At the Finley location in Lombard Barb has been so nice & so helpful. It's always great to see her there when I come. Unfortunately she hasn't regular hours there The Kiosk concept is a joke & an insult to both loyal customers & employees. Angie is also a great employee.

Melanie was very helpful when I initially got the unit and when I changed to a smaller one. She was prompt and professional in answering my questions and addressing my concerns, not to mention friendly! I would definitely recommend using Public Storage to friends and family.
The sign up process was so easy! I walked to the building, pressed a button on a digital sign, and talked with a live agent virtually. She walked me through the process of selecting a unit, and she told me I can also select one online (which was cheaper, so that's what I did).
Then I got a code via text, entered the gate, walked to my unit (where my lock and key were waiting), and that was it. The whole process took less than five minutes probably.
Plus, the price for a climate controlled unit was competitive if not a bit better than average.
Attendant was very helpful in navigating my needs into the best choice for my needs.

Called and spoke to a woman named Melanie. She answered all my questions. She was polite and curtious. I'm in the process of moving and she helped me pick the best storage unit for my budget. 10/10 would talk to her again.

Had to leave a review because the manager, Melanie, is literally the best manager I have ever worked with about a storage unit, or anything for that matter. She was SO attentive, kind, helpful, and on top of everything. I was nervous about moving out of a storage unit for the first time and how the process goes (I didn’t want to miss any steps), but I was blessed with Melanie being the manager here and helping me make moving out a BREEZE. I had a unique situation, too, because my storage unit was originally in someone else’s name, plus I had some large things in my storage unit. She even called me later to check-in and explain some things to me on the phone. She helped me resolve everything and if I didn’t have to move storage units due to a work location issue, I’d still be here! Thank you Melanie for being extremely helpful and going above and beyond; definitely leaving Public Storage with an amazing experience in mind!

This is the place to go if you want friendly, professional service. It is clean and very dependable. The staff goes beyond and above to help her customers. Melanie is the manager and is warm and helpful with anything you need. No question goes unanswered. I have two storage units here; if I need anything, I never hesitate to ask.

Terrible! Don't let them trick you. This place is disgusting. Before you leave after you sign the agreement they "ask" you while you're standing there to write a 5 star review and that's why they have a 4.9 star rating. They only have 2 public bathrooms and one of them isn't even in operation!! The other one never has toilet paper and now the door doesn't lock so you just have to hope no one walks in on you. Not to mention the SPIDER webs all over above the lockers. Its disgusting and as I'm going though my stuff to move out I'm afraid of how many bugs I'm going to find 🤢. I've been renting for over a year here and enough is enough. Please look for a better place to rent!! The other places might cost more but it's worth it to have a clean facility.

This public storage is a mixed bag. Overall the location is clean, easy to reach, and priced competitively. The biggest drawback is trying to get a hold of someone, especially if you are trying to close out a unit. Calling the main Public Storage # doesn't allow for you to actually talk to a person leaving you with the only option of driving by to see if a person is in the office. The one time I asked if some maintenance could be done to my unit as the insulation had fallen on top of the cage, I received the response "that would mean I have to put in a work order". Needless to say the work didn't get done for years.
Johnny is the best! The customer service here is always marvelous at Finely. I highly recommend this place for Storage
We absolutely love the customer service experience that Johnny provides at this location. With all the stress and anxiety of moving, Johnny and his upbeat personality helped brighten our days. He was happy to give us a tour of his location prior to us committing to a space so we could make an informed decision.

When I registered for a unit Kim who was the manager on duty was extremely helpful. This is my first storage unit that I got and he made it very easy for me.
I eventually had to get a another storage space and Kim again was extremely helpful in obtaining this second unit for me.
If it wasn't for Kim's kind nature and friendly demeanor I probably would have gone someplace else.
