Avoid Public Storage at all costs! They constantly hike prices, and their business practices are nothing short of a scam. I moved out on the 1st day of the month at noon, and they still charged me for the entire month. It's blatant theft. They refuse to prorate, which is just pure greed. This company is a rip-off, and their employees are completely useless. Absolute trash business!

Kim is still amazing. Came back to my unit yesterday and saw her smiling face. Also love the new remodeling. Looks very nice! Loves this storage company on McGinnis Ferry!

Well the most rewarding thing , My better half and I have succeeded in accomplishing , was taking care of my in-laws until their passing this past year. Public storage was so kind , compassionate, hospitable and professional in helping us. By providing the perfect storage unit to take care of the last of parent's family heirlooms , until we could have the time and money to ship them to their new homes with distant family members. The location is perfect. The units were dry , well kept (no rodents or bugs) modern climate controlled secured facilities . The open hours were accessible from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Most all days. Thank you so much Public Storage on McGinnis Ferry. I highly recommend this facility particularly. Will always hold a special place in my heart. Truly, The Miller-Stewart Family

I am very late with this review as I was supposed to do it a month ago however, my experience with this location was mostly positive Felicia and her manager were excellent at helping me change my storage unit and getting me moved in. She was patient and understanding walked me through all the steps and helped me get moved in. I appreciate her so much. The only issue I had is not with her, but with public storage, the code given were not accurate, and I did not have access to the building as promised through the website, I had to wait until they were open two days later this had nothing to do with Felicia and the public storage staff. Overall, the facility is clean and quiet, and I feel that my things are safe here. Great location.

Do NOT rent from this storage. The customer service is horrible, if you even get customer service at all. I started renting in late December. I noticed there was no one there when I actually went to fill my storage unit. I had questions due to the upfront charges. I live less than a mile away so I continued to call and physically come up the storage during business hours. There was never anyone there and they NEVER answer the phone. I didn’t receive a returned phone call until January 24th. On that call I was told that whoever was supposed to be there had been out and that the lady who returned my call was just filling in but that I would receive a refund for my lock since I didn’t need it and the insurance since I have home owners insurance. She said I would need to wait a few days to receive the refund…I never received a refund. I decided to close my storage recently and finally saw someone in the office, so when I went in, they said they would have a lady reach out about what happened because that employee just started. A man reached out to me today to inform me that I wouldn’t be getting any refunds. However they absolutely took my lock back so they will need to return the lock or return my money. Do NOT rent here! They do not keep up with the property, they will add random trumped up charges to your account and they NEVER have anyone who works there long enough to know anything, nor how to resolve problems, if they have anyone there at all.

Very spacious. We have more than enough room, and it's close enough that we can just walk there. It's pretty secure, no incidents happened including us at least.

I rented at this location and it was all due to Kim. I had called several locations and the customer service was terrible. When I spoke to Kim she was so pleasant that I decided to rent at this location even though the price was slightly more. When I arrived at the location I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile. It's nice to see that good customer service still exist. Thank you Kim for making my experience so wonderful.

This is by far the worse decision i have ever made. When i purchased this storage it was $185 and now it’s $319 I only needed it to move to another city to take care of my deteriorating grandfather. If anyone has stopped their life to care for an elder then they would know how complicated it is. I do not work and it’s extremely hard caring for him and my kids on top of his children having power of attorney and neglecting to assist me in helping him. He’s been in and out of the hospital all year and i almost thought i lost him on 4/4 in icu but he opened his eyes the day before yesterday The way public storage is handling this is horrible There’s no one who answers when i call I’ve had people physically go by the property to speak in person on my behalf and no one is ever in the office. I would like to pay the outrageous amount that it has accumulated to but the extra fees and things are just ridiculous And now a LIEN?!?! I have OVER paid in fees and others in previous payments but this is just getting out of hand now Public storage can email me six times in one hour to tell me about a payment that hasn’t been made but i have no one with a beating heart to speak to about my circumstances Had i known that when life happens there would be no one to help me i would have never chosen to purposely stress myself out I shouldn’t have to be faced with losing my things because i am caring for someone who is dying i try to contact someone about the space i rent to keep my belongings and though I’m unable to reach anyone the process to eliminate my things is still current It’s inhumane Shame on you public storage

Super frustrating! I came to rent a unit and all indications are that they are open…. Even saw a woman inside. But doors are locked and knocking isn’t getting a response. The phone is out of order…. Both numbers. Website says they have been open for More than a half hour. Wish I could reach someone!

I have spoken with Dashonta a numerous amount of times. I couldn’t help but to take the time and write a review! The extra mile to show customers she cares is amazing. She showed me units and making sure I understood everything while making me laugh along the way. Keep employees like her around.

They assisted me in finding the ideal storage space for my requirements and even provided me a discount on the first month's cost. I would strongly advise anyone in need of storage to use them.

First time renting a unit with this company. Only had my unit for about 5-7 days. Location is super convenient from my location but I went to get moving supplies today and location was closed or at least the doors were locked. Followed up with a phone call once I got home and no answer. Arrived at around 5:15. Please update business hours on your locations door and website. Major inconvenience to have to go elsewhere for supplies! Hope this isn’t a trend I’d hate to have to move my property to a competitor…

Public Storage was amazing while we were moving. They provided us with a storage unit to store some of our belongings while we got settled in our new home. The process was easy and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of a storage unit.

Pulled up at 530p on a Tuesday after i called and confirmed they would be open...they were closed. Actually saw the employee drive off. Then i Came by again on a Saturday for boxes and the clerk was unable to help me get boxes,because he had to wait for his boss....I waited 15mins before I left.

I have never rented a storage unit before until my recent move. I came into this location on Monday and I was unsure what I was looking for. I explained my situation and we discussed how large of a unit I would need. We walked around and spoke about the security benefits and how they check locks everyday to make sure they aren't tampered with. After renting the unit, he gave me a card with his name and stated he was the manager and if I ever have any questions or issues he would be happy to help me. The whole experience was wonderful and He really helped put my mind at ease. I highly recommend this store because of the manager and his willingness to care. A++ on customer service.

I had a wonderful experience yesterday at this location. I was going through a very difficult time, and Louie was so helpful and got every completed for me. He is truly an asset to this store.

The whole entire setup for getting a unit was simple and easy. The location is nice looking and highly secured with gate codes, phone apps access points, and security cameras. The pricing for my unit was very fair, definitely a recommend location to store your goods.

We initially had a different storage unit lined up but when we arrived, we had to wait 30 minutes for a unit that ended up having a bad leak. We came over to public storage on McGinnis Ferry Rd as a walk in and met Louie. He was fantastic! He was patient with with us, understood our concerns, and gave us a tour of the units available/building. He made sure to answer all of our questions and took his time to ensure we were happy! The units and building are very clean as well! Highly recommend! Thank you Louie for saving the day!
