20 July 2024 I found this Justice, IL Public Storage facility in my search to move out of a poorly managed facility located at 79th & Sayre. My initial phone call inquiry was handled by Barb. Her OUTSTANDING customer service skills immediately held my attention. I asked many questions and was shockingly pleased that ALL my questions were answered AND! Barb followed up with some open items and provided the responses as promised, when promised.
As a direct result of my conversation with Barb, I subsequently went in person to the Justice, IL location to get a visual on the layout, to see the units and to determine their level of cleanliness.
Tim, the property manager, greeted me with a warm welcome and a GREAT smile. I thought to myself: “WOW! What a promising first impression! Here’s a manager who knows his area of responsibility, takes ownership and executes with a confidence no longer common in today’s customer service.” Tim truly embodies the term “SERVICE!” After his introduction, Tim willingly took me to see the units in which I was interested. I say willingly, because my experience with other PS locations has shown a lackluster response to the paying customer. Like Barb, Tim answered ALL my questions and provided helpful options.
I’m happy, proud and relieved to report that Tim, the property manager knows how to manage his property! Not only was the office clean and organized, but equally important, the units were clean and swept. AND(!) the interior walls of the units were spider-web free (unlike the facility on 79th Street, whose units are neglected and FILTHY!!).
The kindness, professionalism, courtesy, humor, knowledge and follow through demonstrated by this duo tag team of Tim & Barb have made my decision for me. I am relocating to this facility and am sure that my future storage needs will be met under the leadership of Tim & Barb.
Tim & Barb, thank you for being good, decent human beings. Thank you for executing your duties with integrity and character. Thank you for taking pride in your facility and for treating others the way you’d like to be treated. It makes a difference! You’ve demonstrated that kindness matters! This is the place!! I'm from the south and I was sure glad that a man with manners and etiquette works here! I'm 65 and needed all the help I could get lol. Thank you to Tim! These old bones appreciated ol time customer service! Lord knows I've had enough bad service so I appreciated great value and customer service. If he wasn't working I'd ask him for coffee!
I have 2 businesses and have equipment to store. I have to constantly go in and out for jobs and my business. I appreciate a straight forward person and Tim made sure what I needed I got. The guy was a great help. Clean and I appreciate the deal. I’ll update more but so far so good! Better than anywhere else I’ve had to use in this area. Keep it up.

After having to move quickly, I found this site online and because it seemed safe and had great reviews I picked it over others. The gentleman at the counter was soo helpful with all the information and options. He was a blessing. Needless to say his advice was great and he was right the bigger size was necessary! The price was great!!! I felt safe and this is the cleanest storage place I’ve ever used and my unit smelled like lemons, Timm made a bad situation so much better and I felt like I had someone helping me get through it! I recommend this place to anyone and especially women. Total gentlemen and helpful!
Wanted to add with the bad weather and having to remove stuff during the heat, The manager or owner Tim was great again. If you’re a woman this is the place. Always polite, never condescending and always willing to help with advice, suggestions and supplies and the realistic expectations for fitting stuff!!!

So I rented a unit here last month. I dealt with a lady named bard. She was amazing, my deal is not her at all. I rented as a business. I requested 24 hour access. It took almost a week. That’s ridiculous as it’s being used as a business and need the unit access at all times. Second I seen that someone was tampering with my lock. There are cut marks on my lock. Just very disappointing cause it was a nice place. But to much money in equipment to take a chance on the unit getting broken into.

Just had a mistake happen. (totally my fault) I basically put my things into a unit over from mine because the unit labeling was on each side so I was confused!
Just walked in and spoke to TIM and he was as nice as can be. Took care of me in such a courteous manner I had to leave a review.
You only get him on mondays though guys so if you need someone who will help you and get you the info you need I highly recommend TIM.

This is the absolute worst public storage I’ve ever been to. 1# I can’t make payments because they banned my account. #2 the manager that is black woman named crystal and barb wont answer my phone calls and puts me on voicemail each time I call. #3 each time I call a young lady answers the phone and tells me she’ll contact the manager for me but ends up hanging up. #4 my car is stored in unit D179 10x15 and it’s been there since 04/08/22. My payments been blocked and couldn’t make any payments at all. I was in vacation out of state and they took advantage of me and my property. This been going on for months now, it’s already 02/20/23 new year and still can’t get access to my property or any management. Customer service is terrible I n ed my property back and a refund. My lawyers are on standby ready to start this case in court. Justice will be serve, not today not tomorrow but now!!! Over $50k worth of property in that storage unit, important legal documents that will be imprisoned forever if tampered. Everything single item in that storage unit has been taken pictures set accordingly. I have prove of everything, emails, phone calls, voicemails. I’m done waiting and playing games.
Not sure about other locations but this one has a worker name Crystal who go over and beyond for customers. She truly is a wonderful person who explains everything in a clear manner. She was heading out for lunch and stop what she was doing to help me find the unit and taught me how to easily open the unit. Great location with great employees
