I rented a storage unit that I decided to cancel three days later. I was refunded for the lock, but not for my deposit. I spoke to a helpful representative who advised me to reach out to customer service. However, when I did, I was treated disrespectfully and informed that my deposit was non-refundable in a rude manner.
As a result, I disputed the charge with my bank. Following this, I received a call from a store chain manager who was unprofessional and aggressive, leading me to end the call. I have since been informed that I have a balance of $100 and that it will be sent to collections if not paid.
This entire experience has left me feeling frustrated and disrespected as a customer.

Update 01/27/2022
Today I went to access my unit . Snow Removal was not done and it was disappointing to see the surface full of snow and slippery. Upon asking the Customer Service agent, I was told that Snow removal service is not finished cleaning yet although it has been 5 days since the last snow fall which was around 3 inches.
Also I was told just today that Snow in front of unit is my responsibility which untill now i have not seen any where in writing.
Initially I was told that Manager Lives onsite and snow removal is done rite away.
Kinda disappointed to see. I hope it gets cleaned ASAP.

Khalilah was ready for us. And called to confirm the reservation.
Our Online deal was for 1$ first month but when u get there U R required ( no choice) to buy the lock 19.99$ from them and also a Dump ( 8$).plus 24$ service fees for first time only so ur total move in cost goes from (1+24)(as described in ur reservation ) to 55$. Bc of lock and dump .
Still cheaper then others but Lock and Dump
Should be a choice for customer and not a must to buy from them .
Also starting 2nd month Cust must buy insurance ( whether their own or from PS 15$ / month

I started with Wes who was patient and helped answer my initial questions. Then I was very impressed with Khalilah, who not only answered additional questions, but helped walk me through the rental application process and patiently answering follow-up questions once the rental agreement was completed. I wouldn't go anywhere else after my experience with Public Storage. #Exceptional
