Rent went up a MASSIVE amount and keeps going up! If you try and pay over the phone there's a fee of $10-$20!! This used to be locally owned ans affordable now it's just a joke.

I thought I was renting a 24 hour access storage unit. But I was mistaken, only the website is accessible 24 hours a day. The ads are deceiving.
Had a very good experience with Warren. He was informative and respectful. Filled out my lease online and got my unit in about 20-25 minutes.
Way over price shop around don't store your stuff there found the same size unit for $120 where there cost is $179 for the same size unit at the other place
In under one year, rent (for zero power or climate control) for a basic unit went up over 300%. Each increase came with a moments notice. Long list of reasons why we’re going elsewhere. But, if this could be zero stars it would be.
I put my personal lock on my storage unit and they put their public storage sticker on it i don't know why but i would appreciate it if they wouldn't have done it because it's not their property and now it's hard to get the sticker off the lock that i bought for the storage unit and it's unprofessional what they have done
We ordered for a 10x5 but it was more like a 10x3. They get away with it by saying the size is an "estimate". I don't recommend paying for anything until you've seen the space.

Very quiet and clean facility and the employees are great and very helpful. They are there if you need help and also they leave you alone if you don't. That's the way some people like it.
Didn't have auto pay setup, still took money without me authorizing it. Will be disputing and taking that back.
I love this place especially one of the managers "marti" not only is she extremely helpful, she's sweet and damn funny. No matter how small or big the task she's first up willing to help in any way. Thanks marti.

Hi, I just closed my 2 units at public storage last weekend. And they did not refund my money that they owe me back for the rest of the remainder of the month and I have 2 units. Now I got the remainder of the month on my other third unit 8 months ago. Anyway, bottom line as this company is a scam. They hound you about money on like the 10th of the month when you're paying, it's not due till the first and then they won't give us our money back. Stay clear away from them. There's better places to go.
Awesome short term rental experience storing some of our early move items, as we moved from California to Beautiful Idaho. Easy online rental along with an app that makes getting in and out a breeze. When it was time to vacate Warren made the process of closing our account just as easy as the initial rental. If you have storage needs, large or small in the Nampa/Caldwell area... Public Storage in Nampa is your go to place. Thank You Warren!

Prices were raised by 25% a month. Will be switching to a cheaper company.
Storage companies have such little overhead cost, that raising prices is pure greed.
Their profit margins are incredibly high, so this is just gutting average people.
Easy choice to leave.
EDIT: They offered a coupon temporarily which will lower my monthly bill to its original. I changed my review from a one star to a three star as a result of their willingness to work with me. Thank you to whomever made that decision.
I just have to say Warren and Marti were so kind and helpful. This is my second time coming into the place. My son rented me a unit there and I was having problems and they helped me. They deserve a huge bonus.
The storage unit is great. easy to get in and out of and everything is very clean. recently i went there and the bathroom was out of order. i talked to the receptionist about a bathroom to use and i guess they don't have one for themselves? she was very horrible and rude.
Raised rent from 165 to 240 in 6 months, shortened hours of accessibility and if you don't leave at exactly 9 pm the gate will not open, not even for the Nampa police department.... had to use an emergency fire access key. Not professional at all.
If I could rate less than 1, I would.

I went into The Public storage earlier today to get a unit and spoke with a lady named Marti. She was super helpful and made the whole process as easy as can be. She showed me the unit and went over everything very professionally. If you go to this location ask for Marti and you'll have a great experience!

She helped my elderly father Jack rent a unit today she was so patient with him n explained everything so clearly to him that he understood what he was getting. My brother recently passed away and had storage unit keys in his truck. I have called over 20 different storage companies to find out if he was renting a unit from them and Public Storage is the ONLY storage company who was unwilling to look to see if he was renting a unit from them.
I chose to rent units with Big Storage because I could pay for 6 months and was supposed to get a small discount. Since I am a senior this helps. Yesterday, I found out that I needed to pay again and can only pay for one month at a time and no discounts. This seems like bait and switch. When I rented, the young man notified their office that I did not receive all my discounts. I sent two requests reminding this and never heard back. Yesterday, I was told that I needed to pay by Jan 1 and they were not even courteous enough to send a billing by email or mail and explaining they had changed their policy. I am considering hiring a moving company and moving from the three units to another location. How many people will not know of the billing changes and lose their belongs? I am not impressed.
We moved from Colorado back to Idaho and the manager was the best. Customer service is fantastic. They met the moving van and made everything so easy. Very clean and security is top notch.

Terrible service.. to the owners reply...my name is Shannon...not Sharon....I rented a dirty truck and was given terrible customer service before and after renting... you called me trying to get me to change my reviews saying you had contacted uhaul and they would compensate me...don't want anything for free nor did I...but fake promises to get me to change review made matters worse...js
