I have used Public Storage multiple times over the last few years. I always use the same location.
The space at 2900 hundred block of N. Western Ave. in Chicago. There is one reason that this happens. REBECCA!
Moving is hard enough. But, Rebecca eases the pain! Her customer service makes the experience of moving in and out of the facility the smoothest part of the day. She always remembers my name! She always has a smile.
She always has all the answers to my questions at the ready! This woman even helped be with my garbage!!!!!! My friends don’t even do that!!!
This is the best storage spot in the city. Hence they are always busy.

I had to move my things into storage after COVID, and I was apprehensive about public storage, which one to use, scams, etc. Rebecca and her team were nothing but professional, polite, and accomodating during my several years using the facility.
I think that the app is intuitely easy, using the code boxes to get in and out of the facility were convenient, and the staff did everything they could to keep the facility clean, lights up, plenty of carts, elevator responsive, and an overall feeling of me and my belongings being safe and secure.
The location was perfect for me, and I wouldn't hesitate to use Public Storage again.

I want to say that this PS was very easy and conveinient to use. The people who worked at the facility were very nice and helpful. In fact, the woman who I interacted with (I wish I could remember her name) was AWESOME and deserves a raise. My only complaint is how Public Storage constantly jacks your rate up. It feels like a little bit of a bait and switch and taking advantage of people when they're transitioning. Not at all the fault of the employees, but corporate greed. I would recommend this place, but don't stay more than a year. ...and I just remembered that they only have 2 working flat carts out of 3 and the wheels on the things suck. You start hitting bumps and all of your stuff will start falling off of the cart. For as much as even my little 5x5 cost over a year they can afford to get more and better carts to move to your unit.

My first time reserving a unit was super smooth with Mary helping! I got to see the space before signing and never felt pressured for any upsells. While on the top floor and the elevator can be slow, the place was very clean. Mary was also patient with my questions and super nice.

Edited 1/3/21- Though I assume this is probably standard in the storage industry, Public Storage routinely raises their fee, and it's just about out of range for us now. Also, we are on the top floor. There was water damage visible on the ceiling, but they assured us that the roof leak had been repaired. But it reeks of mold/mildew in our unit. (It did not smell when we moved in, or we wouldn't have accepted that space.) So, everything we have there will stink, and we won't take anything there that could pick up the odors. No longer happy with Public Storage, and we are shopping around to move elsewhere.
So far, so good. We recently rented a storage unit at this location. This is our first time doing business with Public Storage. We were looking for a unit somewhat close to home with the best rate at the time on the size we needed. I was impressed by how friendly and helpful the staff were! Rickey was the employee that walked us through the process, and he was fantastic. He was new and training, and it all still went smoothly. They ask a whole lot of questions, I assume to be sure that you've selected the correct size for your needs, so the initial visit is not fast. We have yet to move anything into the space, but I anticipate all will continue to go well.
Very friendly people work here and let us store a trailer overnight in the locked parking which was very secure. If I needed to store anything, I would definitely go here first......

I used a storage locker here for 4 months while I planned to be living across the country for awhile. The staff here, whenever I interacted with them, were super nice and helpful. That's something you don't quite expect from a storage place, but it was great!
The pricing on the unit was good and the process was super easy. They do month by month and have a lot of options for how much space you need. Not sure when I plan to use storage again, but if I ever do again I'd come here.

Rebecca was very helpful with assisting me with a lost key and a move out! She made sure I was able to access my unit and gave me an extra day to remove all of my belongings. She went over and beyond to help me. Her assistance made my move out very smooth and stress free! Overall, my experience at public storage was very positive. The facility is clean, odorless, and it was always easy to access my unit.
Normally, renting a storage unit can be a bit of a pain in the butt... NOT HERE! This facility is a great place to quickly rent a storage unit. Both Ladies at the front desk were true professionals, kind, polite and just plain awesome. Very pleasant experience. I highly recommend!

Rebecca was great when I arrived on site to inspect the unit. She walked me up to the unit, made sure i understood how the building access worked with the app, and helped me put together a plan for when the movers came.
Becky followed up on the phone just prior to my move in date to run through final details, and make sure that all my questions and concerns were covered.

It was the EASIEST part of my complicated moving journey! Laquitha took her time and explained every part of my rental, the entry process, and explained how to work my new lock! She set up my account and sent me on my way! I think I will be a long-term Public Storage customer!

During a pretty complicated move to Chicago, I needed temporary storage space, so I found this Public Storage facility near my new apartment online. Rebecca confirmed my rental agreement over the phone, and I was all set. What started out as a couple month rental became a full year - it really helped manage the overflow from a tiny apartment! If you’re looking for clean, secure, climate controlled storage at a reasonable price, give them a try. And special shout out to Rebecca for always being courteous and helpful - she rocks!

Overall my experience was wonderful as my needs were met and environment was clean, warm, and welcoming, due to the friendly staff Laquitha and Rebecca very awesome team with amazing customer service. I learned that Laquitha is fairly new but she was absolutely great as my needs were satisfied. I definitely felt motivated and trustworthy to rent from here. Rebecca and Laquitha were extremely helpful and would highly recommend to rent a storage space from the establishment and those two wonderful ladies.
