This facility is on a main road with wide east turns to access. There are indoor climate controlled storage units with built-in locks ready to use. Access inside is restricted by a long passcode, and the passcode only opens your floor for the elevator keeping things very safe. Inside the facility is very clean and well maintained, aside from recent damage obviously caused by careless customers.
Its in a commercial area with other shopping and restaurants, so you can run errands before or after the trip to storage. Definitely a go-to for storage needs in the Pearl City area.
We had a wonderful experience working with Martha today! She was well-informed and so easy to work with. It was a no-brainer to choose the Kuala St., Pearl City, HI location!

Michelle was able to assist us with following up with an issue with the entire contents of my storage unit. She was very professional, pleasant, and very helpful. I hope the issue will be correctly resolved as it had to be escalated.
We are currently renting a unit from the Public Storage in Pearl City. It’s tucked away off Kam Hwy, across from Walmart. Access is easy, no busy Highway with transients nearby, well lit, secure and staff is always onsite during business hours to assist. Parking is easy, and there are always carts available to haul your items to and from your unit. What I like about this facility is that the staff are so very helpful. I ran in to some issues with the rent increasing. I understand that with the economy and inflation, this happens. But there are times when the increases puts the customer in a position where they can’t afford it and may have to look elsewhere. Public Storage appreciates my business, knows it’s long term and wants to help me so we can maintain our partnership. Michelle & Martha at PS, have both gone above and beyond to help me figure what the best plan is for me. Even if it doesn’t work out (I will post update later) Their service is worth noting and recognizing. I highly recommend this facility for storage, it’s safe, clean and staffed with some pretty exceptional people.

Lou from Public Storage on Kuala Street was amazing to work with. He was professional and patient as he helped us figure out the size of unit we needed for our belongings. We were there for a good forty-five minutes as he toured the different units with us. Not once did he make us feel like we were being troublesome or that we were asking too many questions. 7/25/2022 Update: I had to move units a couple of times due to downsizing my personal belongings but everytime I needed help the manager and staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful.
Needed a place to store some equipment and was not disappointed. Melanie was very professional and super helpful with all my questions. 10/10 would recommend again. Awesome customer service and very friendly.

The late fee charge and late fee tax is just ridiculous charge. I get the late fee charge but to tack on a late fee tax, I was mostly shocked by that. The elevator isn't working and that doesn't help with elderly customers and people who have health issues to go up those stairs. Hopefully they get to fix that soon and this happened during the rain in the end of December 2021 and beginning of January 2022. I can say that the storage unit is clean though, no musty smells and the controlled temperatures is good enough. Cash, credit/debit acceptable payments. Hey, watch out for those fees if you pay your bill late. Yikes.
