifesaver, thank you.
I wanted to take the time to write a review because of this facility's excellent customer service. In particular, I wanted to thank Kelly, who was working on our first trip to the location. She went the extra mile to make sure that we had a seamless move of our things into the storage unit and that we understood the process. She was incredibly helpful even though we were going through a stressful move. We just wanted to say thank you again to Kelly for appreciating our business and cirumstances.

They are liars are never there to pay a bill but quick to charge you Late fees when it's clearly not your fault and you've been coming up here every day to pay your bill in cash and when the store says open 930 To 530 and no one shows up for 2 weeks
