TLDR at the bottom cause this will be long. I tried to move in here but found out that my lawn tractor doesn't quite fit through the door. So, I called their customer service number to try to find a solution and was ultimately forwarded to their sales team and they were a great help. They found me a unit that was roughly the same size but had a wider door, and this new unit even had a better move in bonus rate, but it was unfortunately at a different facility (which will come into play later). They then sent me to their customer service team to close out my account at the first facility and get the money that I already paid to move in sent to my account at the new facility. They were also pretty helpful and seemed to do the best they could. Here's the rub, because I had initiated a move in at one facility and my new unit was at a different facility, their system couldn't tell that I was actually a new customer and wouldn't give me the proper move in bonus rate even though I could clearly see that I should be getting it when I pulled up the quote. I spoke with their customer service team several times to get it straightened out, but it seemed that they were unable or unwilling to untangle this mess I had found myself in. Well, since I already rented a trailer and had everything loaded up, I decided to bite the proverbial bullet and just sort it out later as best as I could, but I had a feeling that I wasn't getting any bonuses that I felt that I was owed. I did see a few days later that my account looked to be mostly untangled and that I had gotten what looked to be the move in bonus from the first unit applied to the second and felt that was good enough considering the circumstances.
Then today, I got a call from the district manager who had received my move in survey and when she read through my comments, took it upon herself to try to resolve everything. She was able to completely refund all charges incurred under the first account and apply it to the new unit, give me the move in bonus that I should have gotten, and gave me a call to apologize for the mess and tell me what she did to get it all straightened out. I can't tell you how pleased and surprised I was to hear from her and I think they've won me over as a future customer. I would highly recommend using their facilities since what they did was go above and beyond by today's practices of basically using beurocracy as a shield against making the customer happy.
TLDR: I had a rough move in experience and thought I wasn't going to get the rates and bonuses and some money that I had already payed in at one unit applied to a different unit that fit all of my stuff, but the regional manager really came through and made me a very happy customer.
QUOTES ARE WRONG AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A TON MORE ONCE YOURE MOVED IN because they know that its a pain to move again. Raised the rate months ago and have been charging auto deducting us $352 a month for a 10x20. Hoping to get a call back or will have to move out. That's ridiculous. Gives u the run around. Tells u in order to get the rate they quote u have to do online yet again and move again to a new unit. Do NOT rent from here. I expect a phone call to fix this situation. This cannot be legal. How asinine.

Super clean and secure - but the app to open the gate does not work coming or going (says not in tange when i am close enough topunch numbers in or rightby the gate.) I think that must not be working. Otherwise very happy. In fact i wasn't going ot bring my Christmas boxes, sketches, and art there until i saw how clean it was inside the unit.

This place will slowly rob you over time. My initial rate was $268/months. Over the last year they have incrementally raised it and it is now $443! When I called and asked why they said they can rise it whenever the like based on “market value”. They are robbing people blind. Before you know it, the storage facility will be the same as renting an apartment. Scam artists.

I have been a long time, on time payment, clean, and kind customer for nearly 2 years. My rent has gone up 3 separate times with over a $100 increase. I have not been notified of any of the increases and when speaking with employees about the issues they offer “new customers” the same size unit I have for $160 a month. I am now paying $300. This is price gouging, it is completely unethical and illegal in the states of Idaho, Title 48; chapter 6 of the legislation. DO NOT use public storage if you want to be shown any shred of respect and common decency. This company will not help you with anything. They will not answer questions. They don’t care about their customers. They only just see $$$. I asked to be switched to a unit that is $160 a month and they refused to help me. I will be going with any one of their competitors as they will show me the respect and communication that any paying customer deserves.

I love how you can open the gate via your phone and Bluetooth! I've had many storages throughout the valley. Public Storage is the only place that offers this out of all the places I've rented at.
Automatic is awesome
The only reason public storage on eagle road gets 2 stars is because of the cleanliness. That’s the only good.
Now for the bad. Customer service is nonexistent. There are people who want to pay with cash these days. Since the on-site manager was never there, I tried to use the kiosk. That almost never worked. So I had to drive to another facility about 5 miles away just to pay. Speaking of that, the cost. Public storage just wants your money. During my rental, I noticed the same size unit going for cheaper so I asked for a rent deduction. Shot down multiple times. These people are nothing but money hungry. And lastly, moving out. Good luck getting ahold of someone. When I did after going through the horrible automated system on the phone, I finally was able to speak to someone. Lacked empathy, screaming kids in the background, thank you for your time, bye.
In conclusion, I would not recommend this facility to anyone if customer service is a big deciding factor
It's clean and priced fairly. My only complaint is that the door doesn't automatically open when you leave and you have to drive at a weird angle to get the app to work. Even then it doesn't always work and you have to get out of your vehicle to open the door, which is kinda annoying.
I’ve been happy so far with public storage they’ve been very friendly and very affordable up until today I got a message that my rent went up from 200 to 300 dollars I’ve been renting for almost a year now and always pay on time this is the last time I will do business with public storage I understand a slight increase but this was uncalled for I’d recommend going else where
Very helpful! I needed to cancel my unit before moving in. The office was so nice and understanding. They refunded everything, cancelled recurring payments I had set up. Very easy to work with, when I need a unit again I will use this location.
Locked in after 9pm. The sign with hours is tiny and only unlit the big gate, not in the app nor posted at the keypad. Absurd. Terrifying predicament when I have a job and a family at home. Ridiculous.
Today I got an email that my monthly rate is increasing from $150 to $207. Are you kidding me? A 38% increase just like that, huh? Greed. Greed. Greed. I’m taking all my stuff somewhere else.
I spoke to Michael before I left home 900 miles away. People are just not inclined to give impeccable customer service these days, but Michael made everything right and I got into town and went where he was that day. My unit is great, your facility is immaculate. Thank You Michael for your thorough explanations and being so nice to my family as we are new to the area, and thank you for your recommendation of a great place for breakfast. We appreciate you and hope to encounter you soon, you are a real asset to your company!

Their first-month discount really came in handy! The staff were very courteous and friendly. When we accidentally left our unit unlocked, they contacted us the next morning to let us know they locked it for us. Awesome service!

Michael is one of the most professional kind hearted, willing to find solutions type of guy, honestly he operates like he is an owner and don't see employee when I am there.
(The owner should give that man a Raise, a bonus and pay for him and his wife to go on a vacation, if they haven't already.)

I had many issues and as a well oiled machine they assisted me in getting into a unit.
(With out Michael working with me with my situation, I would not have been able to have a place for my stuff and he made it happen that night! LIFE(stuff) SAVER, garbage truck was coming the next morning, he also showed me how to use the app, as I was in a wheel chair and it makes it seamless with this amazing app.)
I dont see them as expensive but HIGH value and I am more than happy to pay more, because of the atmosphere and affiliation.
I had an issue with getting set up online and needed a place to put my stuff that was on my dear friends front lawn, as where I'm now staying has no room for anything else.
I had recently lost my wallet and didn't have an ID so I HAD to go online and do it as I know my ID#, so the online denied me like 4 times I called and they were very professional and I was like, ok this is a neat company, they suggested I go in person, so I hobbled over to the 10 mile store as when I looked for eagle location I couldnt find it, grateful though as I met Michael.
He helped me when all I had was a digital card they don't take digital cards, but we figured it out, he helped me jump through hoops and we figured out what WAS possible, he genuinely cares and it shows.
I didn't just get a storage unit I got a really good friend, and amazing affiliation with the whole team.
I had an issue with my lock and Warren took care of it and communicated with me what had happened and everything was taken care of in a few minutes.
I could go find a cheaper unit and maybe even bigger for less, honestly I look forward to staying with them for a long time as this is the type of company I WANT to have my money, affiliation, time and energy.
Anyone who hires these amazing people is reflected so there character must be 5+ stars to attract these people that work for them.
