MOVE OUT SCAM!! I utilized this storage facility for almost 2 years and never had a problem until check out.
I cleaned my unit a few days before my check out date. Went in on the check out date to grab the last of my items.
I called the facility to say hey I moved out thank you! I received my check out email saying that I had no balance.
I then received a voicemail stating that I had placed items in the dumpster and that I had 24 hours to empty the things out that I had put in or be charged $200.00 cleaning fee!!
Well here’s the kicker. I don’t even know where the dumpster is located and had placed no items in it.
I called and I was told that they have me on camera loading things into the dumpster. That I was the only person on the premises at the time this dumpster was filled. I said impossible. I was only on the premises for less than 20 min and I don’t know where your dumpsters are located. I requested that the footage of me placing things in the dumpster be sent to me or I can come in to view the footage. I was told NO! That a GM will give me a call.
